Doug's Appliance Repair

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I don't want to replace my old workhorse washer and dryer because I've heard so many horror stories about the new water-saver machines so I got Doug's name from a friend in Yukon. Doug's company is in Mustang but they travel all over the OKC area and had no problem coming out and arriving on time, each time or his employee were here. My machine problems were pretty extensive and the repairman had to come out a total of three times to get everything fixed (some of the parts required a special trip because my machines are pretty old and don't use standard parts). After the job was done Doug and his repairman needed to come out again to fix a minor problem that cropped up after they'd finished, but they refused to let me give them any money for this last trip. All the work was completed for LESS than the original estimate which I had approved. And the total was a tiny fraction of what I would have paid for even just one new machine!!! I've been using the machines weekly in the year since they were fixed, and both machines work perfectly. Doug and his employees do excellent work and I highly, HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs their appliances repaired.

Doug came out, diagnosed the problem within minutes and then provided me with a quote for replacing the fan. He ordered the part and it arrived a few days later. We then scheduled an appointment for the install. So far, the over works great and is so much quieter.

He was in and out within 10 minutes and the dryer is working great.

Badly. When I called to schedule an appointment, I first asked if they service GE refrigerators. The woman said yes and scheduled us for the next day from 1-3. At 3, I'd not heard from or seen anyone. He finally showed up at 3:30. He looked at the refrigerator for about 5-10 minutes, mentioned a part he thought was the problem, and then told me I'd have to call GE because he doesn't service that model. He literally said that and "sorry" and walked out the door. Why didn't he say that as soon as he realized the model? When I talked to GE the day before, it would take 24-48 hours before they could call to schedule an emergency service call. Now, GE can't get to us for another 5 days! The woman at Doug's should've told me they couldn't service the refrigerator (still not believing that) and saved me all that time. I could've already had it repaired if I'd stuck with the original GE date. I guess that's what I get for trying to use someone local to get it done sooner.

Did not even respond back with me to schedule an appointment.

Sent in the request by email Sunday. Received a call Monday morning. Asked for all details regarding dryer so they would have the parts. Arrived on time. Door completely fixed Very professional

Jerry stopped by to a**** the problem and it took a week for the part to come in. Doug the owner of the company promptly scheduled and repaired the malfunctioning water filtration system. He was professional and I would recommend him to anyone.

Arrived late. Went to work promptly. Verified my washer and dryer were in good working order and replaced several missing screws and small mounts. Then connected the washer and dryer both to the house outlets and ran full tests. Was very efficient and professional except for being late.

The reviews I read suggested that Doug's did great work but sometimes ran a little late which I could live with to get the job done right. I called to make an appointment for the next day. The technician diagnosed and replaced the Ice Make quickly and I was back to work in no time. I would certainly use Doug's Appliance in the future.

Their service was good. Nothing really stood out although I was not here when the service was done. My husband took care of it. The guy was nice and they did not do a whole lot. They got out here the same day we called.

They were good and they’re referred by Lowe's for a repair. They were just friendly, did a good job and they're straightforward.

Doug was polite, timely and knowledgeable. I got the $59 Angies List service special and then was charged an additional $45. Price seemed fair but I would not call it a special or deal. I will definitely use Doug in the future on any appliance service call.

My Whirlpool oven is approx. 10 years old. Doug found a new control board even though they are getting hard to find replacements. He did a great job as usual. I have previously used Doug twice to repair my Whirlpool Duet dryer over a 2 year period. He also cleaned the dryer vent that runs up thru the roof. He is very honest and his prices are good.

He was good. I would use them again in the future.

They were very, very good. He came out almost a year ago. He fixed my washing machine and when he was here we told him we were having a problem with our refrigerator, and he went ahead and took the time and stayed and fixed it too. He was very nice. We would use him again. It cost about a hundred and thirty to fix both appliances.

I have used Dough in the past. And like most other times he is usually late on his appointments. He did okay work but I thought his price was a lttle high.

Replaced something on my maytag washer. He came out, looked at it, knew what the problem was, ordered the part and came out the next day and replaced it

Very well. Doug arrived got right to work. Cleaned up any mess.

Our front loading dryer was making a screeching noise. Doug showed up on time and went right to work. He resolved the problem and then asked about our washing machine, my husband had mentioned to him that it had been making a noise too, I told him that it was fine that it wasn't making the noise anymore. He said that he would check the pump because sometimes items would get caught in the the pump and cause a noise to appear. He took the pump off and there was a lot of screws and other debris caught in it (even a 5 dollar bill! ) my lucky day! Doug is a very nice man, very honest, and charges a very reasonable rate. We have used him several times and would definitely use him again!

The day my machine was scheduled to be repaired, no one showed up within the scheduled two-hour time frame, nor did I receive any kind of notice that they were running behind. I had trouble getting through, but finally spoke to Doug. He said his man was running late and would be there in about an hour (at this point it was 30 minutes after the original window of time). I had taken a half-day off work for this and couldn't afford to miss any more work, so I told him that would not work. After some discussion, we agreed that they would come back sometime after 6 that evening. To his credit, Doug showed up himself shortly after 6. He found the problem but didn't have the part and would have to come back another time to complete the repair. A few days later he came back to install the part. He was actually early, and I felt he did a great job. Unfortunately, during the repair I don't think Doug put the drain hose back in very well--two days later it pulled out of the drain and ended up flooding our laundry room, hallway, and adjacent closets. I wasn't thrilled that this happened, and I also wasn't thrilled with the initial communication/lateness. However, the washing machine has been working like a champ since then, so I can't be too disappointed. Doug was pleasant to work with, and the price was decent as well.

Our front-loading washer had been rattling very hard during the spin cycle, so we thought the drum was off. A technician came out and checked it out thoroughly. When he couldn't find a problem, he didn't even charge us for the call! We've decided the washer shakes because the pedestal it is on is uneven. Will definitely call again when we need help.
