I couldn't know the details as they were doing the job in the attic.

The first meeting was standard, they took pictures and infrared. They were very polite. We have one room that is especially concerning to use with heat and cold difference from rest of house. They helped us determine what actions to take. I was not there for the first meeting and had concerns that the estimate did not specifically address our concerns. The owner and his sales guy came out on a Saturday afternoon (game day too) and spent 30 minutes talking through our concerns and how to address. We scheduled the work and it was completed in about 4 hours. The guys were professional and efficient. Everyone was very polite. The room we were really concerned about got extremely cold with the first cold wave. The owner and sales guy came back and spent another 30 minutes talking about options. What we need to do isn't something they work on - but the good news is that the room is actually only a 5 degree difference now, rather than 10+ degrees difference from the rest of the house. We haven't seen the cost savings yet but anticipate we will see some changes this winter.

All the way along, we were treated with the greatest courtesy and professionalism by the managers. We made and appointment for the work to be done. The workmen were very professional and hard-working. They arrived on time and performed the job in less time than was estimated. They took great care not to clutter the house with insulation materials, dust or dirt. In fact, they covered carpeted areas where they were working, and vacuumed to assure there was nothing dirty or out-of-place as a result of their work. They left our home neater than when they arrived. Since the day of insulation, we have consulted the managers on a couple of issues, and they were very responsive. Preliminarily, it appears that their work will result in considerable savings in our heating and cooling. We will not know that until later. However, we believe we made a sound investment.

I decided that I couldn't afford there services at the time, but I would keep them in mind.

Great company to deal with. Provided a free inspection and estimate then followed through with prompt scheduling of service. Workers showed up on time and did very high-quality work. They even came out a second time to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. Couldn't be happier and would highly recommend them to anyone.

The job so far has been good...I have noticed my house to be cooler this summer but the real test will be this winter when the house needs heating as this was the reason I had the job completed. As stated before Weatherization Experts are very professional and I will be contacting them to complete the second part of the job.

Todd and Miles came out for the initial inspection.Showed me where there were uninsulated spots in the attic.Made recommendations to fix the problem.Showed me pictures from attic as well as thermal scan.Emailed me pictures as well as the proposal for the cost to fix. Crew showed up on time and did an excellent job. A/C no longer runs constantly. Can really notice a difference. Would recommend them to anybody..Outstanding.Best money I have paid for a home improvement!

They did that I think last fall and it went into the winter. It was not something you take in and out. I did not do their full weatherization package. I paid them $900 which was the agreed upon price. They did the work, and I did not have any problems or anything like that. The only thing is I came across our OG&E which is our electric company audit. They had been done actually two year ago which was done previous to their work. The audit said I did not need any work done. I had forgotten about it because it has been quite a little while back, and I was not paying good attention. I should have. Weatherization Experts said I had a lot of problems, and OG&E said I did not have. I do not know who to believe. I suppose they were honest with me. I am not disputing their honesty. I just spent $900 and I do not know if I spent it for anything or not. I do notice a little difference in the comfort of my house, but I do not notice if it is a $900 worth. They did the service in the coupon, and I thought they were going to apply the $99 big deal to my bill, but they 2:20-2:24 which was larger. So, I had to pay the $99 plus the $900 something. I am not trying to criticize them. I am just saying what I did. When I bought it, they said that that would be applied to whatever work I had done, but they did not apply it to whatever work I had done. They gave me a discount that was much larger. I think I got well over $200 off the price of the original. I am not unhappy with what they did. 3:51-3:54. They showed me pictures that they took in my attic that showed I had a lot of leak in various lengths. I did not dispute that because my house is not a real comfortable house. I think it has helped a little bit. The fact is, I came across that OG&E audit so months after I had the work done, and it said I did not really need any follow up to their audit. It says that whatever is up there was so minor. They showed me pictures of somebody’s attic that showed a lot of leak. I do not know. OG&E could have been wrong too. The overall experience was okay. The owner and his helper came out, did the scans in the attic, showed me the pictures of what they saw up there, and they said I needed some ceiling on my ducts. There were some places that really needed having some insulation, but it was not blown in. They did that and I paid them $99. They made an appointment to come back and do that work, the ceiling and the ducts, and all that sort of stuff. That was all done in then days. They just had two different service calls and two different charges. The $99 was upfront and the rest was paid upon the completion of the work. They recommended putting in a lot of blown in insulation and I told them I just could not afford to do that. I just did not want to put in $1,000 of insulation. I had already put in a whole lot of insulation over a period of time. I let them do the odd ball work. I do not know what kind of insulation they used if it was rigid or rolled insulation, but it was not blown in. It is not the insulation that you put on the floor of your attic. It was stuff that goes up against the walls or wherever that they stem leaks in that nature. I received value for money paid. I assumed they did the work. They were buried in the attic for the whole morning. They were very responsive.

Arrived on time, did a masterful job of maneuvering large truck into our newly repaired driveway, worked hard with only short breaks, communicated clearly and finished when promised. This is a first class crew and the owners are extremely helpful. A minor problem after installation which was our fault was fixed promptly at no charge. I can't say enough good things about this company!

Weatherization Experts were recommended to us by a co-worker. We have a 7500 square foot custom built home. We asked them to come out and take a look and see what they could do to help lower our heating and cooling costs. They came out spent about 1 1/2 hours looking around, taking pictures, and taking Thermal Images. We were told that they would take these photos and images, and a set of our house plans, and they would return with a plan of action and a bid. We gave them the only set of plans that we had and made sure they knew this was the only set. My Father was the home builder and architect and he had since passed away and there was no way to get another copy. We heard nothing back. After several weeks, we contacted them and left messages. A couple of weeks went by and they contacted us and said that they had moved offices and had been busy but they would get back with us. More time went by, we finally contacted them and asked for them to just return our house plans. They informed us that the reason this had taken so long is that they could not locate our plans, but they had just moved and they were still looking. We re-iterated that they needed to locate our plans as this was the only set and it was impossible to produce another. Again weeks went by and we finally received an e-mail stating that they could not locate our plans but they don't believe that we ever gave the plans to them.

It went very well. We had this sort of service done in our house in Texas and it made a big difference so we decided to do it in OKC as well. We're glad we did. The insulation another company had performed a few years ago wasn't evenly distributed, but Todd Cox and his team got that fixed and finished a very professional job. Todd is a retired firefighter and he brings that level of professionalism and dedication to this work. We highly recommend Weatherization Experts, even though Weatherization is hard for me to say.

I am not sure if he checked the ducts, but he tried to sell me insulation for it. The guy was real nice, but it was a sales technique to try and sell insulation.

I researched insulation companies on Angie's List. I liked the reviews for Weatherization Experts. I called them and left a voicemail message. Todd, the owner, returned my call within 15 minutes and setup an appointment for that afternoon. Todd and his associate Miles arrived on time and we discussed the job. Miles did an attic inspection, while Todd and I did an interior heat survey with his thermo image scanner. We all met and reviewed Miles' attic photos with the thermo reader images. I had been in the attic the day before and knew where some of the problem areas were, both the photos and thermo images confirmed what I had seen. They showed both photos and thermo scans where the wind had blown all the insulation away from the eve suffit vents and that there was no insulation around the recessed lighting and some of the air/heat vents. They estimated my attic insulation at about R19 (it was about 6-10 inches thick) and suggested that they could get the attic to about R50. They also suggested insulation boxes over the recessed lighting, suffit vent ducts for the wind problem and foam board dams to keep the insulation in-place in some of the problem areas. They emailed me an estimate along with the attic photos and thermo images within 24 hours. I agreed to the job and they scheduled the job for the following week. The crew arrived as scheduled, along with both Todd and Miles, who reviewed the job with the crew and myself. The job took about 4 hours. The crew was great and cleaned up after themselves. The crew took photos during and after the job was complete, which were also emailed to me the same day. Both Todd and Miles returned at the end of the job to look things over. The attic insulation looks great, uniformly thick with full coverage (now about 18-24 inches). I am very happy with the results. My house has never been more uniformly comfortable. I no longer have warmer and cooler areas in the house which is about 4000 sq. ft. I had been having difficulty keeping the upstairs cool, now it stays cool and the upstairs AC unit runs only a fraction of the time it did prior to the insulation job. I anticipate lower utility bills. I high recommend Weatherization Experts.

Since our home was built in 1999, we have always had a hard time cooling and heating the home as well as high utility bills. In looking in the attic recently we noticed we had some insulation batting starting to come down where our ceiling height increases. We called Weatherization Experts and Miles and Todd the owner came out personally and performed a complete inspection of the attic and went thru the home with thermal imaging. After providing pictures of many problematic areas in the attic and reviewing the interior thermal images, we could clearly see why our home was not being cooled and or heated properly. We had duct work that was disconnected and or sealed poorly, hot walls that were never insulated and many other issues of concern. Weatherization Experts provided a bid to address all areas of concern without having to hire multiple contractors to resolve these issues. We found their bid very reasonable and were excited to get the work performed. The staff arrived promptly to perform the work which included soffit blocking, adding foam board to prevent insulation spillage at ceiling height changes, attic seal of all areas that could prevent air from the attic entering into the home, duct repair including sealing all duct returns and supplies, reengineering duct supplies that were under engineered by the home builder, and added 8" (R-30) Xcell Stabilized Cellulose Insulation which includes a lifetime warranty bringing our original 5” (R-19) Installation up to an (R-49) rating. Due to the work they performed we qualified with our local utility provided to receive a $500.00 rebate on the work that was performed. After the work was performed, we noticed an immediate comfort change in our home. Our AC unit did not run as much and the temperature in the home stayed at a comfortable level for longer. We did notice that the far side of the home had a slightly different comfort level so Miles and Todd again came out personally to address the issue. They quickly noticed that we had insufficient and under engineered return airflow. While this was not their specialty, they were able identify and advise us and contacted a heating and air company to verify their findings. We then used our own HVAC provider to add additional return air to the home and surprisingly we were given the same information by our HVAC provider. This really made us feel that Weatherization Experts really knows what they are doing in this field and would not hesitate to refer them to our friends and neighbors.

Some bid items were already installed in our house. Promised pictures from inspection were never received. After submitting this review we received a full refund and the pictures.

They were very professional. They provided a complete report from my attic and within the house on the locations of energy loss due to misplaced insulation or the lack of insulation. They were very nice and the pictures of my home completely shocked me as to where all there were problems. I really appreciated the information they provided.

We haven't had the work done by Weatherization Experts Inc yet because it is a lot of money. They came on a bad day because the temperature inside the house was about the same as outside, but if they would have come this week, I am sure they would have found better stuff because it is really hot out today. They looked around with the thermal camera but they didn't find a whole lot and they suggested some additional insulation and things like that.

They were very thorough and knowledgeable. They went into the attic and took a million pictures of the ductwork and the insulation of the attic. They came downstairs and told me what needed some attention in terms of insulation and that they have to take apart the duckwork, put it back together, and seal it up to increase the insulation in the attic so that it was not using air anywhere. They were willing to do it in segments so that it wasn't a whole house expedition and a lot of money at one time. If I were going to do it, I would use them.

Installation went well. They showed up on time and completed the job in less than a day. We had no insulation to begin with so they were able to just perform an install without cleaning out existing insulation. We were very satisfied with results. Cellulose insulation works very well!

They were great, informative and professional.

Some communication problems lead to them missing the first appointment. An apology was given immediately by owner upon him finding out about the miscommunication. A new appointment was made and he offered to make it right on future services. Work was performed as promised. Additional work was offered to correct problems found during the inspection. Overall experience was good.

Todd came out and was very professional and nice. He spent a lot of time walking thru things and explaining findings. They provided a detailed report the next week explaining the findings and recommendations. Ended up being an estimated cost over $3,500 was seemed too high. However, Todd indicated they could do the work or would advise me how to if I wanted to do work to save cost. Seem like a solid company and I would recommend.

The crew is very professional. They put up with my "yappy" little dogs and cleaned up every day. We can really tell the difference in the comfort level within the house and appear to already have significant energy savings as well. Great job!
