+ -1 moreOur seven year old built-in KitchenAid oven-microwave combination began displaying and quot;lost communicationsand quot; error messages when we used both the microwave and oven at the same time. The place where we purchased the appliance recommended we contact Adams Service in OKC, as the authorized repair business for KitchenAid. They were very responsive when we called and sent out a repair person, Jeff, exactly when they said they would. Turns out the oven and microwave are attached, making the unit very heavy. Apparently not many KitchenAid models are made this way...for good reason. I have a bad back so I couldn't help Jeff lift the unit out of its cabinet. So we arranged for another repair date when he could bring a sort of portable lift table that would allow him to just slide the device on to it without heavy lifting. Again, Jeff showed up exactly when promised. He was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Within about an hour he had pulled the unit, taken it apart, diagnosed the problem as a short in one of the connections and repaired it. This is just how these situations should be handled. Based on this experience, I highly recommend Adams Service Company for appliance repairs.

+ -1 moreFrom the first time I called them they were exceptionally professional. What was amazing was that I chatted with them several different times as we worked through whether our unit was under warranty or not, and it didn't matter who I talked to, each person was incredibly pleasant and new exactly everything about our account. Usually when you call a service provider back and you're talking to a new person, they have no clue about what your talking about and you have to start over. Not at Adams. I highly, highly recommend them. We will definitely call them again with any appliance issues we have. Delightful!

+ -1 moreEverything went perfect. Robert arrived both times at the beginning of the 2 hour window time that was given me. He was very knowledgable and friendly and professional. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: My garage refrigerator wasn't cooling, so I called Adams Service Company, which a neighbor recommended. They told me the labor would be $65.00 plus the cost of parts. Robert came out a couple of days later and quickly found the problem, which was the heating unit for the defrost. He said it would take a couple of days or so to order the part which shouldn't cost too much and they would call and set up an appointment when it came in. He said he would call if it was very expensive. They called 3 days later and I made another appointment for him to come out and install it. He came and installed the heating element and it works great.
