Route 66 Plumbing

Mike was able to pinpoint the problem area in the 2nd floor bathtub. When shower head would spray around the faucet faceplate water would seep through and drip onto the 1st floor ceiling. Mike caulked around faceplate and replaced faucet washers to stop drip.

Went great! Mike came right over, identified and fixed the problem.

After having another plumber over 3 times, putting up with his putting me down then lying to me this company came in a saved the day! Got my sewage unclogged when the other company had just charged me 3 THREE times and after a week it was unresolved then couldn't come back for a week and wanted to tear up my pipes and outside my house! Route 66 is honest, works hard and gets the job done trying hard to get things right with the shortest amount of down time. Highly! HIGHLY recommend them!

Worked with me to arrive on a short notice (we were without water) and performed the job quickly. Was careful to not get water on carpet (most importantly he warned me ahead of time) and worked to not tear up my existing pipes and such. Was polite and explained things.

Mike was very knowledgeable and skilled. He arrived when he said he would and made repairs quickly and skillfully. He was very helpful with other questions I had about my water heater. Charge was reasonable for the time he spent and replacement parts.

Mike was great! He quickly responded to my call. He provided me a time estimate that he would be at my house. He was able to arrive a few minutes early. Corrected my issue.

He showed up w/i the time-frame that we scheduled. He changed out 2 bathroom faucets, adding shut-off valves for future use. He also gave us suggestions on renovations (when that time comes). He was friendly and knowledgeable. We would recommend and will use him again, if needed.

Two professionals arrived on time and did the job quickly and professionally. They were very polite and cleaned up before leaving. I recommend without hesistation.

The plumbers did everything they were supposed to do. The reason for the B is the first time the valves were changed out, I discovered several hours later that they were leaking. They came right back out and fixed it. The other things they did, they did well. The price was very reasonable, the work was right (except for that one thing, that they fixed), they were prompt, and responsive.

They came on time fixed the problem in dishwasher drai and unclogged drain.they were effecint and explained what they did. Very professional

I have called Mike several times. The first 5 to 6 times were because our toilet kept backing. After the second call you recommended running a camera to determine if something was causing the problems. I thought $300 to run a camera was high. Boy was I wrong. After 3 or 4 more visits I had Mike run the camera. He found and retrieved some debris that was causing the problem. I should of trusted him. Since then I have contacted Mike for all my plumbing needs. He installed a water softner for $300. He also installed a whole home water filter for just under $200. He has always been on time and has been reliable and courteous.

I called Mike at Route 66 Plumbing at 8:45am on a Sunday morning and he was at my house at 9:25am (in less than an hour) to do the job. He explained his prices on the phone, showed me what, how, and why as he did the job and the repair was quick and professional. He gave me a military discount and was very very professional. He inquired about anything other plumbing needs and was on his way in about an hour! What a great service on a Sunday morning.....now I can go take a shower......Thanks Mike!

Great service! Courteous and on time.

We'd tried and tried to get the drain unclogged, but it kept backing up. Route 66 plumbing got it all done in less than an hour and so offered to use the remaining time, (they have a minimum 1 hour labor charge,) fixing anything else that might need to be done. So he fixed a couple of running toilets and started on the shower. The shower turned out to be a more complicated job, (which I had suspected, since I'd tried to fix it myself) and he had to go for a special part. But the overall charge seemed VERY reasonable for the work he accomplished and he was very nice about explaining maintenance and care of the septic system, which I appreciated. Very Pleased! He was prompt, too!

He came and quickly fixed the problem. We were charged just the minimum price.

It was a family owned business and he evidently went out of business. The following guy that they gave it to was absolutely awful. They didn’t give me the deal, they messed up and they didn’t listen to what I wanted. They over charged me and they did an awful, awful job. Harold Poling owned the company. It was a father owned business and his son took it over. I am not sure if his son was ill. I tried to call him not to long ago to see if they are back in business. Poling Plumbing Co you couldn’t beat him. They were excellent. They were the best. I have had him for many years in all the houses. I have always used him as the primary plumber. He truly is the best, honest and courteous. He would come as soon as he can. But now it is a very questionable company. The last time he came, he over charged me. They had a deal online and he didn’t give me the deal. Then he didn’t do what I asked him to do, he didn’t fix the problem. It was the guy who took over Poling Plumbing. I never could get Harold or his son. I keep calling because I am hoping that they come back into business. When Harold Poling ran his company and when his son ran the company, it was AAA. They were very honorable and excellent. They were responsive, very good, very caring and very fair on prices. He never over charged me. There wasn’t anything bad. When I call Harold, I don’t get him anymore. If he comes back in business I would use him again in the future.

This guy does not listen, or if he did, he does not hear, or just does whatever he wants, then sticks the bill on you.

We really like him. We have used him for several years. If something is not right, he comes back. He is easy to get hold of. We would recommend that you call him.

I've used Route 66 Plumbing on several occasions, always with complete satisfaction. They have always been prompt and courteous and done the done job right. Most recently, my husband was out of town when I discovered a hot water tank was leaking and flooding into the garage. They drove to my house about 9:00 on a Saturday night to shut the water off and didn't charge me anything. They replaced the broken tank the next morning. Only once did there continue to be an issue with a toilet not working properly. When I called them back, they came out ASAP and fixed the problem, no charge except for the part (small $).

They were excellent, curious, and efficient.

Timely resonse & excellent service. Upstairs toilet was leaking. Wax ring was deteriorated and was replaced. This requied the toilet to be removed and reinstalled. Two tub "lift & turn" drains were severly carroded and needed to be replaced. Very difficult to remove, but he was able to get them out and install new "lift & turn" tub drains (2). Repained Delta Shower cartridge that was dripping. Removed out-door hydrant which had been severely leaking (unrepairable). This required chipping away the cement surrounding the hrdrant and cutting the copper pipe to remove (connection was inside the wall). Installed new hydrant, soddered new copper pipe and cemented hydrant to well. Arrived as scheduled and was very professional in every aspect. Very skilled and competent.

These guys give real, upfront pricing. There were no hidden charges (like the $35 "trip fee" I had to pay one plumber to just come and look at the problem, or the $25 fuel charge one company wanted to tack on to my bill). I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone I cared about. The technician was so respectful of our home and our children. He was very descriptive in his explanation of his work and his recommendations for preventing future problems. I feel like he saved us hundreds of dollars down the road. Just a great company to do business with here in the city. It is no wonder they came so highly recommended.
