Description of Work: We purchased a Langley spec home and were very pleased with the home and transaction.

Description of Work: I hired this Company to build a very custom home to the plans I had made by a very famous architect. The home took twice as long to build and cost over twice the estimate. There were no changes in the plans. Thw quality was terrible and has resulted in extensive rework over the years. Specifically the electrical contractor wired the septic pump allowing water to flow into the electrical supply. There was no high level float switch installed which is normally required for an alarm. When the electic failed the tank overfilled and subsequent pumping filled the septic leach field with solids. This reqired installation of new latterals. There was no insulation in a floor to ceiling section of the north wall of the home. This section was approx. 2 feet wide. This was covered by sheet rock and not discovered until recently.when we had to remove it as a result of a toilet leak due to the plumber not installing a long enough sleeve on the toilet. The toilet leak required removal of the toilet, removal and re-installation of half the rock floor and re-installation of trim,sheet rock, floors and toilet. The same mistake was made on two toilets. The house has rock floors which were installed by the masons. Approx. 20%of the rocks are not anchored to the floors. The stone walls were never cleaned by the masons. The framers and the concrete sub could not read the drawings resulting in multiple re-works during construction. The sheet rock shows vertually every seam. The good guys were the trim people who finished the job. Bottom line is that the contractor did not supervise his sub-contractors.
