Excellent!

The contractors started on time, worked professionally and cleaned up when through. The painting took a little longer than expected due to rain. The only "mishap" was that a small cut was made on the undersurface of the toilet seat, probably when opening the box. This was so minor I did not even discuss it with the installers. Overall, I was pleased with the workmanship, price and communications aspect of this entity and would be pleased to recommend them to my family and friends.

Two weeks later our house flooded-completely!! An inch of water in every room because a hose connection at the sink disconnected. We had to have new wood floors in 4 rooms installed, new cabinets in our kitchen and laundry room and repairs to cabinets in master bathroom. Now it is March, and just as the work is finishing we had our second flood from the same sink, second pipe connection. We had a plumber come out to look at it, and it seems the ferrule connection was installed upside down in the sinks. The first damage totalled $45K, the second flood--we are not sure yet. It was the holidays, I pulled my son's christmas presents out of the water, we did not have Christmas this year. it is March, and I am starting a new job in 2 months and we have not yet been able to put our house on the market.

DO - call Handyman Pro and have them come visit you for a free estimate DO - write up a list of tasks / what needs to be done; DO - make a copy of the job list and use it to walk with them when you point out the job(s) you have; DO - give as much detail as possible when discussing your job; e.g., paint colors or quality of materials. Some people want things done on the cheap; others want the work to last as long as possible. Did you know, for example, there are different quality levels of caulking? DO - expect a reasonable wait for the job to begin once the estimate is emailed or otherwise provided to you and approved; DO - ask for paperless estimating, invoicing and billing; so much easier to manage. DO - exercise some patience when calling their office; this small office gets busy sometimes; but they do practice truly great customer service DO - give the estimator and the staff notice of special considerations, as applicable; for example, sneaky meowers who might want to scoot outside when a door to the garage or front porch is opened; DO - make time when they are available so that your work can be completed sooner, once the estimate is provided. DO - pay Handyman Pro as soon as the invoice is provided; DO - come to Angie?s list and write them a few words after they have completed their work, even if you are a tough evaluator or they do not live up to your expectations; one cannot get better if feedback is not received DO - pass on Handyman Pro?s contact information to your friends which might need top notch services around your home. DON?T - hold back with your needs. If they cannot do the work, they do have craftsmen and women in their Rolodex who are also highly skilled. And no worries; one invoice is provided for all services. DON?T - worry about the work. Handyman Pro office and trades staff do a really great job that will give you peace of mind, important in today?s lack of quality in workmanship by many companies.

Ray and his partner were on time. Found the problem quickly and fixed it. They were both very pleasant to visit with and I plan on using them again.

Handyman Pro provided the estimate over the phone. They completed the project in stages. They first took a portion of the cabinet doors to their shop. Following installation of the hinges, they returned and installed that group. They repeated the process until all of the cabinet doors in the house had been upgraded. It was quick, painless and most professional.
