Description of Work: Built custom wood cedar fence.

Description of Work: I called four fencing contractors with an A rating oAngie's List to give me a white to replace a section of my wood stockade fence that had been downed due to high winds. Two contractors came to my house to measure in a timely manner and sent me their estimates. Two others didn't come to my house, but provided estimates also based on info I provided. Since my neighbor and I were splitting the costs, we discussed my estimates as well as the estimates that he had obtained and decided to go with the lowest estimate which was from 12 Corners Fence Co. The utilities were marked and when I notified Jimmy, he asked me to pay for the fence materials in advance or said that I could go with him and pay for the materials myself. He explained that his last job had not been completed and that he had paid for all of the materials and with the holidays coming, he couldn't pay for the materials for my fence. I told him that no contractor, fencing or otherwise, had ever asked me to pay in advance and that gua request had made me very uncomfortable. I told Jimmy that I would discuss the situation with my neighbor and get back with him. When I informed my neighbor of Jimmy's request, he said that if a fencing contractor didn't have the funds to pay for materials prior to commencing in a job they had estimated, that he preferred not to use them. I contacted Jimmy the next morning and told him that we were going with another fence contractor.

Description of Work: Put up field fence and a gate. Did a great job! Looks awesome! Done in 2 days like he promised!

Description of Work: Extended my 4' chain link fence an additional 60 feet.

Description of Work: Repaired farm fence.

Description of Work: Gave an estimate for fencing two acres.

Description of Work: I have used them many times - first was for horse fencing using round posts with v-mesh wire and a top board and I couldn't have been more pleased. I already had most of the material used so the cost was basically labor only.The next time they replaced old chain link and removed existing barb wire on top and bottom and installed a barbless wire in its place. They also made fencing repairs after damaged by a tractor operator. They do excellent work and I plan to use them again once I finish some outdoor electrical and plumbing. I have used then for several years and I don't plan to use anyone else for my fencing needs. I am always pleased with their work. And they are wonderful if a change is requested or addtional work is needed - after all sometimes a woman changes her mind -.
