+ -1 moreIt did not go well, I was refused at every turn, there was no telephone number to talk to a manager or live body, only the e-mails and they just insisted it was my fault and didn't even entertain any thought that the alleged damage could have occurred during transit. It seemed to be a concerted effort not to pay. The last e-mail told me I was to check for water damage myself before sending it in, even though there was none that I was aware of and I am not a technician. The final straw came when I was asked if I wanted the phone back and that they would charge me shipping if that were the case! Worst customer service I have ever seen from a provider of services.
Description of Work: Upgraded cellular phone at location. Was pleased to hear they would allow trade-ins to exchange for gift card to store, so sent in cellphone and reported it in fair condition (it was over 3 years old but still worked). Was shocked to hear them deny the gift card because they claimed it had water damage because of an indicator within the phone (could it have been activated because of being old?). I had never immersed this phone or had it near water. Explained that to service, but was told if I wanted phone returned, they would then charge shipping, and still denied the gift card even after complaint to them and ask for resolution. This was not a large amount, only $12 card, but it was the arrogance of the customer is an idiot rather than trying to work this out.
