I called this company in Sept 2012 for foundation repairs to my home. The office staff was very nice on the phone, and more than happy to answer all of my questions. The VP of the company showed up to do the estimate. He arrived right on time and explained everything in detail as to what they would do to fix my problem. I did get estimates from 2 other companies, but Power Jack offered the best service, and the best value. The install crew arrived the morning of the day we had agreed to do the job. The crew foreman walked me around the house and explained to me exactly what they where going to do. He told me the total job would take aprox 2.5 to 3 days, they finished the job in 2 days. After the job was finished they cleaned everything up, they even put the mulch back in the flower beds. They dug some very large deep holes all around the house, but when they finished the yard looked exactly as it did before they arrived. I am very pleased with their work, they did an excellent job.

It's a family-run company and they seemed professional. I like that they aren't a franchise. It seemed like an honest bid. They called back right away but they're pretty busy so it took a couple weeks for them to get here. They made an appointment and they kept that appointment. We are going to go with them.

It was concise and took a few days to get it. I got the quote back with a long sketch of where the jacks to raise the foundation would go. They were very responsive; it did not take them long to get out here and they were punctual.

After doing much research I called Power Jack to look at the structural problems that had appeared with my house. Zach Reeves had to drive approximately 60 miles to my location and was precisely on time as promised. I was definitely prepared to hear the bad news and was sure it would be a huge financial expense. Upon thorough inspection to the inside and outside of my home, he informed me that the structural problems were definitely not due to the foundation and insisted that his foundation repair services were not necessary. What a huge surprise!! He clearly explained what was going on with my home and detailed the exact services that I was needing. In addition to this good news, he didn't even charge me a service call. What an honest company! I will definitely call them again if needed and will gladly tell others of this positive experience. Thank you Power Jack and Zach Reeves.

Although we did have to wait seeral months for the initial inspection and estimate, Zach was punctual and professional in examining our home and the need for foundation lifts. He explained their proceedures and the cost and indicated that our job would be about 3 months out from the date we scheduled it. Last summer's heat has kept them very busy. The week before scheduled work, they called to remind and give instuctions on the times someone needed to be home, plus payment details. The crew arrived on schedule and did a great job. They had to completely tear out one flower bed but I indicated the special plants, provided tubs to hold them and they saved everything I asked for. They do not replant the flowers, but they do refill the areas and really clean up the yard in general. The areas covered by concrete were cut out very carefully and the concrete repoured and smoothed out well. Considering this is a job and expense most of us do not want to take on, these guys made it almost painless. Tony the job foreman, is such a nice guy and his workers are all polite and considerate. We did enjoy watching the lift and learning about the process.

I didn't spend any money. They came out and looked at the areas that I had some concerns with. I called them by reading the reviews that were on Angie's List. I didn't have any issues with them. They told me that I didn't need any work done.

Rampant and increasing shifting, cracking, sticking of windows and doors, splitting of baseboards and seals, etc. developed in our home soon after purchase. After consulting over the course of several months and seasons with a variety of structural engineers and foundation repair companies, the consensus we heard was the home needed piers installed around nearly the entire structure in order to correct the problem. Basically, there was no easy way out and the cost was going to be substantial. Of all the engineers and foundation repair companies we received estimates from, Power Jack was the most transparent, honest and thorough. The VP of the company came for the estimate. He explained the need for each pier in detail and described the process they use to show it would be the best type of foundation repair for our particular property. Their prices were not the cheapest, but the problem was serious enough that we had decided this was not the type of job we wanted to go cheap on. The crew arrived on time as scheduled and stayed busy for five full workdays. The job is messy by nature, but they did a decent job cleaning up at the end of each work day and placing heavy equipment or other possible hazards in the safest possible areas. The crew was cordial and helpful when they needed to speak with us about what they were doing. The crew chief took the time to walk us around the house several times to show us the work being done and explain the strategy they were using. We were actually able to watch cracks close up as they lifted the house. Pretty impressive. All the major cracks that indicated shifting have closed up and some doors and windows have become unstuck. Due to the extensive nature of our problems, they were not able to repair every crack, loose brick or sticky door, but we are confident the home is on a much better foundation than before. We also enjoy having a transferrable lifetime warranty that says Power Jack will come repair or adjust the piers if needed for as long as the home is standing. Only complaint was once we decided we wanted to go forward with the job, it took a couple followup reminder calls from us over the course of two weeks to actually get it scheduled. But this is a minor hiccup in an otherwise positive experience (albeit an experience we wish we never had to endure...such is home ownership).
