Description of Work: With the recent high-winds and storms we lost 8 tiles off our roof. Petra came right out and replaced the missing and damaged tiles.

+ -1 moreIt was a nice surprise to come home and find that what I called about was taken care of without me even being there. It looks fantastic u couldn't even tell that they had replaced them.
Description of Work: 2 years ago they put my roof on. We had high winds around this past Christmas, and 3 shingles came off the roof. I called the insurance company for the house. They told me that they would need to be replaced . It was under warranty with Petra so I called they came and replaced everything while I was at work

Description of Work: It took way too long to do roof from hail damage. It took 6 days with workers leaving trash all over yard and leaving ladders up against the house over night. One night I had to go outside to see why our brand new aircondioner wasn't working. I found a pallet covering it and it burried in roof trash. I had to wade thru nails and roof trash to reach the airconditioner to uncover it so it could function properly. Everything was burning hot at 11pm at night. (fire hazzard?). I definitely had a problem with the 4plus hours of naps the workers would take everyday all over my yard. One guy was laying down by my frontdoor smoking. We are still dealing almost a year later to get things completed our insurance have already paid for. For example, pool decking that hasn't been properly fixed. The person who they had come out made they damage worse! It has been a horrible experience and I would NEVER trust them to repair anything at my house ever again. (forgot to mention, I caught them doing the valleys to my roof wrong. We were to have metal inlays which they did not do. They had to redo the valleys which added more time. We are still waiting to have our pool decking fixed properly which has been paid for already.)

+ -1 moreExtremely pleased with this company. My roof looks great. They did a great job. They cleaned after themselves. The manager went to the roof, he wasn't please with what he saw and he called the crew again and fixed the problem. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

+ -1 moreThey were very organized. We discussed the process before hand so that we knew what to expect. They showed up when they said they would, did what the said they would and cleaned up after themselves. We haven't had much rain since the roof was replaced, but we have had work done by them in the past and were very happy with the work they did then. They did run into a problem during the process, but we discussed options with them and were happy with the resolution. We were happy with their work.

They cleaned up and they were gone. There was no nail left over. They were very friendly. They came out and explained everything to us. The workers came out exactly when they said they would. Everything was good.

+ -1 moreThey were excellent and would not be able to say anything better. I would recommend them for anything to anyone. They cleaned up a mess that another roofer that my insurance company had hired probably because they were the cheapest. I had some problems with that roofer so they had to fix it and I paid for it myself. The estimate was right on mark. They were right here on time and did exactly what they said they would; in fact they did extra. They had bought everything that they needed ahead of time because I had saved some shingles and they wanted to know where those were. They took care of it while I was at work and everything was done through email. They were good and deserve a good write up.

+ -1 moreAfter getting a bad estimate from another company I checked edmondbusiness.com for another company. Found one and checked out on Angies List also. Called and found the rep very helpful and professional. Gave an estimate and determined perhaps the insurance company had overlooked that I had lifetime shingles previously. They worked with insurance and got me an upgrade to the original estimate. Chose Malarkey shingles because they now have a plant in OKC. Work was performed quickly and very professional. Clean up was exceptional. Added two vents for me also. They will be back next year for another house.

+ -1 moreThis company previously vetted by my insurance company. The sales manager spent about 30-45 minutes talking about the company and its principals and precedures. He said he could take care of all the roofing and gutter requirements and I could be as involved or not involved as I wanted to be. My wife selected the shingle and color and and we got out of the way. Job well done. The work crews showed up on time, worked hard and kept the work area clean during some very hot July days following the "The Geat Hail Storm of the Oklahoma City metro area in 2012." I certainly would hire again.
Description of Work: Removed two layers of shingles (wood and composition). Put down radiant barrier decking. Reroofed with heavy composition singles. Arranged for the repair or replacement of all gutters or gutter screens. Hauled away old singles and cleaned up worksite.

+ -1 moreI met with the owner after calling to make an appointment, he came by, looked at the leaking area and worked up an estimate to remove the composite shingles and wooden shingles, re-deck, re-shingle and a add a vent ridge, After my husband and I discussed the estimate we called them to accept the proposal. We took the paperwork to their office, met with the project manager and setup a time for them to do the work. They showed up as scheduled, did the work, cleaned up after themselves and left. The project manager called that evening and we scheduled a meeting with him to examine the work and pay. When he arrived we asked him to straighten the heater exhaust pipe which he did and he went into the attic to verify that the whirlybird and heater exhaust pipe were connected correctly.
Description of Work: Our roof has composite shingles on top of wood shingles in some sections. The wood shingles have begun to deteriorate which has caused some leaks. We had a section of our roof replaced to repair the leaks. It hasn't rained since the repair, but I am happy with the professionalism of all of the Petra people whom I have come into contact with to date. The quote for the work was accurate, the work was done in a timely manner and they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves.

+ -1 moreWe are not going to use them again. We called them to repair our leaky roof and it is leaking even more now. They did come back and redo do it, but the fact that they had to come back was aggravating. They should have do it right the first time. After the second time it does not leak. The only reason why we had them come back to redo it was because they were the ones the did it in the first place.

They showed up when they said that they would. They did an exceptional job with clean up. When they were leaving their trailer slipped off onto our yard and left a trench mark. They actually were courteous enough to come back and lay new sod down for their mistake. Overall a great experience with a great company.

+ -1 moreThey worked pretty quickly, they got it done in 2 days. It has been raining a lot here and the attic is dry. They did leave a mess. We have been finding nails around the yard. They also broke a few planters while they were throwing stuff off the roof.

+ 0 moreI really enjoyed working with Petra. Ricky was very nice and professional, as was his sub-contracted carpenter Joe. They did great work. After the project was finished, I had a few pinhole leaks that can be expected with a new flat roof. Ricky spent the time to fix these problem areas right and they have not leaked since. I would totally recommend them.
Description of Work: Petra demolished my existing 14' by 20' corrugated aluminum patio cover and replaced it with a wood framed flat roof with a torch down roof.
