Description of Work: Blake and his crew did a very good job, they were timely and professional. The job site was left neat and clean at the end of each day. I will be using them for a future drainage project.

Description of Work: Put in a retaining wall and dry river bed down one side of the house. Then continued the river bed down the side of the backyard and around the corner to our flower garden. They connected 3 downspouts to an underground pipe to direct water to the street. And installed a new fence around the backyard. What was not in the contract was the extra dirt we had left, they spread nicely in a couple of low spots without us asking. | |They started and finished when they said (even with the rain). There were no extra costs. They yard looks fantastic! The cost was $11,900.

Description of Work: They did a beautiful Venetian paver sidewalk. They also drew up plans for four different areas of my yard.

Description of Work: We scheduled an appointment, later received an e-mail delaying it by an hour, which was okay with us, but he showed up at the original time; fortunately, we were home |He listened to our concerns re: flooding, measured and submitted a sketch of plan for drainage and an estimate good for 18 months. The plan did seem like it would resolve our problem, but it was quite costly at nearly $5,000, to much for us at this time. We would want to take the design to others for comparatives. He did give us a suggestion of installing guttering and integrating that with the drainage. We didn't rule his plan out completely.

Description of Work: Landscape design. I loved it and I really appreciated what he did. At this time I am deciding whether to do the landscaping since I plan to sell the house this year. If I do it, he will definitely get my business!!

Description of Work: Giant Landscape, LLC designed landscaping for part of my front yard. The design was excellent, and the execution exceeded all my expectations. I plan to use them again in the spring to finish the front yard. Blake Emerson was easy to work with and listened to my ideas, answered any questions I had, and explained why things would (or wouldn't) work. I am happily anticipating the next stage of my landscaping work in the spring!

Description of Work: Blake came by and talked with me about some things I was interested in. He came back later and did an assessment and then drew up plans. Blake is a professional all the way. He was prompt, fair and helpful. He also gave me quotes for other things I might want built. I have not followed thru because I am still not sure this is what I want. His prices were reasonable. Landscaping is expensive and takes a lot of work. I would use Blake if I decide to follow thru with the plan.

Description of Work: We purchased a Big Deal for a landscape plan, and Blake developed a very nice plan for our front yard, utilizing perennials and leaving us some place for annuals of our choice. We had to wait about three months for him to be able to implement it, but that was no problem. He had to put in some different plants than were noted on the original plan due to availability problems, but the overall look is beautiful and low-maintenance. Once work commenced, it took about 6 business days to complete. | |In addition to the new landscaping, we had Blake install an automatic, water-conserving sprinkler system, and we have been very pleased with that. Our neighborhood has extremely high water pressure, and when we had to install a pressure reducing valve for our house, Blake came out at no charge and adjusted the sprinklers to match the reduced pressure. He also fixed a spot in the flagstone edging that was cracking a bit. | |We highly recommend Blake. He is honest, talented, and easy to work with.

Description of Work: Submitted plans for front landscaping. Installed front entryway, sidewalk and raised beds of cobbles, installed soil, mulch and Japanese Maple. Remaining plantings deferred, | pending house painting. | |All services were performed on schedule, and very efficiently. All workmen seemed competent, and were pleasant and cheerful. Blake Emerson is very knowledgeable, flexible, competent and a joy to work with.

Description of Work: Giant Landscaping built a sidewalk to my shed, giving a nice edge to my long flower bed, and built a wood compost bin behind the shed, surrounded by a rock edge and gravel over landscape fabric to prevent weeds. I am very pleased with the work, and will be having work done in my front yard within the next month. I recommend them highly.

Description of Work: I met with Blake and, two weeks later, he presented me with a design proposal for the landscaping I wanted to be done. He was a great listener, reflected in the plan he presented. Projects were broken down into segments that could be accomplished separately to reduce costs. I could also do some of the work myself, or pay him and his crew to do the entire project. I was happy with what he presented and expected costs, do we agreed to proceed in the Fall.

Description of Work: The owner prepared a detailed plan for landscaping the back yard of our home, after discussing our preferences at some length. He arrived as scheduled with his team, extended our lawn irrigation system with individual emitters to each plant in the area we selected, and installed stone edging around its perimeter. He removed the sod, tilled up the area, and added about 3-4 inches of good topsoil to the planting bed. The crew then planted each selected item with proper care, and all items have tolerated the transplant shock very well. Some of the items are blooming well. The entire area looks great, and we are pleased by both the plan and its implementation.

Description of Work: I purchased the landscape evaluation. Blake was punctual and was very kind and pleasant. The work that he put together was pretty awesome! I highly recommend!
