Description of Work: The contract that Mickley wrote said, "supplies and labor to level lawn" for $2789.66. He did partially level the lawn but then said the quote was only for a certain amount of dirt so he couldn't level all of it. Obviously, I'm not going to know how much dirt he would need and the contract said "supplies to level lawn" so that means he would provide however much dirt he needed to do the job. I wish that I could attach a picture of his quote. He originally said that the job would take a week, then it went down to 2-3 days. Well, they were "finished" and gone in less than a day...to level a lot that totals 1/2 acre. He said that it was because he hired more people. While this may be true, I can't imagine that the job would go from a week to less than a day and cost almost $3,000.00. The day after we paid him, I found several low spots in the yard. I called to see when he would come back so I could show him the low spots. He asked me to mark where the spots were so I bought flags and marked all of the spots. I will admit that this conversation got heated when I was told he wasn't going to buy any more dirt. He wife started asking me if they were new spots that had appeared (I called him within 24 hours of the job being "completed" so no, they did not appear overnight). She has never seen my yard nor had I ever spoken to her before I called him (he answered on speaker phone). She knew nothing about the job but preceded to accuse me of things while they were on bluetooth or speaker phone. He said I was disrespectful to his wife because I questioned her getting in on the conversation even though she had no knowledge of the job. He is extrememly unprofesstional and a thief. He told me that he would no longer speak to me but would speak to my husband. He promised to fill in the low spots but it's now been a year so he is obviously going to keep all of the money without finishing the job. It's interesting that he had time to cash the check but no time to complete the job which he contracted. If you do use him, do not pay him in full until you are satisfied with the job!

Description of Work: Cleaned up several flower beds of weeds and saplings and hauled off debris and tree limbs. Mowed and edged yard that is about an acre in size.

Description of Work: Referral to another lawn professional because Mr. Mickey was in the car and on his way out of town when I called.

Description of Work: This is my second report for Mickey's Lawn care. My front garden was looking quite bad I had some weeds that I could not kill by spraying or pulling. I hired Mickey to come out and fix the problem.

Description of Work: They mowed my lawn and it was pretty tall. I had let it go a little bit too far.

Description of Work: I have a 1.2 acre hill top yard with lots of trees. They came, they saw, they mowed.

Description of Work: They have done several things. They have cleaned out the yard several times and have planted grass; that type of work.

Description of Work: We purchased all the materials for the landscaping (flowers, shrubs, mulch, seed, etc). The cost we paid to Mickeys Lawn Care was for labor only. They put in one large flower bed to cover massive roots and two small flower beds. They added some additional shrubs to help fill in space areas. They Root tilled the yard/ground and also spread seed in areas where no grass had grown due to large tree and shaded areas. They filled in and leveled the ground with additional dirt.
