+ -1 moreLousy! He promised to mow and bag. When he showed up he said his grass catcher did not work properly but that he would get the grass up even if he had to rake it. When he left, my lawn looked like a hay field with piles of mowed grass all over. I paid him thinking that he would do as he had promised. He never came back or called me about bagging the mess he left in my yard. I would neither recommend nor use his services again

+ -1 moreThe day we moved in, he came over and welcomed us to the neighborhood. He is extremely hard of hearing, and the best way to get hold of him is through his wife. He is an older man, he is retired, and he just wants something to do to keep himself busy. He charges $30 if he mows the grass in the front and back of the house, and $20 if he mows only the front. He is a really sweet guy, and he does just about anything I ask of him. I called him yesterday because we had to get steps at the back door. When I called his wife Rose he was taking a nap at the time. Today we went to the dumpster to dump some things, and when we drove back, he was sitting here in the yard waiting for us. He then went to the lumber yard with us to get what he needed for the stairs. He is that fast.
Description of Work: I use George Lawn & Yard Work for my lawn care, and I have been using him for three years. He is just an individual, he does not have a company. He does mowing of the grass, he does weeding, he made a flower bed for me, and he does anything else I might need for the yard. When I tell him what kinds of flowers I want in the garden, he gets them. They are some of the most beautiful and hardy plants I have ever seen. He also does decks, porches, and stairs. Right now, he is putting in stairs at the back of the house. He also does tree service, though not for me, because I don't have any trees, but for other people in the neighborhood. When we had a bad windstorm, it snapped a lot of trees, and he was out here cleaning up the mess. I also use George as my handyman, he just replaced the filters in my A/C.
