I had been noticing low water pressure for a while. Checked the pressure gauge and noticed the water pressure was at 20 lb. It should be between 40-60 lb. I shut off the water and replaced the gauge and pressure switch. This made no difference. Also noticed that the pump never shut off. Called Waterloo on Sunday and described my symptoms. He suggested that I had a leak between the pump and the house. He said he could come out that day and would charge me time and a half, or I could wait until Monday and pay the regular rate. Obviously I chose Monday. The well guy showed up on time, he and I discussed the situation, I told him everything I had noticed and done. He asked me to shut off the well's power, helped me move my wind mill and moved his truck into position and quickly started to pull the pump up. After about 60 feet of pipe he found the cracked pipe. Once he got the pump completely out of the well, checked the date on it and we discussed replacing it. It had been in place for 31 years, I decided to replace it while we had it up. He measured the water and well depth. He had a pump on the truck and expertly wired and assembled it and new pipe back into the well. He then verified the water pressure and adjusted the pressure switch, checked the air pressure in the tank. The whole process took about 2 hours, he was friendly and professional. He collected and disposed of all packing materials and used gear. All in all it was a good experience. I will recommend these guys to anyone who needs this kind of work.

We have a well and our water completely shut off. I feared that the submersible well had stopped functioning and looked on Angie's list for a repair service. I found Waterloo Pump and Supply since they were up north in Edmond and I live over in Piedmont. They answered the phone immediately and after taking down my address, informed me they would be dispatching someone out for service. When they arrived, they checked everything inside the garage where my pressure tank is and then went out to the well. They were very courteous and asked if they could back up in the front of my lawn to have access to the well. Once at the well, they brought up the wiring to the pump and found that it had split apart. The two techs spliced it back together very neat, with caps on each end and then lowered it back into the well. I asked if the pump looked ok and they said absolutely. After getting the wiring back into the well housing, they had me turn back on the breaker to see if the well came on and it did. After that, they put air back in my pressure tank and then we turned on several faucets both inside and out to cycle water through because they said there would be dirt. Prior to this, they bypassed my water softener as to not fill it up with grimy water. Once we ran the water long enough to filter out the dirt that had accumulated, they hooked back up my softener. My bill was only $165.00. I was blown away as these guys worked a good 1 1/2 to 2 hours on this. I was actually fearing I was going to have to replace the pump and lay down over $1000 for parts and labor. These gentlemen were extremely professional and immediately checked the wiring first as they said that was in all likelihood the culprit. I will use this company for any other issues going forward with my well and inside pressure pump and be sure to spread the good word around my neighborhood, Piedmont and my place of business about their service.
Description of Work: They repaired the electrical wiring to my water well that had caused my submersible tank to stop pumping therefore shutting off water to my house. Excellent Work!

Originally the service was unbelievably bad. The tech that came out actually broke my plumbing and told me I would have to get a plumber to repair it which I did. When he left the pump system problems were not resolved at all. He also told me it would cost an additional $200 for him to remove my old waterlogged pressure tank from my basement and left it for me to worry about I initially left a scathing review for them but after telling the the people at Waterloo pump about this on Monday when they opened for business, the owner came out himself. He apologized for the behavior of the previous tech and assured me he would be talked to about it. He set my system properly and removed my old tank. Doyle (the owner) is a great guy who really knows his stuff. For me, stepping up and correcting a problem counts for a lot so I have raised their marks to A's and will probably be a life long customer.

Emailed, called. 2 weeks later a response, told they didn't check email often....came out gave estimate and said they would send a digger with another estimate, THEN to my surprise another estimate for a dump truck! We just wanted a estimate to put in well on our existing property. I have no idea on their quality of work.
Description of Work: Looking for an estimate to put in a well in an existing home site.

I should have known from the moment I called when the person answering the phone sighed when I asked if someone could take a look at my well pump. The response I got was and quot;and lt;sighand gt;, well it will be a few days.and quot; Based on her tone, I should have hung up and called someone else, but I persisted. I explained that I was not without water and it was okay if I needed to wait a few days. I left her my cell phone number and confirmed that someone would be contacting me shortly via phone. That was four and a half weeks ago. No one ever called back. It seems this is a common occurrence these days with so many businesses. I didn't bother calling them back but instead called one of their competitors who spent nearly 20 minutes talking to me on the phone. Most of our neighbors have had new wells drilled in recent months due to a drop in the water table. After discussing with them, it was confirmed what I suspected; I needed a new (much deeper) well. I will be writing a review for them after they complete the work next week. I'm glad I didn't spend any money with Waterloo Pump and Supply but instead will be spending it with a company that appreciates the business.
Description of Work: Never called back; no work performed.

We called at approximately 8:15 AM to schedule appointment. They called to say they were on their way at 9:57 AM. They first checked our pump control before doing anything else and discovered a faulty capaciter. They quickly replaced the part, charged our water pressure tank, gave us a little inservice on how to drain the water pressure tank ourselves, and we had water by 10:35. We were prepared to purchase a new water pump - it's nice to be able have people work on your home who are trustworthy.
Description of Work: No water to house in the morning when we woke convinced us that our 14-year-old water well pump was out. We were pleasantly surprised to learn it was only a faulty item (capaciter) in the control box. We have used Waterloo Pump and Supply for years. They came out within 2 1/2 hours of being called, quickly diagnosed the problem, and we have water - all before 11:00 am. We were prepared to replace the pump, so it was nice to only pay $132.

Overall the experience went smooth..They guys showed up when they were supposed to and like I said..were very efficient in their work! I was very pleased...we've been using our well water for a year now for our garden and yard....a real money saver!
Description of Work: Our electric water well pump had not been working for a few years. They were able to determine a well piping problem and repair it at a very reasonable cost. They were friendly yet professional and very efficient. I would definitely recommend and also use them again!

They are my regular people that come and do my job. I've used them on a regular basis. I've used several others but they are the ones that I go back to. They've been able to come out for emergencies on weekends and on holidays. They are usually here within thirty minutes if it's an emergency situation that needs immediate attention. If it's something that can wait, then they try to finish their job and get over here. They are just really reliable. They are available if it's an emergency. They are very busy and so they do ask about the situation. If it's not an emergency then you will have to wait because it's something that can wait. It's usually about $35 to $40 an hour and they get in here, get it done and then get out of here. They are pretty quick and very reasonable. I will use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Waterloo Road Pump & Supply for plumbing services. I last used their services probably around December of 2010. I have a water well and there's always something going wrong with it. So they come out and fix it.
