OUTSTANDING, Had some electric issues throughout the house. OG&E was called out , thinking it was something on their end. The tech found out that one of the lug was burnt out and not enough of power was being supplied to the house. After call almost a dozen of companies ,which all of them were backed up until the later part of the week. Called Rusty at RPK, told me he had some other jobs lined up and might be able to squeeze me in. Long story short , he squeeze me in had me call OG&E prior to him coming out to killed the power completed. Job was done in matters of minutes. And with a price i could deal with and got a military discount.. GREAT job fellas.

Mr. Byars was on time, provided professional, excellent services and completed all below his projected price. He provided great advice and listened to and carried out my wishes. I couldn't be any more satisfied with the results! I highly recommend him.

I contacted Roger after reading great reviews on him on Angie's List. I own a home that I rent in Moore that suffered some tornado and water damage. After sheetrock and painting, I needed some lights reset/repaired. Our communication was by phone. An appointment was set and he was prompt and reasonable and my renters are happy with the results! Roger's service, reliability, and promptness was greatly appreciated!

Roger was very honest and tried a couple of options to see if he could avoid replacing box, however it needed to be done. He wrote a proposal to our insurance company and they paid for the cost of the box due to the tornado. We also had him replace an old smoke alarm that is wired into the electricy with one that is a smoke/carbon monoxide detecter. Roger was very prompt and worked very quickly doing a great job and cleaning up any mess. He is very personable and professional.

We had electrical problems after the tornado and part of the house had no power. He came out promptly and found/resolved the issue quickly. He was very professional. Great service.

Technician arrived in the middle of a crisis as our house had apparently been struck by lightning earlier in the morning. We had contracted with Byars Electric a week ago to show up at 0800 this morning to install three new lights on the front of the house. We had a power surge apparently caused by a lightning strike at 0330 and the alarm system, A/C, phone line and computer router were not working. The alarm system was particularly annoying because of the ear splitting noise it was making. The Technician located the alarm panel and disabled the noise, reset the router on the computer, checked the A/C and installed the lights and charged me what I thought was a reasonable amount just for doing the lights. My wife and I were very impressed.

Shortly after a painter removed outlet and light switch plate covers to paint two rooms in our house, he noticed that the ceiling light and fan did not work in one of the rooms. The painter being a "handy man" too, tested the light and found it "hot", so I changed the bulb, but it still did not work. Fortunately the windows provided sufficient light to allow him to continued to paint. A few hours later I found some other lights in that area of the house that were also not working. It was confusing because everything in the circuit box checked out okay, per the painter/handy man. Also, on the circuit involved some lights worked and some not. I used Angie's List to find Byars Electric who told me he could stop by within the next hour or two and that he would call before coming over. He called back in less than an hour later and was at our house a few minutes later. Roger (Byars) methodically assessed each outlet and switch which the painter had removed and eventually identified not only the issue at hand, but another peripheral issue in the attic - a jury-rigged, make shift light. All-in-all he was in and out and fixed the problem in about 90-minutes. During his time at our house he was extremely polite, and kindly and professionally interacted with the painter who was quite inquisitive, but continued his work. Once done he noticed I had been in the middle of replacing some light fixtures on the back of our house and offered to finish it up for me as I had moved onto another project while he was working. I can honestly recommend Roger Byars without reservation.

I could not be more pleased! If you could give an A++ rating, I would. This guy is the real deal! Honest, professional, knowledgeable, hardworking, detailed, etc. And I couldn't believe how great the price was in the end! Never call anyone but Byars Electric!!

Great. Right on time even a few minutes early. Had an assistant. Fiddled with one job until he got it just right which I appreciated. Very tidy and explained stuff well. Personable. Rate was extremely reasonable considering that he came all the way from Norman to Edmond. Highly recommend Roger.

We had purchased an older home and the electrical panel needed to be replaced. Mr. Byars is careful, conscientious, and polite. We called him back a month or so later to do some repairs on the pool wiring. We have been very happy so far.

I contacted Mr. Byars Thursday night with an issue that caused the loss of power at several outlets in my master bedroom. I had traced it to loose connections in the smoke detector in the ceiling but didn't feel comfortable working on it myself. He offered to come out that night if I felt it was an emergency but I declined and we scheduled an appointment for 8 a.m. the next morning. He arrived a few minutes early and I showed him the problem and he got right to work. He was very personable throughout the 30 or so minutes it took for him to take care of the problem and restore electrical power to all my outlets. I found him to be a competent, professional businessman and I will be calling him back in the future with additional projects that I have in mind.

I called Byars Electric and Roger was able to work me in quickly. I told him what I wanted done, and he gave me a price quote for the service call (approx an hour of labor), which was a very reasonable price. He showed up right on time and was very professional and courteous. He quickly determined my light switch needed to be replaced, and when done with that, he replaced 4 outlet plugs which were too "loose" to hold plugs well. Roger let me watch him replace those plugs and explained how it worked and told me if I wanted to do those myself in the future, I could give him a call if I had questions. Roger is one of those old-fashioned work-hard, do it right kind of service professionals, and I highly recommend him and his company to anyone needing an electrician! I will definitely call him again when I need an electrical expert!
