They're about average overall. Their price is pretty much the same with the other estimates that I had. They arrive on time and did the job quickly.

I walked around my neighborhood looking at fences and started calling the numbers posted by contractors that were attatched to the fences. Pierce and Sons is the only (out of 6) that called me back. They promptly sent someone out that day and gave me an estimate. The work was started on the agreed day and finished quickly. The quality of work was good. Overall I am very pleased with teh work and transaction.

Pierce and Sons used poor quailty wood; wood is cracked, scrap wood used as filler, and uneven. Pierce and Sons put up the fence in the wrong place. It is 17 inches inside what we discussed, and the property line. I only have 6 feet of property to begin with and they gave 1 1/2 feet to my neighbors, which they now use as a landfill. A riding lawn mover no longer will fit in the back yard making mowing the back yard impossible. The front of the fence on the right side of the house is uneven, the metal support polls were visible above the fence, and the workmanship is of poor quailty. The support boards are not cut correctly and look as if a child made the cuts. I discussed these concerns with Pierce and Sons, but they did not correct their errors. Instead, they did a search on the owner(s) of my property, which was not updated, so they started demanding to talk to my husband. I am a single woman so there was no husband to discuss this with. Pierce and Sons then re-entered the back portion of the property while I was at work, without notification, scaring my teenage daughter. Pierce and Sons then told me they had taken pictures and video footage of the fence and demanded cash in 5 days. We had agreed on being billed for the work with 30 days.
