+ 0 moreAll work was done quickly. Everything went well. He cleaned up after himself, even throwing away all the packing material that came with the oven (a lot). After clean up, he took the time to show us how the burners/flame should look. Explaining color of the flames and correct height, etc. I left the above Cost of Service blank because it's been a few months and I honestly don't remember what I paid. However, I do know that I wouldn't have used Academy if their cost was not in line with other companies I had contacted.
Description of Work: After purchasing a new gas oven to replace an old electric one, we had Academy come out twice to our house. The first was to verify that there was a gas line close enough to tie into when hooking up the oven. The second was the oven installation. On both occasions they arrived on time and ready to work. Rob was professional and very experienced. A man of few words, he got right to work explaining what needed to be done. He showed my husband where the lines were, where and how the work would be done, so we always knew what was happening and why.

+ -1 moreIn the future, you should do what you say you're going to do. If something comes up and you cannot make it, don't make us call YOU to find out...call us so we can make different plans. There are four habbits that you need in order to be referrable and they are fairly easy to follow: 1. Be on time. 2. Do what you say you're going to do. 3. Finish what you start. 4. Say and quot;pleaseand quot; and and quot;thank youand quot;. If you can accomplish those four things, you don't have to worry about your fancy website, your facebook page, twitter, google plus...you can fill your business on referrals alone. AND, with those referrals, you won't have to worry if they are going to pay you or not.
Description of Work: We called the plumber at noon today to have someone out here. After quizzing us for the majority of the call about how we were going to pay and if we could pay today...which was fine, we do pay same day...he assured us he would be out before we close at 5 PM. Our business depends on this plumbing issue to be fixed. We were happy with that commitment, so we stopped trying to find a plumber for the day. 5 PM rolls around and we finally call him to see where he is. It appears he changed his mind and decided he couldn't come see us today. He argued with us and told us that he wasn't sure if he could be here today, but we are absolutely sure that he told us he could be here.

Description of Work: I've had Robert out to my house to fix my plumbing before and he's always been professional and he just plain does a good job. I highly recommend him and will be calling back in the future if I need to.

Description of Work: We have used Robert twice, with excellent & reliable service both times. We called him the first time to our new house where he reseated the toilet and fixed the broken faucet pipe outside. We called on a Friday afternoon and he came out after his last call that same day, working until 9:00 that evening with no after hours charges. We called him out again yesterday on our rent house where he inspected and fixed a leak in the condensation drain. Again, he worked late in the evening with no extra charges. We are very pleased with his service, trust his expertise, and will definitely call him again. Prices are very reasonable.
