Wonderful!!! They were awesome. Scott understood exactly what was needed and oversaw the job from start to finish.

Our pleasant experience with them started with the salesman, Scott, coming to measure for a quote. We have 2 sets of nine large windows arranged in a 3x3 grid. Another window company's salesman had no clue how to handle it - said he would have to get someone else out to look at it. Because Scott started as an installer with Windows by Jeff, he was able to give us options for the best way to install. Next their price was reasonable - about 60% of the other company's quote. After doing research on the internet, it became obvious to me they had the superior windows as well, despite what the other salesman tried to tell me (and talked my ear off doing it!) Scott was very low-key, but responsive to any questions and concerns. The installation was done at about the time they estimated, with reasonable delays for weather. The installers were courteous and friendly, took care to keep from making too big of a mess and cleaned up what mess they did make. When we decided in the middle of install to change the size of a window (at our cost of course), they took it in stride, gave me a prompt estimate for the change and made a reasonable schedule for the install of the new window. We did have a problem with the operation of one of the windows, and the frame was warped on it. Jeff himself, as well as Scott, came out and looked at the problem, told us how he would fix it, and arranged for it to be fixed with the next install date. Jeff came out again at the next install when we discovered that a metal pipe was in the way of lowering the window the way we wanted. He gave us options for fixing it, we agreed upon a solution, which required them setting yet another appointment to move one of the windows they had previously installed. Even though all of these changes were our "fault", they took them in stride, scheduled reasonable dates to come back, and charged reasonable prices for the changes. I was very impressed with their laid-back professionalism and would not hesitate to recommend them, or to use them again.

I initially contacted Windows by Jeff in September for a quote after seeing an ad for them on a local website and seeing their reviews on Angies List. Scott came out and measured the windows and discussed the installation process. He was very thorough in his explanation of what would be done along with the different windows and energy ratings. I was ready to begin the work on the house in mid November and went to their office to sign the contract and pay for the windows. Sarah is a pleasure to work with and she showed me the windows and door that I would be getting. Her attitude and friendliness is so different from many other I have encountered, which is very refreshing. Jeff came in while I was there and is they same way. Due to the approaching Holidays, they explained that it might take longer than usual to get the windows, which is understandable. The first day of installation was delayed due to rain and they were only able to get the living room windows (picture window and 2 side windows) installed. Andre and his crew arrived the second morning and wasted no time getting started on the rest of the windows. They made sure that all debris was cleaned up after each window was done. The last window they installed was in the bathroom due to the extra work involved due to the extra work involved (having to replace most of the frame due to wood rot from placing wood and trim around the shower). The result is amazing. The cut out and door installation will be done shortly and I am sure it will be of the same quality workmanship as the windows. I am 120% satisfied with the work done and will definitely use them again if I need windows in the future. For those considering window or door replacement, Windows by Jeff is the only company to use.

Overall, the whole process went very smoothly. We received our final bid and made our down payment during the second half of October 2011, and had the windows installed during January. The two person crew did a great job removing all the old windows and installing the new windows during the course of about three and a half days. Minimal indoor dust and debris was created, and only minor touch up painting was needed indoors around the new window frames. Open wall cavities were insulated in all window openings, and new flashing and trim was installed around our upstairs windows. It should be noted that installation time will probably vary considerably from home to home as the crew had no problems replacing some windows, while other openings required more work. I was very comfortable with having the crew in our home and had no problems with them in any way. The new windows look great, and during the 10 months since installation we have had no problems with leakage or other performance problems with the windows. The new windows are far easier to open than our old windows and we love all the new features on them. Our home is quieter with the new windows and when accounting for year on year weather differences, we have seen a reduction in energy usage from both heating and cooling. I wouldn't hesitate to use Windows by Jeff again in the future should the need arise, either for doors at our existing home, or new windows at a future home. Highly recommended.

Brandon, the installer, was very professional and precise with his installation. Went above & beyond in cleaning up debris, cleaning windows, etc.

They were quick to get back to me with a quote. The person who came out was wonderful. He was very informative. He was great.

Scott came out for the estimate and I was truly impressed with his knowledge, and he pointed out things no one else had. He used to do installations, so he knows exactly how the whole process works. He's a good, honest guy and won't oversell you beyond what you need. The other big window guys in town wouldn't even discuss removing my ugly odd shaped windows, but would more than happily charge a lot to replace the special shapes. Windows by Jeff was the only company willing to do what I truly wanted and close up those ugly things. Within a day or two I went to their office to sign the contract and pay my deposit with Sarah. She is sweet and wonderful to deal with. It did take a bit longer than the original time frame for the job to begin, but in their defense we had no rain this spring until I ordered my windows. After that it seemed to rain constantly which naturally puts a business of this natural behind, so that is in no way their fault. The job was completed in three or four working days spread out across a week and a half or so. I was very impressed with the way the gentlemen would clean up my house and yard. Every day my house was left looking like no one had been there at all (aside from new windows here and there of course). For the life of me I can't remember his name, but the tall, lanky, redheaded guy was very friendly. Jason was a bit on the quiet side, but always curteous and professional. I cannot say enough good things about Jeff, Sarah, Scott, and the entire crew from Windows by Jeff. I plan to use them again in the future for more projects and I hope that you do as well.

They did a really great job of installing the windows. They took a week to finish up to ensure they took there time installing them so the job was done proeprly. They were very eager to supply us with a bid that would effect any last minute changes we may have had.

I called Windows by Jeff based on a recommendation from a friend along with their A rating on Angie's List. Jeff scheduled a time to come by the house to talk and gather information about the windows, and he was right on time. Jeff was very friendly and extremely knowledgable about window installation and products. What I like most about Jeff was that he described installation at length. There are many ways to install a replacement window, and not every company does it the same way. He described their process in detail, and explained why it's better. Everything Jeff described made total sense. He was extremely friendly and no-pressure. He took good notes and told me he would send an estimate with a few options. The estimate arrived via email quickly and I visited his showroom at his suggestion to look at the window choices a bit closer before making my decision. One of his crew came to the house shortly thereafter to take finer measurements, and our windows were ordered. When the windows arrived at Jeff's location, I was contacted by phone and an installation date was scheduled. The installation took four days - there was a lot of windows and a lot of work to be done. His installation crew, Brandon and Chris, were very polite and went straight to work. Work areas were covered with drop cloths, and every last spec of dust was cleaned up after each window was installed. They removed and reinstalled window hardware (blinds, rods, drapes, etc.) and moved onto the next. Jeff, Brandon, and Chris gained my immediate trust and I had no concerns leaving the house a couple of times to go to a doctor appointment and to run a couple of needed errands. I wouldn't do that with just any contractor - but these guys are honest and hard working. While Jeff did not do the installation, he did stop by during the four day install to check up on things. Not that he had to - these guys are surgeons at installing windows. Every window fit like a glove, the caulking lines are straight as arrows, and no detail was left undone. Over the installation period, we saw our house "come alive". The old dingy aluminum windows that wouldn't stay open were one by one taken away and replaced with beautiful windows that let the outside light and surrounding shine through. We're enjoying cooler nights with the windows open now, and loving all the sunlight that comes in. I had no idea how bad the old windows were taking away from the beauty of our home until the new ones went in. This is an investment we should have made long ago - Our house looks great inside and out now, and I'm sure we will enjoy the energy savings over the years. I am 100% pleased at our decision to use Windows by Jeff - They truly care about the customer, and care about doing things right.

He was excellent. He carries more than one type of window and he told us the points about each. We trusted him totally. He was very good. There was an issue with the sliding glass door because the company measured wrong. It closed but it had way too much wiggle room. He came over and said that it was not accepable. He would not even think of taking full payment until it was fixed to his satisfaction. He was really great to work with. Scott came out initially and he was great looking at everything. We are pretty OCD and and he had pretty high standards and we were very satisified. He ended up talking to the company president to find out where it went wrong.

The guy did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him. They charged me about $1500. The guy showed up on time and cleaned up the mess. I was painting around the trim and I got some paint on the screen. He saw it and replaced the screen for me just because I got some paint on it. He definitely backed up everything he did. He was there to please me. If there were any problems, I could just let him know. I can’t say enough about them. I would use them again.

The estimate was about $15000. I really liked his estimate. He broke down the cost for each window and each door. It was a very detailed estimate. It was readable and very clear. He was very professional. I would consider using him for another quote in the future.

I chose him because of price, partly, but also because I have a large, unique window. Jeff was able to get me closer to what I wanted as far as a product.

The company planned a start date with me. I believe they were able to start on that date (the is a weather pending industry) but overall they spent approximately 3 days at our house. Overall they did an excellent job. It seems that the only real problems were due to measuring almost too tight of a fit for the windows. It seemed that they moved at a steady pace but recognized they needed to do it right and seemed to take the time to do so. The only thing I was not a huge fan of was the time between removal and install. The window would come out and then the installers would assemble and prepare the new one. In the middle of August I would prefer that I not have a large opening in my house for a long period of time. However, with that said they did do the job right and I am very pleased. Jeff also took the time to come by, introduce himself and see that all was well.

While I was comparison shopping, Jeff took the time and effort to fully explain the differences between windows and especially the process of installation. I found a lot of the detail I needed to make my decision about product choice online and he and Sarah patiently advised us and adjusted the quote several times to fit our desired results. We originally had old bronze (dark brown) dual-pane units that had mostly failed over the years and probably provided the equivalent of single-panes. I originally wanted to go with a dark brown replacement, vinyl or aluminum if needed. After reading up on the differences I realized aluminum was not worth investing in. None of the vinyl manufacturers made a brown window that looked quite right to my wife and I so we looked at the alternatives and went with the tan color. We also made some changes to the grid configurations, dropping them altogether everywhere except the front of the house. The crew came when they said they would and they were very professional and obviously take a lot of pride in their work. By the end of the first day all of my concerns were relieved about the installation process. They were careful to protect the surrounding areas and cleaned up thoroughly. They were good about working with us to get the windows done in an order that worked for us as well. They worked steadily but never seemed to be rushing, working on the same opening for a while and then splitting to finish one while the other got started on the next one. We have enjoyed the comfort of the new windows ever since. I don't even notice the different color any more, the whole house is quieter, and with the double-hung and security features we can sleep with windows open at the top even if we expect it might rain. Our upstairs room on the west end of the house is noticably cooler in the evenings now. The entry door has a seal that is similar to a car door. I'm looking forward to seeing the improvement in our utility bills this year (not to mention the $1500.00 tax credit). We feel we made a wise investment in our home and picked the right company to provide the services and products.

Excellent! Jeff Ford is very knowledgeable and professional, and takes great care in explaining the importance of correct installation procedures. The products they installed are well made and very complementary to our home. Very pleased, and would be glad to have to them do work for us again.
