+ -1 moreCraig showed up on time, took his time, used several cameras and other equipment to check over every square inch of the house. Not only was he through, he took the time to explain everything or answer any questions that we had at the time. The house that that he was inspecting also had several out building that he included in the overall inspection. The report that he provided us with was incredibly through and included all the pictures that he took. He even provided us with a energy report of the house, showed us where potential problems might arise from and gave us ideas in how to fix them. Craig was a pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend him and if we're in the market again for a house, we'll be using him! He even offers a military discount.

I could not be happier with the service Craig Tyszka CPI Certified Professional Inspector provided. he was prompt, friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable in all facets of of the inspection process. The inspection encompassed nearly seven hours and covered virtually everything. It was worth every penny and I would recommend Craig to anybody who is seeking a complete, thorough and unbiased, professional home inspection! HIRE THIS GUY!!
Description of Work: Performed a complete and comprehensive inspection of the home which included interior and exterior inspection. Employed FLIR technology to determine areas of heat intrusion and adequacy of insulation. Provided photos and detailed explanations of findings. Thoroughly investigated and inspected every aspect of electrical, mechanical and plumbing installations and provided detailed observations and findings.

I was out of state, so all of our communication was through email, but he always responded very quickly to my questions. He worked well with my realtor and was extremely thorough in his report giving me much needed information for the purchase of our home. I received a 100+page PDF report the very next day after the inspection. Wonderful to work with, will definitely recommend to others!

+ -1 moreDo not let your realtor hire your home inspector. Call Simple Science Inspections and ask For Craig Tyszka. If we would have settled for the inspection that was performed by our realtors building inspector whom turned out to be a licensed plumber our family would have died in a house fire when the weather turned cold and we were to turn on our heater. We had NO IDEA but have had the general contractor actor we hired and Sears who came to look at the furnaces tell us the same thing. Our building inspector saved my families life and was over the top helpful in directing me to the right people to be able to get the house safe once the lawsuit is complete. I cannot thank him enough.
Description of Work: I found this home inspector in the yellow pages and called him to do a profession home inspection on my home because when we bought the home we found many things wrong with the house that were undisclosed by the realtor and seller. When I called Mr. Tyszka he was VERY interested in my story and was eager to be able to help us out even though we had no money at the time. I set a appointment to meet with him the following day and a couple hours later that day he drove by and saw me outside and stopped to introduce himself. I asked him if he would like to come in and have a look around so he can get a idea of what he was up against at the inspection the following day. He had a look around and was shocked when I told him the realtors inspection sheet was one page and his only findings were 4 minor repairs. The next day Mr. Tyszka showed on time with all his tools and was in my home for several hours and pointed out things wrong that could have potentially harmed my family and I was told we should not stay in the home determined by gas leaks, excessive asbestos and open hot wires in several areas of the house. Mr. Tyszka had sent my home inspection report which was 162 pages long and so amazingly detailed that my Layer and General contractor took his business cards for referring him to clients. They said they have never seen a home inspection report of that quality and detailed professionalism. While my lawsuit is pending I have had to call whom I now consider my friend "Craig" on several occasions and he always answers his calls and have not once talked to a voicemail. Also I have needed him to come over without notice several times and he is here in minutes. Craig Tyszka has not mentioned payment EVER. He is VERY professional and my experience with him has been amazing. He is AMAZING! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is thinking of buying a new home. If I would have been more educated on buying a older home and had called Simple Science Inspections to do my home inspection first I would have NEVER bought my house!!

+ -1 moreCraig Tyszka is extremely professional and takes his job seriously to give the buyer the best information possible. You well get your money's worth and more. He takes the time to go over the house from top to bottom checking for any water damage, heat loss, electrical problems, structural issues, etc. Craig is a "go-getter" who works from the moment he arrives till he is done. Craig is honest in pointing out areas where he may not always be able to get into an area to check it out as thoroughly as he would want to. He is very personable and does not mind taking the time to answer any questions, & pointing out deficiencies to give you a good understanding of what he is finding. I highly recommend Craig to anyone who is in need of a home inspection.

+ -1 moreMr. Craig Tyszka arrived at the scheduled time, prepared and organized. He balanced a high level of professionalism with a very personable demeanor, making the experience very comfortable. He explained the process and identified the high tech equipment he was using and the purpose it served. Craig is impressively knowledgeable, has a remarkable eye for detail and confirms/backs all his findings up with scientific technology. He was extremely thorough; to the point of exceeding my expectations. I got the impression he sincerely enjoys his job, loves helping others and sharing helpful information. I found his work to be so valuable that I'm shocked by the competitive rates he offers. His report was outstanding! The one I recieved is well detailed, with very clear photographs and easy to understand. He got to the bottom of what was causing some significant health problems, and then assisted me with a resolution. I am so greatful for his high caliber work, which protected my child and I.
