 + -1 moreBaker Pool originally installed our pool We had rust spots on our pool deck so I started the (long) process of getting it fixed. I called and emailed for over a month before Baker Pool finally agreed to send someone out to look at it. We scheduled the fix and they sent out 2 people to patch the area. It looks HORRIBLE. The plaster color doesn't even come close to matching . It looks so bad, I'd rather have the rust spots. When I tried to get something done, the service mgr basically said nothing could be done. The problem...No one told me it would look this bad. If they had, I would not have done it. This company has VERY POOR communication. It seems to be headed downhill. I even spoke with the owner twice about the issue. He was belligerent and condescending. I won't be spending anymore money here and will find a reputable company to fix my ledge and anything else that is pool related
Description of Work: Baker Pool installed our pool in 2015. There were cost overruns but we built on a hill so it just was what it was. But, our pool started showing rust spots on our tanning ledge so we contacted them (multiple times but that's another story...They finally sent someone out and they said they're patch the area. Instead of sending their plaster person, they sent their service guys (who are great people). The patches look so absolutely bad...I'd rather have rust spots. And, the owner of Baker Pools did nothing but make excuses and blew up when I asked him to "finish the job" Just a very poor showing on their part. And, the owner really needs to get out of the business.. Not customer service friendly

 + 0 moreOther places may be cheaper, but Baker has done enough pools to know how to do it right. Gentry had the experience to guide me successfully through my budget-conscious pool project. He listened to my concerns and addressed them. He worked with me to manage risk. Someone always returned a phone call or a text within 1 business day. The little bit extra was worth the peace of mind when sinking a significant amount of money in my back yard. Weather and utility companies caused delays for me, but Baker made extra efforts to stay on schedule. When torrential rains flooded my yard and the unfinished pool, the company sent out someone after hours on a Friday to help me out. Comparing stories with a few other owners of new pools from other builders, I can confidently say I had the best experience of the bunch.

Description of Work: They are very difficult to deal with. The pool took several months longer than told it would take. They would not return phone calls or they just say something to get you to stop asking and then they would just not show up for several weeks.Then we found the plaster had holes in it. They patched it, but the new pool has a patched look on the bottom. The spa was designed incorrectly so that it continually leaks water on the concrete patio around it. After they graded the yard and we had a hard rain, the water flooded under our house for the first time ever! They claimed it was not their fault!! The lights have never worked correctly (synced together) and still don't. The owner is hot headed and difficult to talk to. I have another friend that also used them and they have a legal restraint that says Baker can never come in their yard again. I do NOT recommend using them in any way,shape, or form!

 + -1 moreWe live in a hill region and we just wanted a plain lap pool. They had to cancel the appointment a couple of times. They did call when they knew they were not going to be able to come. We had to wait on their engineering crew. They wanted us to pay the engineer to come out and determine how the pool needed to be built and stabilized. We decided not to pay upfront. We did not have a pool put in because it was higher than the amount that we wanted to pay.
Description of Work: I used Baker Pools, LLC to get a bid for our pool.

 + -1 moreThe only negative issue which we were told about in advance was they would likely demolish the irrigation system in the backyard where pool would be installed. They did indeed but had a reasonable provider work with us afterwards to get things back to working order.
Description of Work: Baker Pools installed our custom pool and we are extremely pleased. They said 6-8 weeks for construction and it took exactly 7. We have plans next spring to have them construct two areas around the pool for outdoor living. Every crew they sent were courteous and professional. Our neighbors marveled at how quickly the project progressed. Again we couldn't be happier with our results. We have made several recommendations to friends and can't wait to have outdoor kitchen installed next spring!

 + -1 moreThe tech arrived promptly and was very courteous. Although he appears to have repaired the pump, he missed a leak in the piping that was visible to my son this past weekend. The tech's suggestion to locate the leak - had I pursued it - would have been quite expensive. I am very disappointed due to the high rating on the list and am still looking for a good pool service company.

 + -1 moreI first noticed that some of our neighbors were having a pool installed by Baker, and was looking for a new pool service. We have used Baker Pools for about 3 years now and will continue.
Description of Work: Baker handles pool maintenance with 2 times per week cleaning and repairs as needed to our equipment. Our pool is old and several of the larger parts, such as the filter, pump, and diverter apparatus have been replaced by Baker Pools in addition to the maintenance. During two of the winters, we needed emergency services because of freezing and Baker employees were there in icy and snowy conditions to patch up our system. It would be hard to overstate how confident I feel with this company handling the pool details for us. Their services are relatively pricy, but every single person that has worked on our equipment has been exemplary in professionalism and courtesy. I have had other pool services (3) and was not satisfied because of erratic services and concerns about issues such as sobriety, and backgrounds.

 + -1 moreWe had an old pool pump and system which cracked and spewing water. We were a first time customer and they responded promptly and gave quote with options. We elected to replace the pool system rather than repairing it because of its age. They set up a day to come and replace it, and even though it was freezing (literally) cold outside and windy, they came as promised. Everything was left neat and tidy, no big mess left for me to clean up.

 + -1 moreI am very pleased with their honesty as they could have really taken us for a ride and said that we needed to replace the whole unit. I would have never known the difference. Instead, they had just charged us a service fee. They have provided me with many services in the past and I have always been pleased with their work.
Description of Work: I had them check my in ground 20x40 square foot pool heater as it was not heating correctly. They found out that it was just a bad wire and replaced it. They also clean my pool twice a week as a part of our agreement.
