Description of Work: Painted all of the outside trim, and replaced wood trim that needed to be replaced. I was very pleased with the work and that he has the skills to do the carpentry work that was necessary instead of having to contact out the work. I also appreciate the bid that he provides is what you will be charged.

Description of Work: Mr Parker was very professional and quick to return my phone call. His services were recommended by a family member who has used him in the past year for work. His professionalism and the fair price quoted for the work needing to be done at her property is what made me wish to work with him.

Description of Work: I wanted to provide a review for Mr Parker even though he was not selected for the job that he provided a bid on. Mr Parker was very punctual, thorough and professional in bid process. He also followed-up after submital of the bid to ensure we had all of the necessary information to make a decision. Mr Parker's bid was very detailed and we new exactly what work would be accomplished on each and every room and the cost for each room. His bid was virtually identical in price to the selected contractor. The only reason we didn't go with Mr. Parker was due to timing. He had another job that he had commited to and would not be able to start our project for about a month, probably a good sign of a good contractor. The only reason I did not rate Mr Parker's quality was because he wasn't selected to do the work.

Description of Work: Moved and covered all furniture. Sanded, primed, applied two coats paint to all cabinets, crown moldings, etc. Replaced all hardware and fixtures. Repaired, textured and repainted walls.

Description of Work: Donnie Parker Painting has painted the entire outside of our house and every interior room, with the exception of one. Donnie always gives timely and fair estimates. For the outside of the house, the house was power washed, the paint was scraped, rotten wood was replaced, nail holes sealed and he followed that with at least three coats of paint including an undercoating. The interior paint job had the same type of thoroughness and attention to detail. The inside work has also included door and sheet rock repair.

Description of Work: Donnie Parker was very prompt to come and give me an estimate after I had called him. He was very thorough in his explaination of his painting services and the steps he would take to do a good exterior paint service. I had called two other companies and was not very impressed with their preparation of the wood to recieve the paint and have it last. I did have to wait for about two months for the service to be done but to me that shows that their service was in high demand and if other customers were willing to wait then his painting service must be that good!!!! The crew consisted of Donnie and his son and another coworker and they started by power washing down the house and waiting several days to start scrapping and prepping the wood. I had my whole house done but my soffits required some wood sections to be replaced and some trim pieces. Yes, Donnie and his crew do painting the good old way of actually scrapping and removing peeling paint. The other two companies were going to just power wash my house and then put on primer and paint which to me sounds like taking a short cut. After the prep work, then the crew spent two days brushing on the paint with a real paint brush and not a sprayer. Not only did they put on the original coat but they brushed on a second coat and did my feint door and side door in a darker brown color which looked really nice. I have outside monitoring cameras and the crew was very careful in masking off and painting around these cameras. The spent about 5 days from start to finish and did a great job of cleaning up. My house along with doors and gutters all painted to match looks AWESOME! I am anticipating not having to paint my house again for the next ten years plus! I would highly recommend Donnie and for all the work they did the price was very fair. I have learned in life...you get what ypu pay for and i got a great paint job on my house!!
