+ -1 moreTech came out to diagnose the problem and had to order the parts. Circuit board came in after a couple of days. He replaced the bad board and we have had no problems since. Very professional, courteous service.
Description of Work: Replaced a bad fan controller PCB.

+ -1 moreThe guy that runs L Tech is a young guy whom I met about 12 years ago. My house was built in 1984 and the air conditioning system is that old and hasn't been replaced. With my home warranty, I've had 3 separate companies tell me that I was going to have to replace the entire A/C unit. Since 2002, I have not used anyone else besides L Tech and for good reason because he has kept my A/C running like it is brand new. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: My AC was blowing hot air so they came in to recharge it and make sure everything was in proper working condition.

+ -1 moreMy compressor stopped working. I couldn't afford a new unit. They replaced it with a used one they had in stock. It worked for over 2 years when I finally could replace the whole system. Also did maintenance whenever needed.

+ -1 moreI could not afford a new unit. He had one he had taken out of another house where he put in a new one. Although he couldn't guarantee the unit since it was used, he installed it for labor only charges. It has worked beautifully ever since! He has also done other work on inside unit as needed for very good prices over the years.

+ -1 moreOverall, the heating problem was fixed even though it took a week just to get the part - my kids went around with red noses and we could see our breath in the house. As far as the air, it did not entirely fix the problem, and when I didn't pay the last invoice for a couple of months, the owner showed up at my doorstep one night and demanded a check or he was going to "repossess the work" he had done. I handed him a check and told him it still wasn't working and he said he had to make payroll so he needed the money. I've since seen him around town and I won't speak to him if I can avoid it.
Description of Work: My husband and I had a home warranty service - American Home Shield - so we had to first contact them. Our central air unit wasn't working right and they had previously sent them out to fix the central heat. It was somthing about a coil that related to how the heat connected and we were told the part had to be ordered and due to the icy roads, it would be a while before the part came in. We had to wait a week during an ice storm for them to fix the heat AFTER they did the initial visit. We had to buy space heaters to heat the bedrooms so we could sleep. About the summer repair - it took a couple of days to get someone out. They basically said the unit outside was dirty, hosed it off and replaced a fuse/breaker. They charged us about 200.00 for the central air problem.
