Mel and his crew did a variety of jobs (trees trimmed, mulched and cleaned flower beds, hauled off junk and down limbs, repaired our lawn mower) for us and completed them all wonderfully in a timely manner. He and his crew were dependable, had reasonable prices, and did a great job. We called for help with out lawn mower and then kept finding more jobs that Mel could do. Very happy with the work they did for us!

Mel and his crew arrived promptly when he said that he would and took care of business swiftly and efficiently. He also provided extremely helpful information as to how we could help beautify our lawn area. We would definitely use them again.

I contacted Mr Mickey and he was out to provide an estimate within a couple of days. They removed the damaged parts of the tree and trimmed it up so it would grow back look good. They also cleaned up the leaves and debris in the yard and removed them.The work was done in a timely and very professional manner. I plan to have them back in the spring to seed or sod under the tree. I would definitely recommend them.

He was the only provider that we called that was willing to come right away after the ice storm. Even though he had several emergencies while he was working for us he was able to finish our job in a timely fashion. He did all we asked and hauled away all the debris.

Mickey came out when I was having a hard time finding anyone to do the work (during last ice storm). He was very polite, accomplished his work in a very professional way, and provided fair pricing for the work that was done. Overall I would recommend him as a quality contractor.

Mickey's Lawn Care did a great job clearing debris left from the ice storm. He kept in contact with us from our first call to him, and called to update us on when he would arrive for the estimate and for the actual work. He arrived on time and completed the job promptly and professionally. We would definitely recommend him and plan to use him again for any tree trimming that we need.

Mickey's Lawn Care removed a very large Bradford Pear Tree(approximately 25 to 30 ft high.) that had broken at the trunk and because of the way Bradford pear trees grow there are multiple trunks coming out of the stump, part fell across my neighbors property covering his car. The other trunks fell on top of my house, while one large trunk fell down my retaining wall into a creek behind my house(very deep). They did the work very professionally, were courteous, completed the job quickly, and were reasonably priced for the job. I plan to use them in the future for other lawn care work and would recommend them to others for anything lawn maintenance.

He responded to my phone call almost immediately. I told him over the phone what I needed to have done. He went by my property, estimated the work and got back with me promptly. He came with a crew of 3 men. He tends to be a perfectionist and far surpassed what I had asked him to do. After doing all the things I asked him to do, he mowed the lawn and trimmed all edges. All brush, branches, a great big plastic container and an old rusted push lawnmower were removed. My lawn looks fantastic. The hedges he trimmed are immaculate and trimmed to the height I had asked for. I was treated with respect and professionalism by all the workers. It was a good experience. It is late fall now and I do intend to ask him to do my lawn care come spring.

I contacted Mickey through Angie's list to come out and mow and edge my front and backyard because my last guy decided that he couldn't come out to mow my yard any longer. My backyard was probably about knee height so it would no doubt be a job, but I am allergic to grass and my husband is wheelchair bound so I had to have someone come and do it. Mickey told me he would be out in a few days to give me an estimate which he did and he told me $65. Great so he told me he would be out the after the Columbus holiday which would have been the Tuesday, Oct. 13th and that he would be there before noon . I let him know that there would be no one home at the time and asked where do I leave payment for him. Thought that was good enough to know that this was a set appointment. Well, Tuesday came and he never showed. I guess he had called my cell to verify that we still needed it mowed but I don't have cell service where I work. When I discovered he didn't come out to mow I contacted him and he said well I guess I will try again on Friday. It had then been over a week since the first conversation. I then found someone who came out same day from across the city to take care of it. Just not happy with how it was handled.

Mickey was responsive very quickly and met me for an estimate. I never felt pressured, and he gave me suggestions on things I could do myself instead of asking him to do so I could save money. Mickey then scheduled the service, and he and his crew were on time and performed the work just like I asked.

I've called numerous people for contract work and will only be using Mel for any of my landscape needs.

I have utilized Mel for multiple services over the last several years. Clean up of flower beds, removal of limbs, rock work and other types of lawn/landscaping needs. He's always been prompt to respond to the request for a quote and when we have decided what was to be done - always there when he has indicated he will be there. He's been here with Sherry, his wife. He's been here with other crew members. He has always ensured that the utmost of professionalism be carried out when completing a job he has taken on. He's polite and asks numerous times if the job is progressing as promised or if there are concerns to be addressed. He is very serious about making sure complete satisfaction is had. His motto appears to be "If you're not happy, I'm not happy - so gotta make sure you're happy." I had contacted him about future removal of greenbrier. He was ready to come over immediately to assess and bid; I was not needing immediate assistance and indicated I was merely checking to see if this was something he could do. And if so, I would follow up when ready to proceed. There is no doubt whatsoever that when we are ready to get this done - it will be done to my complete satisfaction for a fair price. I'm grateful for service providers such as Mel. Great work ethic.

He came out to do an estimate and stated that I had to pay upfront for the services that he provided and that I would need 6 cubic feet of dirt. I felt like the estimate was not factual when the place down the street was much more less expensive than what he was quoting me.
