They did a very good job.

I called Pippin Brothers for help with our A/C system. They sent some one out the very next morning (as it wasn't an emergency). The serviceman was very professional and courteous. He explained things to me so I would be able to do the repair work for myself in the future if I wanted to. I appreciate that, rather than having some one ensure their job security. Overall I would recommend Pippin Brothers and will definitely use them again in the future.

I had recently purchased a toilet wishing to upgrade the old, inefficient one in my home. I began phoning Angie's List members in the hopes of getting a fair and reliable estimate for this straight forward installation; remove and replace. Well, I was informed that Pippin's does not quote over the phone and they would be glad to send a plumber out to estimate for the price of a service call-$39.95. That in itself is not bad but that's not what I needed. I needed quote, an acceptance, and an appointment which I got from the very next Angie's List member-an hourly rate plus parts. How hard was that. I'm a frequent user of the trades and for my money I will not be calling Pippin Brothers for anything.

While we do live outside of the Lawton city limits, we were both able to get a local in Elgin/Fletcher company to perform the services required for a more reasonable amount.

While I was deployed to Afghanistan our water heater went out. My wife called Pippin Brothers for service. They came and told wife water heater was bad and it needed repaired for 1000 dollars. When i was able to call she informed me of problem, I made a call to a trusted plumber (GORDON's) who came out and informed my wife all it needed was a new heating element. they replaced heating element for 80 dollars. I called PIPPIN Brothers to complain and they told me that they use national averages for their jobs, i said 1000 dollars for a heating element... The lady on the phone said that was the national average... LOL... are you kidding me....

My plumbing was beginning to act up. I was trying to run the washer and it began to back up into the tub. And if I would flush the toilet it would start to leak from the base of the toilet.. I called Thursday June 31, and It took awhile to get through I think I tried a few numbers that were associated with the company. Finally someone answered and they were very friendly asked what the problem was they said what it sounded like to them and gave me the otion to have someone out that day or to schedule someone to come later. I had them come saturday, which was great because there was no extra charge for saturday. I was called sat morning by 8, and then they should up shortly after 8. Two plumbers came, they asked about my problems, and after making sure there was no backyard access for the to use they gave me two options. I could have the remove the toilet and snake from there, then they would put the toilet back on. That would cost about $500. The second option was for them to go on the roof and snake from there, and that would cost about $230. I chose the second option. They got on the roof and got the job done. it turned out be what they called a huge root ball. Tons of little roots were attached to their snake. They cleaned their snake and even bagged up all the roots and took it with them. They were great very friendly and efficient. They made sure I knew my options and explained things very well

A week after the part was installed, the heat pump stopped functioning again. A return visit from Pippen revealed that the compressor was bad and the part alone would cost approximately $2000. My knowledge of HVAC systems is zero so it feels like one of those situations where you have to trust the experts. It felt to me that a failing compressor could have been detected a week earlier when the system was down the first time but, once again, with my limited knowledge, I may be wishing things are easier to trouble-shoot than they truly are. The system was 5 years old and of low quality and efficiency so, to us, it wasn't worth pumping extra money into. We ended up installing a completely new system. We met with the sales staff of Pippen regarding this purchase and were very impressed with the level of knowledge and expertise that the manager had. He evaluated our current needs, took photographs of the ductwork and system that was installed at the time and walked us through each aspect of the upgrade. Ultimately, we went with another company but only because we wanted to go with a geo-thermal system that Pippen doesn't sell/service.

They are always professional. They are very good about answering my questions, letting me watch what they are doing, and I like the fact that one of the techs was in their Apprenticeship program. You got to learn somewhere.

I've actually used them a few times since moving here; the first time was an emergency when I had a slab leak, 7 weeks after I moved in in late November of 2007 - I used them again when my A/C fan motor went out (that is what I am citing here) and again when I needed a leaky outdoor spigot repaired when it snapped off inside the wall. That was fun... At every incident, they've sent knowledgeable, trustworthy, licensed Plumbers within two hours, even when they have been roaring busy. I didn't have a problem asking them questions and at no time were they annoyed with me asking those questions. They have up-front pricing, a good service plan (join it...!) and they have saved me a ton of money.

Had a kitchen sink that we needed to install because we had just finished redoing our cabinets.Called pippen brothers who told me it would be 45.00 to come out and give an estimate the gentleman came out looked the sink over and told me it would be 350-400 dollers to install sink told him that i would not pay that much he told me it would be 45.00 for the trip out! for five min of looking at my sink. Never again will I use them due to the fact that they could have told me on the phone how much it would be.

I had two inches of rushing water in the house, and I was sure I had burst a pipe. Thinking my washer's supply line has sprung a leak, I turned off the washer at the spigot, but I could still hear water rushing through the walls. I was in a panic! I called them early in the morning, on Monday, Jan 7th, not knowing ANY plumbers in town. They advise me to shut the water off at the main. By 10 am, Orlando was here and he devised a plan that would work for me - intially, I was told that he would have to bust up the slab to stop the leak, and I was very concerned with the cost and the windows that had just been replaced nearby. He listened to my concerns and came up with a plan that would not entail his breaking up the slab between the kitchen and my laundry room. He worked very hard, explaining everything as he went along, and why he was using PEX piping up into the unheated attic as opposed to breaking up the slab and trying to find the problem. His plan was to cap off the old supply under the slab, and tap the water lines off the water heat's water supply lines and route that through the attic and back down to the washer and kitchen sink. He installed 5 shutoff valves, (one at the water heater, two at the washer that is accessable in the garage behind an access panel, and plus two under the sink in the kitchen.) and nearly 60' of PEX piping. Plus he also put a new icemaker water supply box, and a new laundry room water supply box and put in a new spigots for the washer's hot and cold water lines. This was not an easy fix, and he was here for about 7 hours, while I had other trades in the house clearing up the mess. This happened three years ago, and we have not had another slab leak probem since. We have very cold winters here and there has been no problems whatsoever with the PEX piping running through the attic. I joined their Perferred Customer Program, which has more than paid for itself since I have used them a few more times. Plus, they come out twice a year to take care of my A/C and Heater. I can not complain at all!

I have to say, this went better than expected. I had attempted to fix this myself, and failing that, made an emergency call to Pippin Brothers to come out and replace the silcock; they responded within an hour and sent Robert. He replaced the silcock, which entailed him sodering this in place in a very tight space in a bedroom wall - while he did not repair the wall, the did repair the spigot and it really works great now!

I have a mischievous toddler who put some aquarium rocks down into my garbage disposal, I called Pippin brothers to come out and repair the garbage disposal. They said they couldn't fix it but they could replace it for $260.73. So I talked to my husband, who is in Iraq, and he said to call and have a second opinion done. So I called Ken's Plumbing and they came out and removed it, flushed it out and reinstalled it all for $65 dollars even. I will NEVER again use Pippin Brothers or recommend them to ANYONE! Ken's Plumbing forever has our business!

They fixed the fan on my air conditioner and made sure it was running correctly. They are also open on Saturdays with no extra charge. I would recommend them to anyone. They are the only ones that I will use.
