I think I pretty well answered this in the above treatise. However, I would like to add that these men were courteous, professional, friendly, as tidy as possible, and even when they didn't like a color I was considering it was hard to tell -- they are that well-mannered.
Description of Work: It all started with the loose corner of wallpaper. . . and since I wanted to get rid of two outdated turned posts in the entry that meant removing a bit of wall and that would leave a whole in the entryway floor . . . we ended up widening that particular opening from the entry to the living/dining, remove the odd wall between the kitchen and den that had a window in it. A window! Now we had to do flooring in the living/dining, entry and may as well go on through the hallway to the bedrooms. That was installed by Edmond Flooring who also refinished our '60s parquet in the den. More on that later. Back to ADG . . . We also removed popcorn ceiling in the living/den, kitchen and den. We painted the woodwood in those rooms as well as down the hallway. We plastered the walls. The brick around the fireplace had been painted and really couldn't be unpainted which is a shame because it was gorgeous, used brick pavers. Oh, well. They plastered that, too. And now it looks wonderful and not that nasty dirty white that was chipping. The frou-frou around a built-in bookcase was replaced with tailored trim. Those rooms were painted as well. It's really lovely, open, light. Love it. Love the guys who did the work. While I lived on my patio for around 6 weeks they not only did all that but kept the house as liveable as possible.

Recommended by an acquaintance. Worked quickly, efficiently, neatly. On time. On budget. Will use again as soon as I can afford to do some more work.
Description of Work: I can't remember the total cost now. This is actually a second review because I wanted to include a picture of the finished product. It might not be your taste, but I love it. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2278743&l=60c612bcd0&id=1430298584

He was able to stay within a reasonable time frame despite a couple of setbacks to be expected in an older house. Those who work with him are also very professional and prompt. All in all, this was a rewarding experience. Mr. Gales also left the area clean every evening.
Description of Work: Mr. Gales remodeled our outdated bathroom taking it back to the studs. His work included demolition, framing, insulation, plumbing, electrical, drywall/plaster, tile, custom cabinets, trim, counter top, painting. He is a bit of a perfectionist which can add a bit of time, but it's so very well worth it to have the beautiful bathroom he has built for us. Everything is superior.
