Description of Work: I needed a shower tiled

Description of Work: The Tile Guys took up the old tile in my home, removed the wood floors, and smoothed out the concrete underneath. They prepared, stained and sealed our entire house.

Description of Work: Bathroom tile in shower cleaned and kitchen

Description of Work: "C" means average. Cannot complain about what was charged. The actual work was not bad. Here are my complaints: The man or men he contracted out with seemed to be in more control than him. They did not clean up after their work and there was a lot of dust residue in the garage and bathroom area but they left debris and even an approx 10" stain right in front of the garage. Contractor did some clean-up. They should have done the cutting outside of the house & garage. They could have easily done this and would have been just as close to the bathroom. Contractor seemed to push for a replacement of our porcelain tub with a cheap plastic tub which would probably make his job easier but reduce the value and look of our bathroom. Contractor needs to understand that a job might involve a little more work based upon customers' desires and bid accordingly instead of trying to short-cut some way that will cost the customer more money and have less value after the project. He didn't want to caulk the new shower doors...said that it doesn't need it even though it was requested...he did it anyways but later found out that it needed it again in a particular place but didn't re-caulk that area after I called him (described below). At first we were impressed with the work but upon further review there are places on the edges of several pieces of the marble that shouldn't have been installed to begin with...they should've been replaced with new pieces but that is after the fact. When you first look at something that has been completely re-done that has quite a few details, you tend to not see the details until time goes by. What has been done is over now but this is marble and I think more attention to detail by the sub-contractor(s) should have been exercised so that new pieces could have been purchased after seeing some chipped pieces while they were cutting the material. Lastly, the faucet handle had broken on Christmas Eve, I believe (about 4 weeks after project completion). I took care of it but wanted the contractor to come by and look at it after Christmas Eve...there was no rush. I called and left a message and he never called me back. I called again about 4 weeks later and spoke with him and he told me that he would come by about a week or so later to see it, but he never did, nor did he call me back and leave a message. If the broken faucet was my fault then I have no problem paying for it, but I wanted it to be repaired properly so I needed him to look at it and make appropriate adjustments/repairs if needed and will pay him if it was my fault. Overall the work was ok and would give him a "B", but it was the total experience in which I give him a high "C" or a low "B".

Description of Work: Removed grout, refilled, new calking,& life-time sealer in three bathrooms

Description of Work: The provider removed carpet from a bathroom (200 Square foot) and replaced it with tile.

Description of Work: Replaced the shower pan, retiled shower and bathroom floor. I was so pleased I hired him again, to repair the grout in my entryway and kitchen floors.
