JD's Welding

Description of Work: JD’s Welding aka Justin Dawson contracted to complete a metal home for the amount $23,050.00. It was agreed on December 21, 2015 that I pay him a $1000.00 down payment to get my name on a list to begin construction the middle of February. On December 28, 2015, I paid the remaining down payment of $4725.00. The contracted agreement is still pending and work has not been completed. I have paid $20,365.00 and $1000.00 of the contracted amount is still owed for materials. This leaves me owing the contractor $1685.00. He requested another draw and the bank declined this advance due to amount of work that has been completed. When I told him the bank declined the request, he stopped working and said he would not return for several weeks because he was prioritizing other jobs. During the course of this contract, the contractor has gone weeks at a time with no response to calls and texts. It is my desire that the contractor prioritize my project and complete it. I am a single mom that works two jobs and I feel that the contractor is manipulating the situation.
