Shane's Handyman Service

Shane came and advised we had mold in our bathroom wall. After checking with other "bathroom specialists", Shane's pricing was more reasonable, giving us what we actually asked for, and able to get the job done before they could. He always worked with a smile on his face and was clear and direct about how progress was being made. We'll definitely be hiring Shane again as he works on a variety of projects and has done great work multiple times for us.

Shane did an excellent job of replacing our old siding that had begun to rot away from water damage. He was quick and efficient and did the work for a fair price. This was the second project he has done for us and both worked out very well.

he is hard to get hold off for projects, showed up in morning and didnot confirm appt, asked me to help him to hand wall clock when i told him it is 60 lbs heavy and bring help, punched holes on wall and then readjust picture frames and apologized that i didnot measure it right, wall pictures hanged lightly and had to be told to screw bottom parts as well,didnot clean job site. Not able to accomplish job.First quoted $140 and for his own mistakes took him longer and hence charged $160.

Perfectly as planned. Professionally & precisely installed new laminate flooring. Stayed on our mutually agreed schedule. No surprises on price.

Shane did an excellent job on our ceiling remodel project. He installed pine paneling on a very high ceiling (20 ft. peak) and repaired/prepped a lower ceiling for painting. He was always punctual, friendly and professional in doing the job. We highly recommend him as a handyman.

I have used Shane in the past and he did a nice job, but in the past 2 years he does not return calls and does not respond to inquiries. Acts like he doesn't want the jobs. I was needing someone to do some painting and add a laundry room in the garage, but no luck

Shane was great! Very professional. Responsive to my request and arrived on time as agreed. Cleaned up neatly after himself. Price was fair for work performed. Attention to detail was much better than some other contractors.

Shane is your dream "Handyman". He's a problem solver in the truest sense. Gave me a fair quote and stayed within that quote and always showed up on time and did a superb job.

Pretty straight forward. Checked all gutters, removed debris from those that were full, contained all debris in a bucket and left no signs of a mess.

Shane Jenkins arrived within one hour after calling. He easily assessed the problem and fixed it. I was impressed by his professionalism and getting the job done. While at our home he also repaired a fan and provided a very reasonable estimate to paint the kitchen and dining room areas. We will definitely hire Mr. Jenkins in the future.

This is the third time I have hired Mr. Shane Jenkins to do work at my house. He replaced 2 bathroom sink drains, one bathtub drain,and bathroom hardware. He installed a new 6 light bar above my bathroom vanity. He hung a large mirror in my hallway and replaced the entryway light. In the kitchen he replaced the light above the sink and the ceiling light. He also had me return a bathroom drain system which I did not need and saved me the labor and the cost of the drain system that I did not need. He also gave me the box with the number of the light bulbs for my vanity light which I thought was very considerate because these lights are not the standard lights you find in regular light fixtures and therefore saved me the trouble of trying to locate them when they go out. I had no problem leaving him in my house while I went to the hardware store to return the drain system I had purchased and spent some time locating another drain by itself. I trust him completely. He was on time and was very professional and worked quickly. I highly recommend him and will hire in the future. He knows plumbing and electrical wiring. He also offers advice when asked. Thank you Shane!

He did not respond back to me with either a bid or message telling me he wasn't interested in doing the work I needed. This just left me hanging.

Arrived early, and easily addressed my problem. Would definitely use in the future.

I hesitate to write this review, because we would like to keep Shane all to ourselves. He is an excellent handy man, and very professional and personable. We hired him to do a variety of repairs on a vacant rental house. Shane was prompt, got the work done in a very timely manner, and was great at communicating with us. We had a damaged door frame in a bathroom, and my husband was going to tear out the entire door frame to replace it. Shane was able to repair it without replacing the frame, and his work was done so well you can't even see where it was originally damaged. He did small plumbing repairs, replaced an exterior patio light, repaired roof guttering that wasn't draining properly, etc. We plan to use him on all our rental properties in the future.

Let me first say, that I've been extremely hesitant about hiring any handyman, as the estimates was receiving by email from others were outrageous!!! And I was very skeptical & certainly didn't want to be taken advantage of! I'm very happy to say that Shane put all that behind me thankfully!! Shane arrived on time, very friendly & got to work right away. My blinds took a little longer than I anticipated, but this was due to the way the blinds were cut. Shane made them work great though! He hung 2 curtain rods for me that I'd been trying to do myself, well I couldn't get them up correctly. Shane fixed them perfectly! My ceiling air vents needed to be replaced and Shane brought 2 new ones with him. The vents were the exact size and very relieved to have new ones. My old vents were bent, making it almost impossible to replace my air filters monthly. Shane then removed the old caulk on 2 outside windows that had to be decades old!! He then spread new caulk & took one of my screens to be fixed. I am very pleased with Shane! His work ethic is top notch!! And believe me, as I said I've been very hesitant of hiring any handyman. Shane's prices are not over the top either, which is also extremely important to me. Shane does high quality work & I am very satisfied! So much so, that I have scheduled for Shane to come back in September. I HIGHLY recommend Shane & look forward to working with him again!!!!

My husband called and emailed last week and then again today. No response whatsoever. Maybe there should be a subheading under handymen. Ones that want work and ones that don't!

Shane is outstanding...he can do just about everything. I've had him complete a lot of different jobs at my house. He works hard. His work is excellent. He has great ideas too. We've also had him do work at the small business. I will use him exclusively. You can't be in a hurry because he's not always immediately available but he's been there asap when I really needed him. He is one guy that is in demand. He is worth the $ and the wait (if there is a wait).
