Justin is a firefighter for Oklahoma City Fire Dept. On his days off he installs tile and wood. My daughter-in-law went to school with him and recommended him to us after learning we couldn't get any contractors to even return our phone calls for estimates. I liked that he is a firefighter. My brother and nephew are firefighters. Justin was extremely professional and a super honest, nice guy. He is an obvious "family man" and a man of faith. He always showed up when he said he would. He always called to keep me informed as to when he could return. He cleaned up his messes, but the messes were always kept to a minimum. He is extremely articulate and precise in all that he does. Although he is a relatively young man, he is old-school as far as his standards go. He sets a high bar for himself. His word is his bond and you will NOT get a sloppy job. He took such great pains to do things right and went above and beyond to make us happy with the results. You can tell that he really cares about his reputation and the results of his work. He obviously tries to give customers the same quality he expects for himself. He is extremely clean-cut... a standout in his industry, for sure. I cannot praise him enough. We are SO thrilled with our bathroom and bedroom remodel. It looks amazing and we feel very blessed to have found him. He did a diamond pattern in our shower and took great pains to make sure the shower fixtures would fit just perfect for the plumber and that things were straight and balanced. He built it from the ground up, putting in a new pan, etc. He made an amazing step which had some difficult angles, but didn't piece it with little pieces. Instead, he made necessary cuts using our 12" tiles giving it a much nicer look. He made some awesome shelves and trimmed the shelves and step like a master. He took pains to do things that no other contractor would have done. He helped us work in some glass blocks to help the shower tie in with a glass block window in the room. He also took pains to do the tile work in a way that would accommodate the low lighting we are going to put in around the top of the shower. When the glass people came to give us an estimate, they were amazed at his work. The plumber even noted that you just don't see that quality of tile work very often. Note that because Justin is a firefighter, if you decide to use him you have to know that he has to work around his work schedule. You can't be in a huge hurry on a big job but the wait is 200% worth it. I didn't care how long it took. I got the results I wanted and more. The quality and experience of working with a true professional was SO worth the wait. It was such a pleasure working with him. He's a very pleasant guy. I will definitely use him again in the future. He's amazing. I almost hate to put him on here for fear he will always be so busy he won't be able to work me in! Ha! You can't go wrong with this guy. Promise.
Description of Work: Justin Lorenzen re-tiled our shower (from the pan up, including shelves and step), tiled part of the bathroom floor, water closet; and installed a beautiful bamboo floor in the remainder of the bathroom and the bedroom.
