Tiller Fence & Deck

We looked on Angie’s List and saw good reviews on it and were are happy with the service. Their professionalism and clean up was good. What impressed us is that Mr. Tiller himself came out to inspect the work done by his workers to make sure that if we did have any issues to let him know. We had a couple of which is normal with wood as the couple of pieces were split and they came out and took care of it and Mr. Tiller came out himself. The price was very good.

I received estimates from five fence companies for installing a wrought iron fence around a half acre backyard. Luke Tiller returned my call the same day and measured our yard the next day. He was very professional and very responsive anytime we had a question. His price was the most reasonable/lowest of all the estimates we received. I highly recommend Tiller Fence and Deck!! Very pleased even 7 months later wishing I had recommended him sooner!

The process went very well. They were fast in getting there and getting done. The fence went up quickly in about two days. I have dogs so they were even mindful to not leave me without any fence around my back yard overnight. The old fence was removed and instead of going into a landfill the wood will be reused for other purposes. I would like to see what becomes of the old fence! Only thing I might do different is have a discussion about what hardware goes on the gate; I wish that it had a handle on both sides as well as the mechanism that opens and latches the gate.

We are delighted with it. It looks better than the other one they took out. They were prompt, quick and high quality.

I feel that the work could have been done better. I had to call Mr. Tiller back out to redo some of the work. And, even though I do understand that the weather was bad some days, there were good days that the crew missed out on and did not come to work.

I have another Angie?s List experience with Tiller Fence Company it?s been over a year ago and they were highly rated by Angie?s List and they were terrible. It was just a listed problems but I don?t know if you can pull up where Tiller Fence was. I really want to go to whole survey nor share out with them but basically they have one guy doing the fence. He stopped doing the job and didn?t want to complete everything because he was afraid he was going to dig in to a power line which the fence company had doing yard marked and it surprised me that he wouldn?t and he finally did finish up most of it. He has an assistant who are doing the work. He contact me at the gas station and want me to come and give him a check. He was like three blocks from my house. I call my wife and said how?s it look and she said you better come home. I came home and this was the only that they actually come out and done this. He take (inaudible) and tried to trim because I told him not to put the fence on the ground because the water will sip up on the fence and he had just take him like a (inaudible) along the bottom of it and it was totally crooked and terrible job and this is the only company. He then get another guy that was pretty good and he put trim boards on it and covered it up and kinda made it better but it was really bad experience from the get-go. I really feel like the guy was trying to give me the check so he would have to come over or face me when I inspected it and it was just really was a bad experience. Again, I was basing it on Angie?s List ratings. The work probably has been a year and a half ago. I can?t remember exact approximate cost of service. The price was average.

Luke was great to work with! He and his crew always showed up when they said that they would be here. They came and worked hard and got their work done in a very timely manner! The fence looks great!!

I had Mr. Tiller install a fence 3 years ago and called him back to build a deck for a hot. The deck was just completed and looks great.

Mr. Tiller installed beautiful stained fence with cap. Our yard was only open for one day and that was a big deal as we have a pool, kids and dogs. This was installed installed 3 years ago and still looks like new. I would highly recommend Tiller Fence.

Okay. Quality and follow through needs to improve.

We decided to wait on the project and I don't remember his estimate. I threw paper work away. Sorry. Not sure of exact date either. You need a NA on the grade when people don't use a provider for work.

Call several times spoke with the representative set up a date for them to come out on one occasion nobody ever showed up no quote was ever for I did

We did have trouble getting schedules set in the beginning but were very pleased with the work. We would recommend them to others and would use them again.

We had done some looking on line for fencing, but Luke's website had everything. He tried to find green vinyl for us, but we are just as pleased with the wrought-iron look. The crew worked in between periods when the weather was dreadful with ice and snow, so the length of the job turned out to be longer than expected, but it wasn't a problem. When we ask it to be finished up, they came out and it was done the next day. We had several tree roots from two giant trees nearby that they had to be careful of and very judiciously only trimmed branches that they absolutely had to. We really appreciated their efforts on that.

Luke is everything we could want in a professional fencing construction company. Estimate, communication, scheduling, and process were all accurate, up front, and the most professional I've ever experienced with a construction crew in Oklahoma. Even handling unforseen obstacles during construction was handled with a professionalism and competence rarely encountered with independent construction crews. Will definitely keep their number handy--the don't skimp on quality materials, follow instructions to a "t," and do great quality work.

My issue with them is it took too long to get the work done. But, the actual work that was done was good. It just was that it took to long to get the actual work done. I got what I wanted for a fair price, but they basically would say they were going to come out and do it and they won't show up.

We were very happy with them. They did a nice job. He came right out. They did a very good job. The price was what he told us it would be. We would definitely use them again.

Found them on Angie's list and gave Luke a call. He got back to me immediately and came out to the house a day later to give us an estimate, which we got the next day. It took a while to get going because the railing was on back order so we had to wait a few weeks for it. Once they started, it took about 4 days. Had a small mishap with hitting a water line (no ones fault as it was a back line that is never used so no one knew it was there), but nothing that Luke wasn't able to immediately fix. I had given specific instructions that we have a very small dog that likes to escape so they needed to make sure that the fence was as close to the ground as possible. The fence goes into the ground in all areas, and some areas have a large slope and uneven ground so I am very pleased with it. All in all, great job! Fence looks amazing. We are eventually going to replace our front gate and I will definitely be calling them to do it.

They showed for an estimate on time, in person. Gave me a quote, I worked it out with my neighbor. They came in at a time that was amenable to all of us. And work was done in a day. The clean-up was good.

Installed cedar fencing on 3 sides of home. Went very smooth and looks great!

We could have built a new barn because they were way too expensive so we didn't go through them. They were very professional and they came out when they said they were going to. It was just all about the pricing. We didn't think they were going to meet our needs with the price they were looking at. We spent $7,000 and they wanted $30,000.

Steel posts went in one day and panels installed the next. Easy peasy!

I had three estimates for my fence. Luke Tiller was the lowest and said he could start in 2 1/2 weeks. He started the job about 4 weeks later (the rain was a factor, he said) and it took 2 weeks for his crew to finish. Luke's foreman knew what he was doing and used quality materials. I think Tiller installed a good fence for the money, but I do have a few small complaints. The workers started the job late and then appeared randomly during the next 2 weeks for 2 or 3 hours at a time. In addition, I instructed the foreman that I wanted the cedar pickets an inch or two above the ground, but a lot of the pickets are in the dirt. The workers left some good scrapes and scratches in the iron fence. When I asked Luke about this he said I could get some black spray paint at Lowes. In the end, I have a good fence for a fair price. I would give Luke Tiller a B overall.

There was a bit of a delay getting started because of rain. They installed the posts in concrete on a Wednesday and completed the job the following Monday. The work was done promptly and well, and when we had a questions, mLuke Tiller called up back and answered our questions to our satisfaction. They cleaned up thoroughly when finished. We are completely satisfied.

I was very happy with him. He got back promptly and answered all our questions. We were very happy with the process so far. He was very quick, and like I said, he got back and he was happy to answer any of our questions at anytime. We're very happy with all that!
