I called him on a Friday afternoon and he got back with me that day. He planned to make it out but didn't that evening, so he came out Saturday morning -there was no extra charge. He knew what he was doing and was done in an hour. He was reasonably priced. I called someone else who didn't get back with me until Monday so, I appreciate him getting out when he did. He explained what he was doing and answered any questions I had. He was efficient and helped me move the pressure pump to a better position.

Mike was extremely professional and knowledgeable during our interaction and correctly diagnosed and repaired an ongoing low pressure condition with our well. Because of my impressions of his capabilities and work ethic, we are planning to use his services again in the not too distant future to replace an older pressure tank. I, without hesitation, very highly recommend his services.

On Fri. Morning we had no water and called Stella Pump. Stella Pump was extremely professional and helpful, even came out on Saturday to get us water. When called they first said check the Capacitor as that is most often the trouble and are inexpensive. We purchased a new capacitor and installed it but it did not fix the problem. We then called and made the appointment. When the pump was pulled a broken wire was found to be the problem and were told the pump was still working but was 13 years old. The service charge for pulling eh 240 foot deep pump, repairing the wire and reinstalling the pump would be 200 dollars which we felt was really reasonable. We made the decision to install a new pump for the original bid of 800 dollars rather than take a chance on an old pump and complete redo. It was very nice to do business with a company that would suggest a fix for free rather than making a service call to do the same thing.

I can't say enough how much we appreciated his quick diagnosis and saving us from a larger expense. We fully expected it would be a pump since ours is very old or, at the very least, a crack in the tubing. It didn't take long for him to get us back up and running, and we will definitely recommend this company and will call them when the old pump does quit on us.

I decided to change out my old 35g pressure tank for a larger one. Mike installed the 35g tank about 20 years ago. I had him do some relocation at the same time to clean up the well closet. He used PEX for the install and it looks and works great. I've used Stella for over 20 years and they never let me down.

We have acidic water in our area so a neutralizer is a must to prevent damage to copper pipes and appliances. I tested the water after the recharge and the ph was 7.09 which is great.

Saturday night at about 10 pm the well pump stopped working. I live in a rural area and the pump provides the only water supply. I checked everything I could and I was afraid I would have to replace the pump at a cost of several thousand dollars. I called several places that advertised on Angie's List that they provided 24 hour emergency services. Only two of them called back - one said he couldn't do a pump as large as mine and the other was Stella. He said he was busy but would come around noon on Sunday. He showed up and analyzed the problem - a blown capacitor caused by low pressure in the pump bladder. He explained everything clearly, replaced the capacitor, and showed me how to maintain the pressure in the bladder - I had been doing it incorrectly. I was back in business. The price was very reasonable; the service was quick and thorough. I will use Stella again.

x(They were absolutely GREAT. We had an electric line run underground and when it was reconnected our pump didn't work. Our electrician said it was an issue with the pump, possible relay. One of my other contractors (Davis Cement) recommended Stella, saying they were good people and did great work. When I called Stella Pump we had an appointment for the net day and they were there a little early, check it out, pulled the pump. They did have to come out the next day to replace the actual pump and had it up and running. Could not ask for better people, better completion of their work (even with me asking questions cause I have never had a well before) and better pricing. Great job.
