2 Green Chicks

I have had 2 Green Chicks cleaning my home for over two years. They have always done a great job and I wouldn't think of using another service. Amy, the owner, is flexible if I need to change cleaning days and they make life a lot easier for me to keep the house clean. Also, I like the fact that the house always smells clean after they have been here. The crews only use natural cleaning products and I think that is an added bonus to their work.

I have been using this provider for almost a year. They do excellent work. The girls are always on time (they come from Norman to N. OKC at 8am!) and they do a fantastic job. We have used many house keeping services over the years and none have been as thorough or as professional as 2 Green Chicks. We have a 2600+ sq ft home and they complete their work in just over 2 hours. The rate is by the hour, not by the job which makes it more expensive. I believe they charge $70 per hour. Since I run mulitple businesses I just don't have the time or energy to clean my own house and 2 Green Chicks does a much better job than anyone else I've tried. All of their cleaning products are natural and non-toxic which is great because I have 4 dogs and don't want chemicals around them. Or me! The house never smells like it's been "cleaned". It just smells fresh and natural. Any special task I ask the girls to do, they are happy to do it. Amy, the owner, came out herself for the initial consultation at my home. She was very professional, upbeat and clearly loves her business. I would highly recommend 2 Green Chicks.

The girls and boys that work there are all detailed and trained well. Nobody's perfect . But 2 Green Chicks is a perfect as you can get. Competitive green companies do not detail as much , so they might charge less. But I feel you get what you pay for and you get this with 2 Green Chicks. I have a feeling I will never be disappointed. I HIGHLY recommend, especially if you want your house cleaned amazing. They did all kinds of extra things I wouldn't even think about , like vacumming baseboard and under cabinit and also on top of doors each time the clean. They are polite and puncutial ! I LOVE THEM , couldnt imagine my life without 2 Green Chicks!!

When I contacted Amy to get the initial quote, she came out to our house and took notes as we walked through the rooms. She even wrote down the name of our dog. :) The chicks do a good job of cleaning, including kitchens and bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and changing bed linens. I like that they use environmentally friendly cleaning products, and they are always happy to move our cleaning to a different day/time if our schedule changes. They are also pet-friendly! Amy is very friendly and is dedicated to providing good service to her customers.

I thought that maybe we could work through the trouble spots but each time they cleaned it was a new crew and there was no communication from the manager to the workers on what we discussed and what need to be fixed. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

MOST EXPENSIVE AROUND QUALITY OF WORK FAIR VERY SLOW CONSIDERING THEY WERE CHARGING $35 PER PERSON($70-105 AN HOUR) WATCHED ONE WOMAN CLEAN A VERY SMALL GLASS TOP TABLE FOR 20 MINUTES. CREW WAS NICE AND POLITE AND PUNCTUAL DID NOT CLEAN UNDER FURNITURE OR BEDS AS ORIGINALLY REQUESTED WHEN HIRED

They were absolutely horrible in every category. They were ranked fairly high on Angie’s List. What they did was they leave you a little note at the end saying they’ll give you $10 off your next visit if you give them a good rating on Angie’s List. We let them clean our house like 3-4 times because I was hoping I’ll work with them and try them but the manager will just make excuses. They did it by the hour so they would go extremely slow and they were very expensive. They did lousy work. I would tell them to clean this and that. I would give them products to use and I told them to use Old English on the wood and then use this on the baseboard and they would do just the opposite of what I told them. They’re the worst cleaning service I have ever used. I would never recommend them. They were unresponsive.

They do a really good job. When issues arise they are always addressed, quickly and without questions.

Because I have my house cleaned once a month and Thanksgiving fell in the middle of two cleanings, I asked for an extra cleaning the Monday before Thanksgiving. Amy, the owner, was able to work me into her schedule. In addition to the regular cleaning, her crew made extra beds. I was very grateful for all!

My experience with 2 Green Chicks began very well. They were consistent on scheduling, billing, and sending the same crew. Then about 2-3 months ago, the schedule kept getting changed. At first, we were understanding. Then it became annoying. This was never corrected. Next was an incident of the house being cleaned very poorly. When we brought this to their attention they came up with multiple excuses that were bogus. How can you explain not cleaning showers and toilets or taking out the trash because the crew was afraid of our dogs? These scary dogs had been there since day one. If the dogs are an issue, why not let us know? Also, the dogs were in one room behind a gate. This room has no toilets, trash cans or showers! Then came the billing issues. The first statement took over 2 months to receive. I was given the explanation that they had the wrong email address. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Statements were somewhat consistent after that. Until, we had a billing dispute in November. I contacted the company and did not get a response for 3 days. Then, I was told someones husband had messed it up and that I would get a corrected statement the next day. Well I guess they meant next month. Now I had a bill for two months in excess of $1,100 dollars. Which I paid the day I received the statement. That brings us to the last straw. They cleaned one morning and when I arrived home that afternoon, I was locked out of the house. They locked a door that has never been locked. Yes, I should have had a key, but why do they start locking doors that have never been locked all the sudden? I feel that our relationship was not meant to be. Maybe, I am being a bit intolerant, but when you pay someone $105/hr you expect a level of consistency. Which I do not believe I received.

Amy, the owner, contacted me promptly after my inquiry via the Angie's List website. We arranged a date and time for her to assess my home and provide an estimate of the cost. She arrived on time, provided a thorough history of her company (which instantly put me at ease) and got to work taking notes about where, how and what I would like cleaned. She also explained her "green" cleaning methods. After her walk through, she gave me a "deep cleaning" price estimate and a bi-weekly "maintenance" estimate. The price seemed fair considering I knew how much work was ahead of the two woman crew. Amy was able to accommodate my time request. She assured me that her company was pet friendly but my own preference was to arrange the cleaning while the pups played at daycare just so they wouldn't be in the way. The deep clean was scheduled. The crew arrived on time. I knew this because they called due to a MINOR misunderstanding which was quickly remedied. When I arrived home that evening, I was instantly impressed. I don't think my house has ever looked this good. The floors were shiny, the counters spotless and the dog hair GONE. There was even a nice note and chocolates on the counter. THIS IS WHY YOU HIRE PROFESSIONALS. What Jamie and Melissa did in a matter of hours, I could not do in a weekend. Thank you two green chicks for making my house a home again.

Service personnel arrived on time, the work was thorough and professional.

They came to the home early. The crew of two went right to work staying focused on cleaning. They put me at ease with their profesionalism and dedication. They provided me with a service that I was reluctant to ask for because I have always did my own cleaning. Now in retirement I find there are times I need to ask for help. Amy who owns the compnay come by and looked over the house to see which services I had need of. She was told about the limitation I have on a fixed income and was willing to work on a scehdule that would allow me to maintain the service into the future.

One of the pair did not work. It was two people. And I had to call them back to finish the job and they charged me more for that callback.

Great. Missed a few spots, but a super job for first time.

On the second floor, they regularly clean the entry foyer (dust and vacuum); they clean the bathroom. They vacuum and dust the guest room and the office. Occasionally, they also change linens, and dust fans. They vacuum the blinds. They damp mop laminate and tile floors. They vacuum and mop all 3 levels of stairs. On the first floor, they vacuum and dust the entry, dining, master bedroom. They vacuum the window seats in the dining and master bedroom. They vacuum blinds. They clean the kitchen (wiping of counter tops and stove top; appliances; clean microwave) vacuum tile and mop tile floor; vacuum laminate and mop laminate floor in entry and dining; vacuum and mop tile in powder room and immediate foyer entry; on the staircases, on one level are decorative bookshelves with knick knacks (from around the world) and on the next level - Wall of Fame - with family pictures on a ledge - dust these. They use safe products and green products for the different items being dusted and cleaned including granite and solid surface and corian products. They regularly straighten bedside stands and the vanity bureau in master bedroom. The highboy and TV and satellite dish receiver. They vacuum the windowseats and the armchair. They wipe down the mirrors in the his/her vanities in the bathroom as well as clean toilet, shower and jetted tub. Vacuum and mop floors; wipe tile tops of vanities and around tub area. They clean the sink and toilet in the powder room and the mirror. Downstairs in the walk-out basement area - vacuum and mop stained concrete floors; clean bathroom including tub, sink, and toilet. Wipe counters and mirrors. Dust wine and cheese buffet. Dust leather furniture and end tables and coffee tables. I have an entire wall unit with books, collectibles and bric-a-brac - dust this, from floor to ceiling. Dust windowsills and blinds. Dust entertainment center, TV and miscellaneous electronics. They vacuum hallway and conservatory and "work closet - holds a beer making area and our upright and spare refrigerator and work sink. Occasionally, will water plants in conservatory. Mop entire area. Cobwebs throughout also addressed. Aromatherapy in bedrooms upon request. The staff is eager to please, diligent, honest and are hard workers. ABSOLUTELY NO HESITATION IN RECOMMENDING THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

In addition to quality of work, Jasmin and Jenny are very personable and friendly, as well as professional. They ask questions about exactly what you want cleaned, and follow instructions carefully. A joy to work with. I intend to have them on a regular basis. Can HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone.

It went very well. Kat found a dangerous situation in my shower and was able to make it safe.

I had a lovely experience with Cat and Melissa. They showed up on time; were well informed on their cleaning methods and products. They were respectful to the needs of my two cats (who were partly responsible for all the cat hair and dander). They were very dedicated and efficient. My bedroom in particular was a dust-bunny nightmare. Now, all the curves and ornate scrolling is free of lint and dust...and cat hair. They cleaned all the blinds in house, bathrooms sparkled. Items were rearranged artfully. They worked efficiently and thoroughly on my small three bedroom home. They vacuumed carpets, furniture; dusted ceiling fans and fixtures, plus tops of everything, including door and window frames. They used aromatherapy leaving a fresh calming scent. They were friendly and considerate and thorough. I'd never had my house cleaned by anyone, and I felt comfortable with them in my home. Amy, the owner of the company, came out to give me an estimate and it was right on. I look forward to using them again in the future.

They arrived on time, very nice and professional. Once the cleaning was complete the told my wife it was $280 instead of the $240 that we were quoted. We were told the fridge was going to be cleaned inside and out but only out was done. The blinds still had dust on them, we are yet to find a company that will take the time and do them properly. My wife found mud (our kids were playing in the mud the day before) still in our sink. Overall the house was clean, I guess I expected more for $280. I doubt we will use them again.

I started this service fall/2012 and I've been very pleased. I can always depend on them to arrive as scheduled with a great attitude and do a nice job. I work from home and they are wonderful at getting things done around me while I work. My house looks terrific when they are through.

The cleaning went great. It took them a little longer than I thought, , but I always underestimate how long it will take for me to clean so I'm not a good judge of time in that respect. Everything looked squeaky clean when I got home, the only thing they missed was polishing the wood cabinets in the kitchen (which I never specified anyway). I love that they use natural products, so I feel safe letting my son crawl all over the place and don't have to freak if I see him eating something he's dropped on the floor. A lovely company to work with!

Very well. I have used this service for a few years and find it exceptional. I am on a two-week rotating basis.

The chicks did a fantastic job. They cleaned everything we agreed upon and more. Once they were done, a Quality Control Manager visited to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We would recommend using 2 Green Chicks.
