My Moen Digital IO Shower valve stopped working and needed the replacement installed. The new U by Moen valve is smaller and fittings were different so job for Hi-Tech had to solder pex connectors on valve fittings and install valve. Great job

Great. I needed Joe to replace the fittings for my new shower controller because the old system used larger fittings. I like the flat price rate. No need to worry how long he took to get parts. Also, did all the soldering in the truck which was very considerate considering the cold weather. Great Job.

Electronic water shutoff valve installation

Tech or office dropped the ball. Told my daughter they would let us know on Thursday if the could do the project and/or give us a bill. No contact except bill on Friday and when I contacted them they stated they called, well if they did I didn’t talk to them and no voice message. Worse thing was they said they couldn’t do the job and the house was without water for five extra days do to poor communication

Although the plumbers were great, the leak detector calculated a price of $1600 not including the $300 cost of detecting the leak. He told me it was based on the fact that it would probably take a full day to complete. It actually took 3 hours but the company wouldn't adjust the cost. I would go with another company next time.

For the initial call in February, I had found a leak behind the tub/shower in one of my bathrooms. And, also noticing that there were multitude of various types of piping, I asked the plumber at that time to completely replace the tubing behind the tub/shower with PEX. His attitude was professional but respectful. He even was patient enough to answer all of my questions, as I was watching what he was doing not because I am a micromanager but because I had never seen the PEX tubing before and was interested in its performance and properties. He said he would have to come out a second and final time to finish putting up the faucet, handle, and shower head after the wallboard and tile are installed. The second visit involved replacing the outside faucet for the back of the house because the pipe had burst within the wall. Again, I watched him for a bit to see how an outside faucet is installed. He took the time to really clean out the stuff inside the hole around the old faucet and properly filled it in with brick mortar. He is very efficient with his time and does the work quickly but thoroughly. The last visit, yesterday, was to finish putting the shower handle, showerhead and tub faucet on. After he had told me that there was dust and residue inside the tub drain, I told him I didn't have time to clean it up before he arrived and that I would do it after he left. I didn't watch him do all of the work this time {grin} so when I came back to answer a question he had, I noticed he had cleaned all of it out! I was extremely impressed with not only his plumbing knowledge and skills, but his respect for my house in that he cleaned up after his work was complete. In this visit, he also replaced the outside faucet on the front of the house. When he first showed up, he asked me what was the other thing I wanted to have him do while he was here. I told him the front outside faucet's thread is messed up to the point where I couldn't tighten a garden hose all the way; it seems to stop about midpoint. He tried it with a piece of hosing he had, while cleaning dirt out from the thread on the faucet, but this didn't work well either. He then noticed two small knicks in the thread that he thought was causing the inability of the hose to properly connect. As with the back outside faucet, he took the time to really clean out the old silicone (there was alot of it!) and ensure the hole was wide enough to allow installation of the new faucet and inside piping. He then cleaned up and took away all of the silicone and other debris from the outside faucet replacement. I can't say enough about this plumber and the company. All calls were taken with respect and asked me questions to ensure they understood what work needed to be done. This is a very thorough, knowledgeable, and respectful company!!

The hi-tech employee was very professional and very personable. He was very thorough and did a great job under some very adverse rain conditions. He went the extra mile to keep my household clean. He explained what he had found and answered all my questions. I will definitely use them in the future for any plumbing issues.

I placed a request for a clogged pipe in my kitchen. I received a call from a CSR and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Before the serviceman arrived, I was given a call to let me know he was on the way. Brian arrived on time and upon checking to see that what I believed was a blockage deeper in my pipes than just a simple clogged drain, he did in fact confirm that I had a blockage well past the u-bend under my sink... he went right to work and had my pipes cleared out and my drains working freely within 30 minutes... I was VERY happy with his work and professionalism... the price was a little more than I expected but that was my fault for misunderstanding the CSR. I was told that there was a fee for coming out to find the problem and then if work was done it would be more. I thought that meant that the fee for coming out would be included in the price of the services rendered like it has been with other services I have had done after the servicemen came out and given the estimate and then I had them do the work. But, this place is different. The cost of coming out to give an estimate is NOT included in the service costs. I could understand paying that fee if I did NOT have them do the service they were giving me an estimate for. That wasn’t made clear up front and it is the only reason why I can't give a perfect score. Granted, it is a misunderstanding on my part. But, that really should be made clear before hand! The charge for coming out was $89 and then there was a hourly charge of $108 per hour. You pay for the full hour no matter if it takes them 10 minutes or 60 minutes. I will still use them if I ever need plumbing services again.

Joe came in, he was professorially dress. My dog was barking a lot, he made the dog fell safe. He found the leak under the sink. We needed a new disposal. Joe gave me the price in advance and I agreed. Then he left to get the new disposal and installed it quickly, took the old one with him and left area very clean. Thank you Joe.

The service was outstanding. First off when I called the number the ladies on the answering line were awesome and helped me get someone out that day. I had a time conflict due to my work and they were able to accommodate quickly. Once the Repairman (Joe A) arrived he was exactly on time and even a little early which was great. He went directly to the source to identify the leak from the ceiling which was coming from a leaking shower knob as well as the siding. I was so scared because I thought a pipe might have exploded or since it had been raining so much the last couple of days it was coming from somewhere else there was no telling because I just had someone mess with my gutters as well. Anyways he even took part of the wall off behind the shower/tub to assess the pipes and to see exactly where the issue was. He was so professional and kind and you could tell he really wanted to make the issue was resolved and wanted to make me feel comfortable about the issue because I literally was so worried since this was my first house and was freaking out a bit. He fixed the problem and said if I had any issues to just call them back and they would resend someone out. Lovely company to work with deff worth the money to have peace of mind. I would recommend Joe, but I am sure all of their guys would be great.

We had one of our hot water heaters go out on a Saturday over a 3-day weekend. They came out immediately on Saturday, and were immediately upfront - their supplier was closed, it would be Tuesday before the repair was ready. We initially decided to do a tankless hot water heater, even though it would likely be in the $5k range. Given some of the issues relating to routing in our house, they advised the cheaper route. The work was flawless, and I will hire them again to do more work.

Excellent. I sent a review to Hi Tech directly noting the names of the folks who did the work. They were great. On time, knowledgeable, thorough, and cared about their personal reputation for good work as well as the company's reputation for good work. Definitely re-hire company.

Clog removed and bio-friendly drain treatment sold at internet-comparable price to prevent future clogs. Friendly, answered questions & did a good job at cleanup.

It went fine. They had to dig up the backyard. I’ve heard they are a little pricey, but they did good work.

I think they should get a high rating including with their price, it was very fair and superior than others in the area.

Slab leak locate was excellent. Leak was under tiled bathroom floor. Repair was dissapointing since in accessing the leak they jackhammered the tile and broke a lot more tiles than they would if they had grinded out the grout and chipped the tiles away before breaking the slab. In another review a client praised them for disturbing so few tiles (one 12 by 12), but I did not receive the same precise treatment. I have 4 spare tiles, but they broke 9.

To be fair, the person taking my call was pleasant. However it didn’t go any further than that because I refused to pay for someone to ask for my business.

The insurance company referred me to them. I spoke with someone over the phone and emailed pictures to them. They never got back to me so I moved on to someone else.

Great. Made an appointment that was convenient for us. 2 servicemen came out and got right to work. Went up on the roof with their auger and ran it down about 25-30 feet. There was a lot of build up because we were doing a lot of extra laundry the past few weeks. Runs great Very professional and courteous. He recommended to run just an empty load of just hot water down about every 2 weeks to help break up the soap

Hired Hi-Tech Plumbing in July of 2017 to unclog a clog in the second bathroom, replace drain of toilet and to install new toilet. Despite telling the plumber I did not want him to use the auger from the hot water closet drain and wanted for him to do from the laundry room roof vent like the another plumber from the same company has done so since 2012, he did otherwise. I am not sure why the plumber did not aug from the bathroom sink drain, bathroom vent roof drain, and or even augged the main drain. Consequently, the auger broke. I was given the option either he left it in the drain and or I pay as required per the policy. I stated I did not feel that was fair, since I felt it was his mistake. I paid $1,800.00 for the mistake. In addition to reset the hot water tank. Which was not leaking on the 24th of July and begin leaking after re-installing the hot water tank on the 25th of July. I was not made aware of it leaking until the 26th of July. I do not feel it was unreasonable to tell me prior to re-installing so I would have had the option to go out and purchase a new hot water tank. Or to contact Bradford & White under the warranty. Especially since our dog goes in and out of the garage to protect our dog from being burned from hot water. The hot water tank, I did notice it leans to the right. Not sure why it does. And today, the new toilet still cannot be used as it gets clogged despite not flushing toilet paper and placing it in the trash and number two is done in the master. Not sure why either other than for whatever reason the replace of the drain and the new toilet did not solve anything for us. A camera inspection was done on the drains, however, as I requested and was told the video would be e-mailed was not attached to the e-mail only the invoice. Since, I could not be in two places at once, I only viewed a small fraction of the drain. I saw the drain was silver, clean and had water running through it and a shadow in which the light of the camera could not shine upon. I will have to pay another plumbing company to perform another camera inspection of the drains, as if Hi-Tech's invoice if it contains any inaccuracies when the house is sold, I cannot subject myself to misrepresent to a buyer and must disclose. And I hope the other drain inspection does not find errors pertaining to the toilet drain was done and if it does not confirm what was stated within the invoice. Either way, I feel if the plumber had listened to me and had communicated with me, this may have been avoided. Especially since we had just returned from our home state due to my father's death. The hot water tank was turned down by me twice on May 25 and July 7 and turned up by me on June 2 and July 17. As well as my neighbors were caring for our pets and were accessing the laundry room right next to the the hot water tank closet and entering in and out of the garage through the side garage door to feed our pets. I attempted over the months to speak to the manger and finally on January 5, 2018, I was contacted. I am disappointed despite trying to explain what had occurred in my own home what I felt was disregarded and was hoping for Hi-Tech to do right by me as a long-term customer. The conversation seemed more argumentative and I felt was unprofessional as to certain negative comments made that just were not necessary. In the end nothing was resolved. And to be honest, had I known the call was going to be so unpleasant, it would have been best not to call me in the first place. I only gave the opportunity because the past plumber who unclogged drains did a great job and he was very nice and friendly. In addition, I rarely will dispute an invoice and when I have it was addressed and a business would try to resolve it in an amicable manner for both of us to feel it was fair to both of us. Example, a double entry. Really a minor, dispute. I will not be returning to Hi-Tech Plumbing. Instead, I believe I found another plumbing company who seems honest, professional and will make the repairs. I will not refer anyone to Hi-Tech in the future. It is best to parts ways despite having to pay out of my own pocket for what is visually apparent to me, we need for sure a new hot water tank and fearful of the discovery of what the camera inspection may not confirm and become aware another error may have happened by the same plumber.

A previous plumber thought that the faucet would need to be replaced. Instead, a washer replacement took care of the problem.
