Overall good experience. Quote was best I received out of 3, so priced competitively and was able to install the generator fairly quickly (within a couple of weeks I believe). I didn't love where the generator had to be placed but I understand that was to comply with code. What I did not know ahead of time was that a control box would also need to be installed and according to "code" it meant that they had to take off one of my carriage lights outside of my garage. It was disappointing to have another eyesore added without knowing it ahead of time. I would still use Faith again, as this box would need to be there with whatever company I used, I would just let other consumers know to ask about the location of the generator but also the control box ahead of time.

Everything went smoothly, except for dealing with the different OKC inspectors failing small things. My project would be placed back on a waiting list to get fixed, so I had an open trench for a little while. Once everything got the green light from the city, they finished the project. The project leaders were very respectful and explained the process. I highly recommend getting a bid from Faith Electric.

I scheduled my first service call for my generator. The serviceman did not show up and when I called he apologized, he forgot when he scheduled the appointment that he would be on vacation. He also forgot to give me a call to move the service appointment. He came out right away when he got off vacation and very professionally serviced my generator.

I hired Faith Elect. a couple of mos. ago to complete the work which a general contractor abandoned when he "walked off the job". They had to make several appts. to complete the work due to the status of the construction. When the elect. arrived to complete the taks of installing lights and appliances, they possessed stellar professionalism and expertise. I appreciate the integrity of the company and their willingness to work with their customers. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone.

It seem at first all they had to do was order a part...... I have called 6 times on the part..... no one seems to know about the part or when it will come in....so you know when you have had ENOUGH...I am so DONE...... I work hard every day and I don't have to call a business over and over again to take my BUSINESS...... so if you are not in any hurry to get faith electric to come out ...... then this may be the electric company for you....I have waited for over a month for them to come out and tell me what was going on with my generator...... today I called them..... and toldthem that they can take me off their NO CALL LIST...... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They cancelled original install months ago due to illness of workers. They did offer discount to make up for the delay, We rushed back from out of state to be here for new work date. They never showed, When I called, they had changed it to 2 days later without telling me. Was told they would show up at 8 am & job would take 1 day. First work day, no show at 8 am & no call. Finally arrived after 10:15 & started work at 10:30 am. Stopped work & left after 4 hours at 2:30 pm. Arrived after 9 am 2nd day. Worked till 3:30 pm. Left around 4:20 pm after we discussed changing some plans. One worker knocked down support for suspended HVAC unit in cellar. Didn't bother to put it back or tell me. I put it back & told supervisor about it. Asked him to warn his co-worker to watch what he was doing because he could have been injured; besides seriously damaging the HVAC system & ductwork. They showed me scratches/gouge they made when installing one outlet. Said they would fix but didn't. Had expensive/fragile items covered with covers in one room for protection. Found their heavy tools laying on top of the covers. They also laid heavy, dirty saws & some equipment on furniture. Instead of adding a new grounded outlet next to an existing ungrounded one as instructed, they used the ungrounded outlet. Asked me about it when I walked in to check on progress. (He already had it 75% done) So instead of having one grounded outlet & one ungrounded, I have only one outlet. We agreed to install 4 less outlets & install a switch & light fixture, add a couple of GFCI outlets, & replace a fan light switch that I went & got. They lowered the price also. Installing less outlets kept them from crawling in dirt cellar & climbing ladders outside to run more conduit. 3rd & last day, sounded like WW3 as they rushed to finish. Heard loud boom & thought it was earthquake. One of them slammed the cellar door harder then I've ever heard it. Went down after they left & he had knocked down HVAC support post AGAIN! And didn't tell me of course. New outlets in 2nd part of house were supposed to be run to new circuit at breaker box. Can't tell for sure but it looks like they just tied on to an existing circuit nearby instead of going all the way back to breaker box. Both guys were nice. Said work meeting made them late first day. Other work reasons the next day. I told them they should call if they are going to be late & that we were told by office they would arrive at 8 am every day. Don't hire unless you can watch them every second, you don't mind them taking shortcuts without asking or telling you, & you don't mind jobs taking 3 times as long as estimate. A month earlier, in-laws had bathroom updated by unrelated company. 1 week job took a month as they went without a shower for 3 weeks. Is there no one who does work like back in the 50's/60's? When people took pride in their work & treated their customers like they wanted to be treated (or better)?

I paid Faith Electric $185 to install an electrical outlet on my back patio and make a few other small repairs. In short order, after a few uses, the plug pulled away from the wall and then quit working altogether. After dragging my feet for months, I finally called them to complain about the non-working outlet. To my surprise, they sent a technician out to my house within about 30 minutes. He fixed the problem and didn't charge me anything more. This is the way business should be done. They stood behind their work and it was very much appreciatedt. I will call them whenever the need arises.

We recently moved to Edmond and into a 1960's home. Needless-to-say the house needs some updating - to include electrical. We didn't have an electrician that we normally used, so we turned to Angie's List and found that Faith Electric had many very good reviews. We decided to try them out on a couple of easy projects to see if we wanted to use them for more work in the immediate future. Projects: 1.) Installing a basic light fixture into an existing electrical box in the kitchen ceiling. Nothing to assemble, just wire and hang. 30-minutes tops for a do-it-yourselfer. 2.) Install an electrical outlet, literally inches above the breaker box in the master bedroom ( with plenty of free breaker space). Again, 30-minute job estimate. When I called, the lady who answered their phones was professional and friendly and scheduled a time for them to come out within a day or so. I was told their rate was $125/hr and for that I would get 2 workers. I knew ( from reviews here and word of mouth) that their rates were a bit higher than many others. But I also knew they'd been around a long time and were well established and trusted. They scheduled a 3pm appointment, however, to my surprise, I received a call at 2pm stating they were in my driveway and had come early ( and unannounced). I wasn't home and had to drop what I was doing to accommodate their change in schedule ( not a good way to start). When I arrived home I was concerned to see both workers sitting in their work van puffing away on cigarettes. One even tossed a cigarette onto my driveway. Naturally, when they walked into my home they reeked of cigarette smoke ( not professional at all). Regardless, both employees were friendly, dressed appropriately, were in a marked work vehicle and immediately looked over the tasks at hand. One worker got to installing the kitchen fixture while the other went to work installing a new electrical outlet. To my surprise, 35 minutes in I was told they needed to go back to the shop to get a fuse and they needed to drop a worker off so he could go to a doctor's appointment. Neither job had progressed very far at that point. About 40 minutes later one worker returned. I had assumed he would be bringing another work with him as I was told I was paying $125/hr for TWO WORKERS, not one. The one worker set to now doing both projects one-at-a-time. A job that should have taken an hour with two workers, now took two hours and had a 40-minute break from when they had to return to the shop. When complete, both jobs looked good and the outlet and fixture worked as it should. When finished, the electrician ( Jim, I think), asked if I had a broom and dust pan so he could clean up. Already miffed this had taken longer than it should and knowing I'd be paying him $125/hr to sweep my floor with my broom, I told him I'd handle it. Personally, I don't understand why they wouldn't have a dust pan, broom, collapsable garbage can and a shop vac on them. I had also mentioned twice that my wife really wanted the decorative light pole at the end of the driveway to work and asked if he'd trouble shoot it to see if it was an easy fix or a more complicated one. He never showed any interest in even looking at the light pole. I also pointed out some additional work I wanted done on a future visit; hanging of a chandelier type light in the dinning area, installing of dimmer switches, installing a timer switch, adding an outlet in a closet and securing some wiring in the attic that was a fire hazard. When I asked for an estimate he simply said, "it takes whatever it takes and we charge by the hour plus materials." I think we were his last appointment of the day and he wanted to leave. The most disturbing thing was what I found when the electrician left. As I walked into my master bedroom I kicked something on the floor. When I looked down I found an OPEN 4" Smith & Wesson S.W.A.T. spring action lock blade knife!!!!! This all black knife was lying open on my almost black wood floors. Had myself, my wife or a child walked the same path barefoot it would most assuredly have caused a very serious injury requiring an emergency room visit. Needless to say, while I think their electricians are competent to do electrical work, that fact does not out weigh all the negatives; 1.) They don't send anyone out to look over a job in advance to give an estimate of time and materials needed. 2.) Unable to give me a ballpark estimate on additional jobs needed once on site. 3.) Price per hour is much higher than the average in this area. 4.) I paid for two workers and only got one - resulting in additional time I had to pay for. 5.) They arrived an hour early and unannounced. 6.) They were smoking on my property and just seconds before coming into my home. 7.) A cigarette was discarded onto my property. 8.) They arrived without the necessary equipment (breaker for an outlet they knew they were supposed to instal). 9.) They brought nothing to clean their mess up with and relied on the homeowner to provide it. 10.) They made no attempt to address an issue I expressed was important to me. 11.) They left a deadly weapon (a tactical knife) open on my floor where it posed a serious physical threat. Needless to say, I called a different local electrical company to do additional work that needed to be done. See my review of Enterprize Electric.

If you take the time to read our review, it will become pretty obvious that it has nothing to do with the quality of the electrical work or the cost, it has more to do with this customers desire not to have a contractor and employees on the premisis that smoke. I did not charge this custome for the work we performed.

Price was fair, our only complaint was they were about an hour late in showing. That was no big deal as I was off work, but would not have been happy if I had left work for the appointment. They were thorough with showing me how to use it and we were pleased with the job. We were pleased with job and will use them in future.

Answered all questions about these generators before I purchased. The owner (I think his name was Dave?) was most professional. He assisted with the install itself - it went smoothly. Their price was lowest in town for the same kind/power of generator. While no ice storms have knocked me out since, it has come on occasionally during OG&E screw-ups with the power :)
