Parrish Insulation

After purchasing our new home and reading the inspection reports we knew that there was little to no insulation in the attics of the house. Talking with my neighbors I could not find any place that was local to us other than the large home chains. I finally spoke with another company that was doing work for me and got the name of Parrish Insulation. After leaving a couple of messages (found out he does this PT and is very busy with his FT career) the gentleman called me back. (I'll be darned if I can't remember his name, but he was very polite and professional.) He came out and took measurements and gave me the estimate to add 14" of insulation to the house as there was little to none in a majority of the attic. We agreed on the set date for him to do the installation and he was very prompt actually calling me and reminding me of the work. I was very impressed with the work that was performed as well as no mess left in the house. I checked out his work in the attics and true to his word there was 14" of blown insulation in the attics. Hopefully this summer we'll really feel the difference.

I talked to Patric Parrish by phone to set the date of the work. He arrived on time the day we agreed. He began immediately preparing the attic for the additional insulation. They installed a vent pipe to extend the bathroom vents above the above the level of insulation. They installed heat buildup protection for the 16 can lights of my home. His machine and supplies were contained in a truck that backed into my driveway to provide all the product necessary to do the job. He shared his opinion about my home insulation needs. His advice on further insulation and weatherization was helpful. His job and business is just attic insulation. He does it as a part time second job. They swept the floor of the garage beneath the entry to the attic. The job site was clean and neat when they left.
