The actual removal of the swimming pool and deck was fairly well done. I think he got a little tired on a couple of the concrete fittings, and did not remove all of them. And an electrical conduit was left sticking out of the ground. Even so, over all it was well done. The fill dirt was well done, and the grass that was sown did grow. My biggest complaint was the fence. As a part of the job, he asked if he could remove a section of the fence to facilitate hauling off the stuff. I said he could on the condition that the fence was put back in the original condition. When the fence was removed, he cut the support boards to removed the section. And then he never came back to put it back together. In fact, at this point he became very unresponsive and uncommunicative. I finally gave up on him. My biggest mistake was paying him for the job was completely finished. Lesson learned. Finally, I had to pay someone else $300 to fix what he didn't do. I think he will do good work. Just don't pay until you're satisfied that the job is done.
