Description of Work: Cherokee worked on the plumbing in my master bathroom - replacing the shower control cartridge and fixing the sink pop-up drain. They did the work quickly and to my satisfaction. In fact, I thought they would have to replace the whole sink drain, but they were able to just replace the stopper which saved time and money. They did a great job! I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The owner and his coworker do excellent work and are great to work with. I would use them more often, but I think they are stretched to thin for the demand for their services. I remodel houses and regularly use plumbing services and routinely call Cherokee Plumbing and use them if they are available.

Description of Work: Re-piped the gas lines in my new house and installed a new hot water tank. Colin first talked me though the entire process, letting me know the possible problems that might be encountered. He also kept me informed as the work was being done as to what was happening. After the installation was inspected he sent two of his workers to turn on the gas and install my washer and dryer. All his employees were polite and friendly. They got right to the job and didn't waste any time. I will definitely call on Colin for any future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: I had a plumbing issue at my house and I was looking for an outside professional opinion. Colin set up a appointment to discuss my situation. He provided an honest estimate, and he did not charge me for his visit. I would absolutely recommend him; if I ever do need plumping service this business will be the first place I call.

Description of Work: Residential hot water tank replacement. |My initial contact to Cherokee Plumbing was made via email, at my convenience after business ours on a Thursday or Friday. Prompt reply by return phone call the following morning, and an appointment was scheduled. Contact on phone and gentlemen that came were all pleasant and efficient. Job done well.

Description of Work: Had to call several times. They finally made an appointment to come & give me an estimate but never showed up or called to advise or reschedule. Needless to say break extended ending in an unaffordable mess.

Description of Work: Fixed bathroom faucet leak,but the best thing was, that he gave me advice on a cheap fix to an outside faucet leak that could have cost a lot of money with a less honest man. Thank you Colin. If you need a plumber you can trust, at least call him for a bid. Better yet, hire him!!

Also installed new garbage disposal and made recommendations regarding installing new dishwasher. Nice to support a small locally-owned business. Substantial savings (as opposed to using Home Depot). Would not hesitate to use again!

Description of Work: They arrived quickly were condsiderate and clean. Very professional. They replaced a garabage disposal, 2 bathroom faucets. They had to return to put in new tub drains and rebuild the faucet on the tub. My tubs have no access except through the wall or sheetrock. It was late and we decided that earlier in the day was better in case of trouble. He came back a few days later and in 40 min. all was done and he didn't have to cut thru the wall or the ceiling. I had other plumbers not touch it years ago. I am very pleased and will use them again. So will my friend.

Description of Work: We had to have the main sewer line replaced in our 73 year old house with basement for the second time in two years (another plumber did it originally and it fell apart). We called Cherokee plumbing and Colin came out and spent around two hours taking measurements and inspecting the property in order to give us a bid. All other plumbers that quoted the job only stuck around for fifteen minutes and did not have half of the attention to detail that Colin showed so we decided to go with Cherokee plumbing. The job started promptly and was completed I'm a reasonable time. They used a good quality pvc pipe (the original plumber used cell core which is an inferior product for deeper line) and packed the dirt under the pipe to prevent settling of the ground underneath. While they were replacing the sewer line we decided to have them replace the main gas line to the house as well which was done quickly. This job required tearing out the fence at the back of the yard to get to the sewer main and Colin worked with our neighbor to the back to arrange fixing any damage to their property. We would highly recommend Cherokee Plumbing for large or small jobs. We are going to use them again.

Description of Work: Colin first came out to repair our toilet only to discover that it was an obsolete unit, and parts were not readily available. After searching online he was able to locate the right parts, and returned and got things fixed. He saved us the cost of a new toilet by his extra effort. I feel that he is honest and trust worthy, and I will highly reccomend him to others.

Description of Work: I had purchased a kitchen faucet that I needed installed, because my old one leaked. They performed the function quickly and professionally. However, after they left, I turned on the faucet and discovered that the leak still existed, but it was not the fixture, it was my garbage disposal. It had a hole in it. They came back in, and promptly left and returned with a new disposal. I was well pleased with the timeliness and service.
