The estimator came out timely and an estimate was sent to me quickly. The work was started on a Friday and finished the following Monday, though the crew does not work weekends. The crew did install a gate on the wrong entrance to the deck. Mr. Tiller asked that I pay the full amount of the deck within two days and he would make sure the gate was moved. I have reminded Mr. Tiller a couple of times and two months later, the gate is still not corrected. In the future, I would withhold payment until the project is completed perfectly rather than trusting people will do what they say. I had delayed writing this review hoping I could score it higher.

Work was excellent, high quality. Communication wasn't great. Had trouble reaching him by phone a few times, and when the workers were installing the fence, there were a couple of periods where they were gone for days between steps without letting me know when they'd be back. Part of this is due to normal fence requirements like letting concrete dry, but a general update of when they'd be back to finish it would have been nice. The fence itself turned out fantastic. Price was great. Would definitely use them again.

Competitor was hundreds of dollars higher than Mr Luke Tiller and would not even bid on required concrete boring. "Matt", the construction team leader, was in charge and had obviously done similar jobs MANY times before. He was on top of the inevitable unexpected problems that pop up on complex jobs. Whenever questions or issues arose Mr Luke Tiller and I got together and worked them out in a professional manner. Great job, great fence, installed by a great company!

Luke, the owner of Tiller Fence & Deck, was very responsive and answered all of my questions. The work was done as expected and in the timeframe quoted. The crew cleaned up and the only evidence anyone had been there was a beautiful new fence. It was a bonus for me that Luke recycled the old fence. I'm very impressed and pleased with the work that was done. I would hire Tiller Fence & Deck again without question!

Luke responded very quickly to our request for a bid and provided a thorough cost estimate. He advised us regarding materials and we are happier with his suggestion than we would have been with our original idea. He warned us to expect a couple of weeks delay, which was about right. The fence was removed and the debris was taken away the next day. There was about a 10-day delay between the removal and replacement, which we did not know to anticipate. This is my only recommendation for better service, to have had slightly better communication about when to expect services. The fence construction team did a great job. They removed dirt that had pushed out our previous fence and built a new, stronger retaining wall. The fence itself is beautiful and perfectly straight (they used a level on every single picket). The work crew was tidy and polite and self-sufficient. We would definitely use Tiller Fence again.

If you are needing a deck that will last, installed properly, priced competitively by a crew that is friendly and professional, look no further that Tiller Fence. I get to know Luke and his crew and as overfly impressed on how smooth the project went. My bamboo deck is very distinctive and have received multiple complements from my neighbors. I needed 3 broken cedar pickets fixed and a post reset in concrete - damage caused by a home builder's dirt grading contractor on another person's lot. Coordinated the repair through the home builder and Tiller Fence and Deck, which I knew would be more of a hassle but the home builder needed to pay for the repairs, not me. It took Tiller more than a month to schedule me and even then wouldn't tell me what day they were going to come out. I explicitly told them that I need to know so I could unlock my gate and secure my large outdoor dog. They showed up randomly with no notice so my wife didn't answer the door and they just decided to let themselves into my backyard and do whatever they felt like doing. They only replaced 2 of 3 broken pickets and scrounged around my backyard to find a t-post to prop against the fence to hold it upright while the new concrete set. I feel that their entering my yard unannounced and performing work without me present was very unprofessional, not to mention the awful scheduling and lack of communication.

Luke Tiller was very responsive to emails and answered all our questions. He helped us plan what type of fencing would look best. His 2-person team arrived promptly with the materials for the job and went over the plan with me to make sure they knew what needed to be done. They kept me informed of their progress as they worked and finished the job in 2 days. Luke inspected it to make sure it was done correctly and spoke with me to verify that I was happy with the work. We recommend Tiller Fence & Deck and will be using their services again.

Love the new fencing installed by Tiller! My neighbors said it looks "amazing" and makes my house "look like a million bucks"! The fencing was installed in two areas at two different times - the first fencing went in seamlessly with no problems. There were a couple of issues with the second installation (design not communicated to installers sufficiently, and project not completed at time of installation - possibly because of holidays and weather issues) but those were resolved with an email to Mr. Tiller. I plan to use them for a future backyard deck.

Tiller Fence has provided horrible service. They began delivering pickets. There are knot holes in every five boards. There were not supposed to be any knots at all. The second load was supposed to be american red cedar wood and it is an american white cedar. The owner/salesman Luke has not been helpful in correcting the issues. We were trusting him to provide the correct materials and have him make sure it all looked the same. He has not. He sold us the project and has yet to show up to make things right. He was supposed to have this done in a week. We are approaching week three. This is a high end job but the follow through and customer service has been atrocious.

3-person team showed up as committed and workedd for 2 days +. They were communicative if they had questions and were very professional. The old fence materials were stacked at the curb and picked up the next day. They told us when the pick-up would occur and it did. 2-person team installed the new fence. I have seldom seen people work non-stop to make their committed installation date but they stayed with it late into the evening to make sure their word was good. Luke Tiller, the owner, showed up to ask if I was pleased with the installation. Wow - a new bar for customer service. Thank you Luke. Person doing the stain showed up the after fence was completed and allowed to dry. Again, Luke sent me an e-mail asking if I was satisfied with the stain. I chose Tiller Fence and Deck based on comfort from talking with Luke Teller AFTER checking their references, pictures of their work and responsiveness. I am extremely pleased with Tiller Fence and Deck and can comfortably recommend them for excellent service and quality, on time, delivery of committed services.

Owner did not visit during installation. 2 man crew not well trained. Installed small gate and big gate in wrong place after we had the talk and told them where they went. Small gate posts set too close each other so small gate will not swing in and out completely. Large gate has post too far from shop and creates an escape hole under the gate beside the concrete walkway. Not worth fighting over so let it go. Drive thru gate OK.

Quote was given very promptly. Price was right in the middle of my other estimates. Project took longer than expected due to a gate not arriving on time. The guys who did the work were very polite and cleaned up their mess to my sastifaction. They did show up once to work on it and then left due to not having the right parts and were supposed to come back that day, but did not. They did come back the following Sunday and finished the job. Communication from them could have been better. Overall, i was sastified.

They came out and took pictures for an estimate on July 13th. July 21st asked for the estimate. July 23rd asked for the estimate. July 27th asked for the estimate. July 28th...said the lost my email address...I gave it to them again July 31st....asked them to notify me if the job was too small to warrant their attention. Never heard from them again, never got an estimate

Very responsive, did great work and was done quickly. Had to custom fit the gate and put a child proof lock on it for us. Would def use Luke and his company again.

I called and scheduled an appointment to have someone from the company to come out give me an estimate to install 500ft of fence, the work site is in Tuttle OK at a new home that I am purchasing. I was suppose to meet with Issac on 7/9/2015 at 5pm, he called at 4:45pm said he was late getting out of a meeting and asked to reschedule. I rescheduled with him for 7/10/2015 at 5pm. On 7/10/2015 I drove 20 miles out to the new house a 2nd time, arrived at 4:50pm . Issac called me at 4:55pm offered another excuse and needed to reschedule yet again, he wanted to reschedule for the following Monday. Enough! if all I get is excuses on why you can't make a scheduled appointment two days in a row after I drove 30 miles to meet with you on two consecutive days in a row for an estimate you're not the guys I want to give my business to. Makes me wonder about how the job would go if I were to hire this company. I am not pleased!! I gave my business to one of the companies that actually showed up on the first day as scheduled.
