 + -1 moreI had a small flood in my front yard from a leak in the main line from the meter to the house. Schuler was the only company I could get to come out that day. They found the leak right away and they were able to patch it. But they suggested I might consider replacing the line. They must have been reading my mind but that was going to be my next question. They said they could do it right away but I had to hold them off because I couldn't be there. But they showed up on time the day they were scheduled to be there. The dug up the line replaced it and did a little extra work for me while they were there. The Plumbers were very respectful of our time and property. I have been telling everyone about them and would recommend them to any person looking for a plumber.
Description of Work: They had to run a new water line from the meter to the house.

 + 0 moreSchuler Enterprises has been out several times to help with my plumbing needs. Larry is the first technician I met from Schuler. Within an hour of calling for assistance (on a Friday afternoon), Larry was on his way to my house to fix my tankless water heater. Larry has a great attitude and is very knowledgeable and thorough with his work. During my first service call, Schuler's owner, Russell, also stopped by to deliver some parts for the repair. He is a very nice man who takes pride in hiring well-trained, honest technicians. I was so impressed with Schuler's work, I have since asked them to come to my house and work on other plumbing issues. I HIGHLY recommend Schuler Enterprises!

 + -1 moreI like them. They don't try to come up with things that are not wrong that they can fix. I trust them, that's all. If it is fixed, it is because it needed to be fixed, not because they need a dollar. They were just fine. They did a good job, cleaned up and it was perfect. They always get to us really fast and I appreciate that. When we call, we know that we are going to see them pretty quick.
Description of Work: I have used Schuler Enterprises. We had a commode that just kept running and running, so they came out to fix it. They also replaced the toilet at my moms', which was a bigger thing.

 + -1 morePlumbers came within two hours of call. They explained the issue thoroughly and discussed options. Opted for less expensive repair to see if that fixed problem. We have used Schuler over the years and have appreciated the level of service. We feel they have saved us money in the long-run by making suggestions to replace old cut-off valves, etc. Schuler's owner, rather than taking an aggressive approach, thought about an odor issue for a bit and came up with an inexpensive and quick repair. It looked as though we were going to have to tear out a portion of our kitchen wall and cabinet, but with his solution, it was fixed!
Description of Work: Shower faucet would not turn off. Replaced diverter.

 + 0 moreI had frozen pipes at house during recent cold weather. Called multiple plumbers but received no callbacks except for Schuler. They were able to set up appointment to come out within a couple hours - by that point I had managed to thaw pipes myself. I called and let them know. During that call I asked if they could install a frost-proof faucet. They came out early the next morning and let me know my current outdoor faucets were in good shape and didn't need to be upgraded. So in the end no services were performed but they were responsive and punctual. Would definately call them if I have plumbing needs in the future.
Description of Work: Thawed out frozen pipes.

 + 1 moreWe have learned from experience that it is less expensive to pay someone to do things right the first time, rather than going with a cheaper plumber that does inferior work. Two years ago before our former renter moved in, we remodeled our rent house bathroom. We didn't call Schuler's because we didn't think we could afford what they would charge. Instead, we went with another plumbing company...who just made things worse (water leaks, blocked toilet pipe, etc.) We ended up hiring another company to come back to correct all the problems...which included having to remove one wall of our newly tiled bathroom to access the pipes. Anyway, we learned a very expensive lesson...if we had not tried to do the work "cheaply"...and if we had called Schueler's in the first place, we would have saved a lot of money, frustration and disappointment. So, was Schuler's probably more expensive than most of the other local plumbers? Yes. Was it worth the extra cost? Yes. If Larry, the plumber, had not volunteered to crawl under the house, then we would have thought we had our bath tub problem fixed. But we would have also ended up with water running directly under our house each time the tub was used. We wanted our plumbing fixed correctly, and we are very confident that Schuler's provided us that assurance. No, they aren't cheap. Yes, they are worth what they charge because they do the job professionally and are pleasant to have working to fix the problems.
Description of Work: We called Schuler when we were preparing our rent house for new renters. The bathroom tub was draining very, very slowly. We tried things like Liquid Plumber, but it didn't help. We also noticed that the outside clean-out pipe had been broken off (probably by a lawn mower) and that needed to be replaced. Schuler's sent out a licensed plumber and an apprentice plumber to the rent house. Both young men were professional in their attitudes and extremely thoughtful. They first worked to clean out the tub drain (and pulled out a ball of hair about the size of a small cat) and the drain worked wonderfully. They next went outside to check on what needed to be done with the broken clean-out pipe. It was decided they would come back the next day to dig it up and replace it. The plumber said he had to charge for one hour (service call) and since he hadn't spent that much time at our house that day, he said he would crawl under the house to check the actual pipes in the bathroom (another problem, most modern day plumbers do not like to work on older houses that require crawling under houses to work on pipes.) He came out and said he knew why the drain was working so well... once the hair was removed, the water rushed down the drain and straight out of a hole in the old pipe under the house. They came back the next day and did the outside work of replacing the broken clean-out pipe. He set it flush to the ground so lawn mowers would pass over it in the future. The area around where they dug up the dirt was cleaned up and smoothed out. Then the plumber crawled under the house and worked on replacing the old corroded drain pipe from the tub to the outside pipe. Both men worked very hard to get things done correctly. They were also very thoughtful in the fact that when it was necessary to come inside from their outside dirty work, they removed their boots on the porch rather than tracking mud/dirt into the house. Our rent house is in "The Village" (section of Oklahoma City) which always presents a problem when hiring a plumber. Many certified plumbers do not want to pay the high fee for a work permit in "The Village". Several years ago we asked the manager of Johnnie's Hamburgers (which is located near our rent house) who they called for plumbing problems. They gave us Schuler's name and phone number. We did use them once a few years ago, and they did excellent work, but the cost was very high (in our opinion at that time).

 + -1 moreI asked this company whether the gas company would do the digging and relaying for free and they told me they would not and that they would have to do it. They did not quote the job but did all the digging and as it turns out, another plumber told us that the gas company would have done it for free so I confronted them and we had to negotiate the price considerably lower than they billed us for. His original invoice was for about $6,000 and we settled on a payment of $1,000. I am concerned that they misled us and will not use them again in the future. In the end they made it right but we had a lot of hassle getting it done.
Description of Work: I used Schuler Enterprises to repair a gas leak. As it turns out they had to dig a trench and relay the gas line because when the house was built originally the gas line was not buried 18 inches below ground.

 + -1 moreThey job went very well. They were able to get out to my daughters house that afternoon. When I explained the situation they were able to get there immediately. They thought it would be a day or two but he called me back and said there was a guy in her area that got done with his job quickly and since he was going to be that far out they could get to her that afternoon. There were some water lines not connected and they were able to find out what the problem was and they were able to charge me less than they quoted. They were honest. I'm going to use them here when I have a problem.

 + -1 moreUpon moving into a new house, I discoverd lots of plumbing issues. I called Schuler Enterprises on Saturday to see if they could come early in the week. They were able to come the following Monday morning. They were at my house for about 7 hours doing work on various issues that needed fixing, including installing a new toilet. They also checked all my plumbing for me before the finished to make sure I would not have any more issues. Their plumbers are extreemly nice and curtious. I have used them before and will use them again anytime I have plumbing issues.
Description of Work: Plumbing - replaced toilet, fixed leaking facucets, pipes, etc.

 + -1 moreWe had a problem with the drains in the home where when we flushed the toilet, the sink would bubble up and girggle. We called Schuller Enterprises, Inc. and they were able to come within hours of when we called. Two people came to the home. They snaked all of our pluming lines and replaced a part under the sink. It took about two hours. We were very pleased with the professional way they responded and took care of the issue. This was the third or fourth time we have used this company for plumbing needs and have been as pleased every time they have done work for us.
