Down to Earth Design Scapes

The work began in April 2012. The problem was reported after a week old. The repair began in June 2012. The company required me to pay for therepair cost. They refused to repair their poor work.

Started off fine. Work was performed as proposed and payments were made on an ongoing basis as they requested payment. Toward the end of the project, we completed an audit of what was charged vs what was received. Found some missing items that we had paid for and not received. Total of around $2400. Janet Danford, owner of Down to Earth Designscapes took our inventory notes and said that she would have her husband come verify the shortages. She then left and never came back. Her husband didn't come by and they did not return our calls or respond to our letters. We finally advised her in a letter dated July 13, 2011, that we expected resolution or we would pursure resolution through the courts. After no response from Ms. Danford, we filed a claim in Small Claims Court. The hearing took place on November 22, 2011. Judgement was issued against Ms. Danford for $2,431.70 plus court costs of $168.00. We are still trying to collect the judgement.
