+ -1 moreI recently moved to the area and during a rain storm huge amounts of water were streaming down my chimney into the house. I called a friend of mine and she said she would call someone for me. Ten minutes later I get a phone call and the man says he will be over to look at my roof. He showed up and told my that the caulking around my chimney needed repaired and his people would be there tonight after dinner to fix it. Well sure enough, Ronnie & Amy arrived and proceed to fix the leak with a compound that they use on flat roofs and metal roofs. It is some kind of rubber sealant. They are a husband and wife team who have their own flat roofing repair company. They did a wonderful job and I no longer have any problems. They are both professional and friendly.
Description of Work: The caulking around my chimney was dried, cracked, and broken, leaving a gaping two inch hole to let the water into my firebox. The roofing company applied a rubber sealant around the base of the chimney to seal the holes and replace the bad caulking. While Ronnie was on the roof he also noticed a roof vent that needed sealing. He also said that I had considerable hail and storm damage to my shingles that I should call my insurance company. Since his company specializes in flat and metal roofs he would give me some numbers to help me find someone that did shingle work. Harnar roofing was prompt, friendly, and very professional.
