We had the best experience replacing all our interior and exterior doors with Agnew Door & Window. The owners, Rusty and Callie, were great throughout the entire process. They also made sure our one custom door was exactly how we wanted it and kept us in the loop since it took a little longer. We had outside installers do all the non-custom doors and they were very impressed with how well the doors were made. Agnew installed our custom door and paid close attention to detail and installed the custom handles on site to ensure they were placed exactly where we wanted them. Super happy with the customer service, quality of products and price!

Not good. Agnew Door ordered the wrong style of window for my house. My house has 82" oriel windows where the bottom sash is 30" tall and the upper sashes are 52 inches tall. They ordered equal size sashes. Unfortunately, this was not discovered (by me) until after the first couple of smaller windows were installed. I allowed them to install 5 small windows that were made correctly. It turns out that the window manufacturer won't build the windows in the configuration that I need. That doesn't sound like a big deal, but I specifically requested oriel windows identical to those I currently have. As built, the window sashes and locks would be over 5" 6" above the ground. My wife wouldn't even be able to see the locks! I offered Agnew Door the opportunity to find another brand of window to complete the job, but they refused and believe that I should accept the incorrectly ordered windows. I also offered to pay them a fair payment for the windows they installed, but they have so far refused to refund me my down payment-which was much more than the value of the installed windows. I thought I was being more than reasonable by paying them anything, given that I now have 5 windows that I may not be able to match and may end up having to replace. I guess my next step is to talk to a lawyer to see if I can get my down payment back. As far as customer service, when they tell you they need to check on something and get back in touch with you, expect it to take a week. As far as window installation, their installers did an OK, but not exceptional job. They don't do any spray foam insulation, just basic caulk, which doesn't insulate. e They have recently changed ownership. I dealt with the previous owner when I purchased my windows, and I believe he is the one that screwed up when he ordered the windows. I'm now dealing with the new owner, who is the one that refuses to refund my money or accept fair payment.

The workers were very nice that wasn't a problem, the problem is the door air leaks.
Description of Work: I went there because they had bronze storm doors while most companies have white. I liked them, a man came out and put on the storm door and even installed a doggie door for me, but he left the screen off I believe and came back with another person to install the screen. They had a hard time putting it in but finally got it and I thought everything was okay. But the storm door is not sealed properly and it lets in cold air. I could seal part of the places but not all. I had to buy a bottom doordraft guard. It was just not what I expected.

My partner and I decided to replace our old storm door (the one on the back of our house) with an insulated steel security door, complete with double-paned glass. Well, a friend here in Oklahoma City said, "You have to call Agnew Door. Really. Trust me." So we called. They (the folks at Agnew Door) told us that we had to have a custom door made, so (biting the bullet) we spent the money and had them start work on a new door. To be candid, we were a little shocked when we heard how expensive the door was going to be. (That size is no longer mass produced, so we HAD to go with a custom made door.) Now, I'm so glad we made the choice and spent the money. (I love our new door!) It took about a week and a half or two weeks to get the door installed. A friendly, professional installer came out and hung the door. Well, the door didn't fit just perfectly, and we had a little water leakage here and there. So Agnew Door sent the same fellow out again, Same problem (albeit to a lesser extent) a few weeks later, right? "No big deal," said the folks at Agnew Door. "No, we want to make sure that things are done right and you're a happy customer." So they sent the same fellow out again and made things right for no charge. We deeply appreciate this dedication to customer service and professional installation. We also appreciate the friendly, courteous manner in which we were treated each and every time. We will continue to patronize Agnew Door, and you can rest assured that we'll be quick to refer them to all our friends, colleagues and clients. Best regards, Matt McNeil & Paul Paris, Oklahoma City www.okcestatesales.com
