Description of Work: I had new door installed and called ADT to have them reconnect the sensors for the new doors. I was told that it would be $99 an hour for labor and that I would have to purchase new sensors. They did not inform me that I could disable the alarm system and continue to use the system for the rest of the monitored areas so I did not have any operational alarm system. I canceled ADT even though I had to pay through June 13, 2011. I contracted with a local alarm company, Allied Security, and am very pleased with their professionalism, the installation process, the removal of the old system that was improperly installed to begin with, and the instruction on operation of the new system. I definitely would not recommend ADT.
