He worked slowly and steady apologized for taking so long. My refrigerator stopped working he showed me that the compressor was fine. it was the fan needed to be cleaned. "I was referred to Shelton through the Whirlpool Class Action suit and was advised they would schedule service. Since this is a class action suit, you would think that after waiting for 2 days the tech would come out with the necessary parts to make the repair. NO! First, I was told he would be at my home between 12-3. So I made arrangements for someone to sit at my house and wait for him. At 3:15, I called the office and was told he would be there shortly. He called at 3:23 and told me he would be at my home within 15-20 minutes. At 4:07, I received a call that he had finally tripped into my house (I don't even have steps) and he needed to ask me what the problem was. I thought that was why I called HIM there to begin with, to diagnose the problem. However, I received NO diagnosis whatsoever from him. He called me back at 4:13 to then tell me he would have to order a part so I would be without my refrigerator for another 3-5 days and then he would come back out and charge me labor fees to install the part. If I chose to do his work and drain my refrigerator prior to his arrival he would only charge an additional $40. Then he tried to write the ticket for an additional $75. This is after I had already paid him $90 cash for a 6 minute trip into my house. RIP OFF!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE JOKERS!!! I work as a Quality Manager and this is NOT Quality Service!"
