DOUG MOORE CONSTRUCTION

Doug was very kind & very descriptive of his plan of action he does very intricate work & made our house look like a million bucks

Mr. Moore requested & received funds that didn't get spent on our home project. He left vendors unpaid. He completed the interior of the two bedrooms and the floor of the hallway. He completed 1 1/2 sides of the exterior log. It took him one year to complete that much and then he decided that he was tired of this job and he walked away. We do not have log on much of our home, our deck is not even started, our bathroom has OSB on the walls and floor and nothing else. We were forced to extend our construction loan another year and we will now attempt to complete the bathroom, remaining exterior logs and deck ourselves. He was so unprofessional in his dealings. I requested repeatedly to see invoices and was told that is not how things are done. We bent over backwards trying to be understanding about this man's constant excuses about how sorry his life was going. What did we get in return? Him walking out and leaving the job 60% done. I will NEVER recommend him to someone else. He needs to be forced out of the construction business.
