Did not use. I did not see or meet the person who came by and I think that was the deciding factor. Apparently, I require personal contact. I was seriously impressed with the responsiveness of the company and may well use them in the future. The cost quoted for the service (tree trimming) was comparable to the other quote I was given; it was a little higher, but not enough to be a significant factor.

Service was fantastic. I've never had a yard grow so well in such a harsh soil. The only complaint is that they didn't always call prior to coming to my residence so that I could unlock the back yard gate for them. On occasion, I found their employees hopping my fence to treat my back yard.

I called before the weekend for an estimate on landscape work, mostly on fence construction as a windstorm had taken down a section of fencing at the house I recently purchased. An appointment was made for 3pm today (Monday). I had wanted an appointment after 4pm so I didn't have to take time off work, but he couldn't go that late so I took two hours leave from my job to be sure I would be home when he got here at HIS suggested time of 3pm. I left work at 2pm. 3pm came and went. Around 3:20 I got a call that he was with another customer, and had been since 1:30 and and quot;should be done soonand quot; and he'd call when he left that location. When I get a message like that, I think--okay, maybe another 15 minutes, half hour the most perhaps. Next I knew it was 4:45, almost 4:50 when I got the call. By that point I'd determined that the business I could provide 4D was not important to them if he could be almost two hours late and consider that okay. Personally I'd have been embarrassed to call and act like it was and quot;normaland quot;, which is how it seemed. Nothing out of the ordinary. It was explained he was 20 minutes away and asked if I still wanted him to come out. After thinking on it briefly I said no because I am just so tired of this kind of thing being considered acceptable by a business, especially when I have lost (and paid for) time off from work. My time is worth something as well, you know? I'd rather those hours get used for leisure, not waiting for someone who doesn't have the courtesy to show up on time or within a REASONABLE time frame. He explained that and quot;if you had been the customer, I wouldn't have left you eitherand quot; as if that somehow made it all better. That only told me I, and the business I could provide, was of no real importance to him. What it told me was that there was no backup system in place, and therefore it was better to be rude to me than to tell the person he was with that he had other appointments to keep and schedule a call-back for them, especially since it appeared they were taking up way more time than maybe they should have or at least more than that person was scheduled for--or should have been. I mean, 1:30 until almost 5pm? Some folks will do that--act like they're the only customer in the world, and refuse to and quot;yield the floorand quot;, so to speak. Was I being and quot;shoved off to the leftand quot; for someone like that and 4D didn't have the courage to speak up? Who knows. This event told me that they are spreading personnel too thin, and I would likely encounter more problems had they actually been hired. Honestly, what other conclusion can be drawn? Already been there, done that and swore I wouldn't set myself up for that again. And all the signs today read that's exactly where this was going. It's a shame too, but thinking that being two hours late is okay is just plain disrespectful and no way to present oneself as a business person especially to a new potential client. I have a lot of work to be done around this yard over the next couple years, and I have to hire out to get it done. Their loss. I think this company needs to get a handle on their scheduling practices because now there's two hours of leave time I had wasted today by them, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who can say that. There's no second chance to make a good first impression.

Just at the demo phase now but Ive used them for like 7 years..great family owned company.

They had guy come out and give a quote, and we worked on what I wanted done. Following the guys came out completed the work and quote guy came back to inspect and I paid the bill. Very quick and easy.

They did an awesome job. They had to work around the weather and plus the busy yard work season. But they got to me in a timely manner. They also kept good communications with me. They thoroughly clean up behind themselves and are very professional.

Didn't want to give any false advertising. I needed a lot and got great service for the amount I paid. Please see the other report about the sod, concrete, and other details.

The crew came out on a Monday, which was a holiday for most to survey. When Joe came out, he told me that his dad said that they were not only going to survey but that they would work that whole day. They did all of the prep work and began getting the heavy machinery out in the afternoon. They work through heavy wind gusts and were only stopped when a 15 minute heavy downpour came along. On that first day, they dug out 20 ft x 12 ft for the back porch extension, 12 ft x 8 ft for a slab where we are putting a generator and the area where we are putting our trash cans, and a 16 ft x 16 ft concrete slab where we are putting a storage shed. We asked them later to add another 12.5 ft x 4 ft extension of our back porch. They dug out areas where we are putting flowers and bushes and dug out a wash in our back yard and leveled it to be better prepared and not turn into a wash out from the rain like it was before we had sod laid. They continued the work the next day and a day later they laid the concrete. The work probably would have taken less than 7 working days but we decided to add a sprinkler system from a company the family bought called Land L Sprinkler and had that installed as well.

In August I had a site visit and estimate for an initial clean out of my yard. As I travel a good deal I accepted and confirmed the date for the service to be performed September 14. However, when I called on the 12th of September to verify the exact time the workers would be present I was told that they weren't available until the following week, a time in which I wasn't available on the property. I had to engage another company for the service. 4-D has a huge presence in Lawton but for me they were inconveniently unreliable and I won't call them again.

Chinese Pistache tree was planted in late spring 2010 to replace Bradford Pear tree damaged beyond repair during January 29, 2010 ice storm. After it was determined that the Bradford Pear was dead, it was removed and replaced by a Chinese Pistache. In spring 2011, the pistache did not bud. Contacted 4-D and upon inspection, it was determined that the tree was in fact dead. That tree was removed and replaced at no cost to me.

4-D Lawn and Landscape Company prepared a written proposal in plenty of time for me to review the work to be done and adjust my budget. My acceptance of the proposal was done both via e-mail and in person. I did have one question. I called the business office and left a message. The call back was within 24 hours and my question was answered. The crew arrived on the agreed-to date (to work within my sprinkler system schedule). The crew accomplished all work very professionally and even offered a suggestion on plant placement for better street (curb-side) appearance. The crew was cheerful and all work was performed quickly in order to not abuse labor hourly changes. Since the completion of the planting, 4-D has followed-up weekly to ensure and maintain excellent bed curb side presentation.

I have an annual contract that is paid monthly. Spring and Fall/Winter seasonals are extra but very reasonable.
