We had called another plumber that came out a week after we called them. After waiting all day for them to come, they quoted a price of $500. Plus they would have to cut a hole in the sheet rock in the laundry room and the bathroom. And, they could not do it that day (Thursday) but would have to come back on Tuesday morning. Well Tuesday morning came and they called and said they could not be here until 2-3. My husband could not see why they needed to cut the sheet rock ( which they do not repair), so after they were late again, we called at 3 and cancelled. THANK GOODNESS we did. We called Cherokee on Tuesday and made an appointment between 8-10 on Friday. Mark called at 9 on Friday and said he would be here in 10 minutes. He was on time. After looking at what needed to be done, he said it would take about one and a half hours and the approximate cost would be $200. No mention of needing to cut the sheet rock. He went right to work and was done in about 2 hours. Even though it took a little longer than he expected, he only charged for the 1 1/2 hours. We also got a discount for Angie's list! Everything he fixed is working great! Cherokee and Mark certainly earned the A rating! We would give A+!!!

I had two separate jobs performed. One at a rent house, a major job, which was the supply/drain lines, bathroom supply lines/drain lines/bath fixture. At my home I had a toilet (closet) flange installed and two supply line shutoff valves installed. In both cases, I was completely satisfied. In the rent house I had to have about 10 feet of concrete broken out, then replaced after the work. Cherokee did it all and did it well. The people were timely, friendly, professional, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Cherokee Plumbing.

Called Cherokee Plumbing on Monday, March 4. They came out Thursday, March 7. Mark called 30 minutes before he got to my house. He showed up within the appointment time frame. We discussed the problems I was having, and he got to work. He had to remove an old cleanout fitting that was not installed well (on the house when we bought it). It took him a little while to get everything done (this was because there was a lot to do). After he finished, he cleaned up after himself, and even cleaned out the toilet where it had back flowed. I have never had a plumber clean up after they were done. I will definitely use them again.

I was very pleased. He was respectful and walked me through everything he was going to do. I really appreciated him answering my questions and how well he cleaned up. I will definitely use them again for all things plumbing.

I looked on Angie's List for a plumber to come and fix our master bath tub because we didn't have water pressure or hot water. I found Cherokee Plumbing, called them, left a message and my call was returned by Colin. I told him the issue and he gave me a "worse case scenario" estimate over the phone. I had to wait a couple of weeks before making the appt just so I could make sure I had the money available. I called January 29th to make an appt, and made one for Feb 6 between 8-10am. It took a little longer to get in with Cherokee plumbing, but knowing that they were a locally owned small business and seeing such great remarks on Angie's List, I was more than willing to wait. Mark, from Cherokee Plumbing called me at about 8:40 on February 6th, and said he was on his way. He was at the house in about 10 minutes, I explained to him the issue and he went right to work. After about a half hour of trying a few things, Mark told me it was the valve. He had to leave to go and pick up the part and would be back quickly. He was true to his word, and shortly after he was back, the issue was resolved. He was kind enough to explain to me what happened and what I needed to do so that it would not happen again. Mark was very professional and was kind enough to answer all of my questions, no matter how inconsequential they may have been. He wore shoe covers on his boots while he was in my home and also cleaned up after himself. Cherokee also offers a free look at your water heater, which was another bonus. Before he left, Mark asked if there was anything else that I needed checked. After I said no, he was off to his truck to get my final bill ready. The final price was substantially lower than what it could have been. Because I don't know a thing about plumbing, it would have been easy to charge me what they originally quoted me and I would not have been the wiser, but it's people like Mark and companies like Cherokee Plumbing that will always keep me coming back to small businesses. Cherokee plumbing offers 5% discount for Angie's List members, but they also offer a military discount. There were not able to combine the two, but they were kind enough to let me use the discount that would allow me to save the most. I will definitely use this company again in the future. No story have not had a call back since December 3, 2012.

They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves.

Our service was scheduled for a Thursday. On Tuesday Colin from Cherokee Plumbing was doing another job near us. He called and ask if he could stop by to look at the needed repairs. He wanted to assess what parts and materials he might need to do the the repairs. On Thursday he returned, took care of the repairs we requested. He checked, with our permission, to see if there were any other potential problems that needed to be addressed. He found no additional problems. Colin was friendly, polite and efficient. We have since experienced another very minor plumbing problem....a pin-hole leak on the shut-off valve for the refrigerator ice maker. We E-mailed Cherokee Plumbing requesting service. They called us back right away and we have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow.

I called Cherokee for service on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at 3:37pm, got answering machine only and I left a voice message giving my name, telephone number and description of the work needed. Cherokee NEVER returned my call. A week I turned to another Angie's List plumbing company and was helped satisfactorily.below.

We have had chronic problems with our bathtubs draining. Colin diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed the problem and showed us how to prevent the problem from happening again. Great service. We are thankful for the training on how to avoid the problem in the future!

Cherokee plumbing is what a plumbing company should be. I had some problems and had another company out and spent over 1k and still didn't have the issue resolved. I asked Cherokee to bring out a camera and they did not have one but found another person in town to do it. They met the other guy at the house and found the problem and didn't charge me for coming out only for the camera guy. They gave me the option to fix the issue myself or they could help me. I did it myself but they definitely saved me some bucks by being honest and fair. I thank them for that. Todd

Plumber was booked due to the holidays, but was kind to work us into his schedule. He called 30 minutes before his on-time arrival. He was patient in listening to all the "guidance" I had to offer. Then, he quickly identified the problem and cleaned the drain. I liked the fact they wanted to make sure everything was working correctly so they had me run multiple wash loads to confirm the clog was fully removed. When working on the washer, I asked about some drywall damage that was noticeable behind the washer. The plumber checked the drain pipes and water supply. He found the faucet stem had a very small leak that was running down the supply line and contacting the drywall causing the damage. He fixed the leak and suggested that it might need replacement if it started leaking again. Overall, felt the plumber was very competent and was very courteous.

I had a fantastic experience from the moment I made the first call with this company. The owner was helpful, guiding me with respect to what extra parts/sizes of parts/pipes I should get prior to the installation appointment. I am not very knowledgeable about plumbing, so I really needed someone I knew I could trust. We had a water softener in are our last home, and I knew how important installation was so there weren't leaks and future problems. Ron (plumber that performed the installation) was very experienced, professional, and a great problem-solver. He had installed another softener from the same company I purchased my softener from, and knew how to get more information to assist with the programming of the softeners (more complicated than the older models I was familiar with). He showed me any issues he had along the way so I understood what he was working on. He knew right away how to fill up the brine tank properly and gave me required information for programming the unit. I've had the unit for a couple months now and we're so happy with it. I will hire Cherokee Plumbing for all of our future plumbing issues! There were a lot of plumbers to select from on Angie's list, but I carefully read the reviews and I'm so glad I picked this company. Thanks, Angie's List! I'm going to keep up my membership until all our major home improvement work is done.

Very professional, on time, and explained thoroughly the procedure. He tried to avoid having to replace expensive pieces. Defintiely would recommend Cherokee. Will call again if plumbing issues arise.

Had two meetings with contractor. Was not ready for either meeting and unable to be accountable to expectations. Did not use.

I was very pleased with the appointment setter- Mary, and the plumber that actually did the work. They were courteous, professional and went above and beyond their job when dealing with the city of Oklahoma City. I am highly satisfied and I would definitely use Cherokee Plumbing again.

This was my first experience with Cherokee. The person who answered the phone (Mary) was friendly and professional. She booked the appointment, and answered my questions. Jeff called before coming out, to make sure he understood what needed to be done. He showed up on time, and performed the repairs professionally, at the agreed upon price. Not only are these folks good at their profession, I came away feeling that they honestly appreciated my business. What more could you ask!

Our plumber was business like, explained things well - we were very pleased.

He arrived promptly, being able to fit us in on short notice (we called this morning at 9am). I had dug up the pipe so repairs could be made more rapidly. Repaired broken pipe and helped get lines cleared and verified no leaks to the repaired area. Before leaving, he asked about the hot water heater and if we could get the pilot lit and helped us to get it lit and adjusted. I thought this was a very nice touch. I would defiantly recommend them and would use them again.

The line collapsed. We ad them come out and replace the line. We were comfortable because of the work they did replacing our hot water tank with a tankless system. They had done great work and we had them come out. They gave us an estimate that was appropriate for the work to be done. They were able to do the work on time and on budget. We have used them since and have had great service. Would recommend them for plumbing work.
