They took one look at it and said it would be an extra $30 to do the job within the 1st 5 min they were here. We bought the special pricing for $89 here on Angie's List, but it cost us an extra $30. I called them twice after the purchase and they told me would call back later in the week and they didn't. We called the 3rd week and they finally agreed to come out and do the work. Not impressed with this company and will NOT use them again.

Got a request for review before the appointment was made. Had to push for appointment. On day of appointment, vendor did not show up, had to call through a 3rd party to get a hold of them. They didn't know who I was or that there was an appointment. Convinced them to go ahead and come out (almost 2 hours late), and when they got there we had another repairman at the house. So I asked them to check the flue for blockages and clean it. They did some things... (I think they did the work). Afterwards when I talked to the vendor, he seemed surprised that I asked if there was anything blocking the flue. (?) Then two days later I got a call from them saying they wanted to make an appointment for service. Good price, but decide for yourself.

I was very pleased with the work and professionalism of this company.

I bought the $89 Chimney Sweep and Safety Inspection deal on Nov. 20. When filling out the information, I completed the form and indicated 3 different possible times for the work to come and be completed (I chose December 1, 2, or 5) . No one contacted me or came any of those times. On December 14 I called the number listed on the coupon, and I told the gentleman that answered that I needed to schedule a chimney sweep to come and that I had purchased the Angie's list deal. He told me he was at McDonald's and that he would have to call me back. He did call me back a few minutes later, and the work was scheduled for Wednesday December 21 at 10:00 am, and I would be called 30 minutes before the workers came. After no one showed up or called, I called at 11:00 am. I was told that he had no recollection of making an appointment with me, and that probably he could come in the next couple of days. I made an appointment today (12/23) for 10:00 am, and was told I would be called before they came. It is now 10:55 am and I have not received a phone call, and no one has showed up. I am working to get a refund, but so far have been told I am out of the 30 day guarantee.

All went well. They came on time and completed the work quickly without and mess.

Overall he did a decent job of cleaning the fireplace. I took advantage of the $89 special and saw on Angie's email that he had an A with 6 reviews. My trust was in Angie's list to "buy now". He came to clean on the same day the review of Dec.12 came out. I did not see that review until I went to write my own review. We live in a condo with a common sized fireplace which we have cleaned every year. First words out of this guys mouth was "We have a really dirty chimney" that requires an extra charge. We had an unusual chimney cap that required an extra charge. My problem with all this is that our experience was almost verbatim to the review on Dec. 12 and I'm concerned there is a potential for abuse to people who take advantage of these "specials". It's any easy way to get in and then finding ways to charge more. There may be a special category for chimney caps ($26), but he acted like ours was the dirtiest chimney he had ever seen. He left here with an additional $86, which he kept saying was still a really good deal. Bottom line, no more "specials" from Angie's list, and no more of my business for him.

Took advantage of the "deal" for $89 to have chimney cleaned/swept. Provider arrived on time. He stated that my chimney was really dirty, the fireplace was bigger than most & he normally charges more than $125. He mentioned this more than once. He used the wire brush and the vacuum etc. After all was done (there is still debris in the fireplace he failed to vacuum), he wrote a receipt/invoice for an additional $30 (because my fireplace/chimney is larger than most). When I challenged his charge with the Angie's list receipt, he stated he told me before he started the work, that there would be a $30 charge due to the size of the fireplace. This is not the case. He never said I would have another $30 to pay nor would I have agreed. And, the "deal" does not indicate that there is an additional charge for larger fireplaces. He snatched my yellow copy off the table and walked out. Very unprofessional. Will not utilize his services nor will I recommend.

Great! Dryer is much more efficient since having the ducting cleaned. My chimney is clean and safe to use for the winter!

Was told he worked approximately 20 minutes. Made a statement regarding the spider webs and chimney size. After completing the job took a check from my Mom for $89.00; although, he received a Special Offer payment of $89.00. So, $179.00 total payment. Did not return call regarding overpayment.

As far as I know they just do a good job. They got in and did the job, cleaned up, that was it.

Robert and his assistant arrived when scheduled and did a great job of cleaning the vents and cleaning up afterward. They were very thorough. They worked me in on the day I called, but I will schedule in advance next time since this needs to be yearly maintenance. Dryer vents clog up easily and over time can not only slow the efficiency of your dryer but can lead to fires.

Performed service and I requested the team come back to clean out dryer vent. Robert looked at current system (dryer lint removal) and made some recommendations for better performance.

company was efficient and took time to look at my dryer vents while on roof suggested I have those cleaned at another time convenient for me if interested I appreciated that and didn't feel any sales pressure and will hire them back for that project

Robert is an experienced professional. He actually diagnosed the actual problem and fixed it in one visit. I was expecting a huge bill, but he only charged me $20 more than a standard cleaning. I would definitely use him again for chimney or dryer vent cleaning or repair again.

Robert was very efficient at his job. He looked at the dryer vent hose and cleaned the wall vent. Also he went up on my roof in the heat and checked the roof vent. All the lent was swept up and put in a trash bag. Robert is a very polite and friendly person. He was fast and professional at his job. I am extremely pleased with the job he did. I highly recommend him.

I was prepared for my chimney to be dirty; it's a chimney after all. What really amazed me was how much lint came out of my walls and the dryer vent piping up to the roof of my house. I clean my lint trap but had no idea how much lint could get stuck in the piping. I was pleased to have all the junk cleaned out, but I was especially surprised the first time I used the dryer after having the vent cleaned. My drying time was cut by half!!! The built up lint had been preventing my dryer from getting real hot. It was truly amazing how much better my dryer worked...it was like having a new dryer!
