The job went well. They did a good job.

Weatherization Experts were truly experts. They were professional in every way. They called before they came and arrived on time ready to install the insulation. They were efficient and went about their work without delay. When they were finished, they cleaned up the garage and any other areas that they had worked in. It was amazing to see and feel the difference the insulation made. We have had some cold nights and mornings since the install and the house is quite nice and warm. We have a historical home that needed additional insulation and Weatherization knew just what to do and how to do it. They answered all of our questions and explained every detail. They were flexible in scheduling and worked around our schedule and the Thanksgiving Holiday. There were no hidden expenses and the bill was exactly as estimated. We would highly recommend them and we are happy to be a customer of theirs and will recommend them to anyone.

From the first phone call for an estimate they were very prompt and professional and very easy to talk to and answered all questions, explained everything more than 1 time; they were here when the said and cleaned up every area inside and out. Would recommend them.

Bottom line is Todd Cox, Miles and the others at Weatherization Experts know what they are doing and deliver service beyond expectations. After my initial phone call to inquire about an estimate, Miles came to my home within a couple of days to do an inspection and explain where my home needed improving. The work was completed as scheduled and in a professional manner. The crew arrived on time and worked until the job was done. Miles and Todd returned a couple of days later to do a couple of additional things I requested beyond the initial agreement. Now that the weather has turned cooler, we can already feel the increased comfort of our home. It's my pleasure to highly recommend Weatherization Experts. Update 07/21/2011 The outside temperature has been in the 100 degree range for many days and our house is definitely a LOT cooler this summer after having the work done by Weatherization Experts last fall.

The total group was wonderful. Miles came and measured. Three young men did the majority of the work and were very professional and thoughtful. Todd and Miles came and put in the attic access door. They all arrived on time and called before to let me know they were coming.

Miles came a day or two after I called and did a thorough (1.5-hour) inspection of the attic. (He even found a remotely located recessed light that I forgot about.) He also used a heat-detector gun to find hot spots. He explained everything thoroughly and completely to my satisfaction. Detailed estimate came within hours via email, as requested. Work was done the next week exactly on time. Crew was polite, quiet, extremely neat and efficient. They found & fixed for no charge a problem with my drier vent that wasn't in the estimate. They provided a tax-credit certificate. They used cellulose insulation. I could not be happier working with these fine people.

I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. We live in 2-story, 70 year old home, which had very little insulation in the second level. Summers in Oklahoma are hot and our air conditioner would run non-stop trying to keep the upstairs cool. These gentlemen came in and over a very pleasant three day period provided us with complete insulation. The very night they left we noticed an amazing improvement in the temperature and feel of the upstairs; it felt like a house and not an attic. I also was really impressed with how I was constantly kept informed of daily progress and was even presented with a form that will helps us claim an energy tax credit. This company and the people that work for it have an integrity that is often missing these days. Wonderful experience, job expertly done and amazing customer service.

Todd Cox came out and did thermal digital scanning of the house first to determine cold areas in our house. He then went up in our attic and surveyed the existing insulation. A date and time was set to come out to do the insulation. His crew showed up on time and they worked VERY hard to get the job done. His crew had some equipment problems because of the extremely cold weather, but they were able to get the job done. His crew did a great job under the circumstances. I feel confident that our house is now insulated as good as it can be and feel the price was reasonable.

I am pleased with the new insulation and I think it will cut down on my bills. (Todd Cox) Worked personally with me and answered all my questions. Weatherization Experts delivered on everything they had promised.

Work was done at time promised, materials and labor. Clean up was wonderful. Friendly. I would certainly recommend this company. It was also advantage that owner experienced as a fire fighter. Made material selection safer.

We had put up with excessive heat in our 3 upstairs rooms for too long, especially considering we had more than enough central air capacity to cool it. I read favorable reports on Angie's List for Insulation Experts and decided to give them a call. The company is now called Weatherization Experts. I highly recommend them. It was a very good experience from beginning to end. Todd Cox, the owner, came out to the house and gave us a thorough estimate. He used a thermal imager to show us exactly where the hot spots were in the house. It was amazing to see how many areas were either under-insulated or not insulated at all in a home built in 1988. This guy knows what he's doing. The crew did the work exactly as proposed over the course of two days. They were professional and cleaned up their work areas very well. They even added flooring in an attic area to create storage space for us without charging extra for it. It didn't take long for us to realize what a big difference the added insulation, done the correct way, made in the comfort level of the house, especially the upstairs rooms. We're extremely glad we had the work done and that we picked Insulation Experts to do the job.

During the estimate visit the owner gave information on cellulose information verified by a internet search on University Massachusettes Building Materials and Wood Technologies site on "Cellulose Insulation" (great article). The only question I had was the warning about the word "nominal" used; when owner read article he agreed stating that the estimate took care of that with the wording "minimal density " I have a very complicated and crowded attic. The owner crawled into the attic during the estimate visit (unlike others that just shone a flashlight around from the top of the ladder). The workmen spent 6 hours preparing the attic before blowing the insulation with soffit blocking, attic sealing of registers and duct openings. This has resulted in a much more comfortable house in this 100 degree weather we are having now and also with the colder weather earlier. I waited to submit this report to experience this season. My air conditioner runs much less.
