Great Job, Easy to work with

The whole project took 3-4 weeks to completion. Cherokee was good about restoring my water supply quickly and I had use of my new tub & hot water right away. The Code Inspector came as soon as the new hot water heater was hooked up. Then we had to wait several days for the tile contractor to finish his work before we could restore the use of the toilet and vanity sink. Cleanup in the crawl space took a while. The old drain pipes were large and some of the old water pipes had to be detached from the joists. There were some 110 degree daytime temps. All in all it, was a positive experience and a good summer project. Colin Frayser, owner-manager, was responsive to all my requests. He personally inspected all the work after everything was completed and the Code Inspector did a final inspection.

I have no dislikes. It was perfect. It was fast and they did very good work. It was a big surprise.

They were on time. They came within a couple of days of my contacting them. They came at the time they gave me. The estimate was okay; it wasn't super-duper or it wasn't too bad. I did not get the information I wanted to get before I could actually start the project. I wanted to be sure that after they fixed the plumbing issue that the sprinkler would work and they were not sure so I didn't go with them. I would use them for plumbing. I didn’t get the information I needed but overall I was satisfied with them.

He was really nice and did a great job! My husband was very pleased and we will call him back next time if we have a problem!

Cherokee Plumbing did a real good job. They were here in and hour or so. We were real pleased with them. Ron was real friendly. The quality of work was great. He did it in a timely manner.

Great service from start to finish. I thought I had the correct parts for everything, but as it turns out, I didn't. The plumber went right out to the truck and got what he needed, finishing the job very quickly and professionally.

The work of repairing the bathtub faucet and the two sink faucets took approximately two hours. The only interruption in work was to go out to get parts.

They were able to come out almost immediately and they were very professional.

I broke the valve in toilet and could not shut off with shut off valve. Had to shut off main supply to house. The dispatcher kept me up to date on when the plumber would arrive. Arrived earlier than expected and resolved the problems.Was friendly and professional. Would recommend.

Had a leak in the ceiling downstairs. Called Cherokee and they came out on a Saturday to look at the damage. They evaluated the problem to determine that the leak could be managed over the weekend and scheduled to come out early the next week. They came out and found the leak. Cut out a piece of ceiling sheetrock (as little as they could) and replaced the one piece of damaged pipe. They also fixed a poorly done shower drain and made sure the other pipes were clear. They cleaned up after themselves and left. Workers were friendly and easy to deal with. The second visit, they replaced a downstairs toilet that was leaking. The staff person arrived as scheduled, recommended a new toilet, and went to get the toilet. He returned and replaced the broken toilet. My only problem is that he replaced it with a low flow toilet which I do not like, but now I know to be more active in the decision-making process!

I called Cherokee Plumbing about a problem I was having with my drain line backing up. I spoke with Colin who advised me that I first needed to have my utilities marked & then it would best to have a video inspection done to see what the problem was. He said he knew of such a contractor, told me what the cost would be & said if I decided to have the video done he would also be there to review the video & provide an estimate. After OKIE marked the utilities I called Colin & he & the contractor were over within the hour. Although the video was inconclusive because of water in the line Colin provided me with estimates covering 3 possible problems & fixes. I called Colin later that day, told him I decided to go with his company, and he said he would get back to me once he checked his schedule. He called back a little while later & said he could start work the next morning. Colin & his crew showed up promptly the next morning to begin the work. After digging up the line it was discovered that the drain had come loose from the riser & the coupling had broken. The repair was done, the hole filled in & beginning to end the job was done in a little over 4 hours. The best part was I was charged $300 less than the low estimate I?d been given. I wouldn?t hesitate to use Cherokee in the future for any of my plumbing problems. They were prompt, courteous, & keep me informed of the process from beginning to end.

As I had used their service once before and was happy with it, I called them again regarding a stopped up washing machine drain. They arrived during the time specified, evaluated the situation, and began snaking out the drain. It took about 1/2 hour. Ron from Cherokee Plumbing then checked that the sink drain was working properly. I ran a load of clothes to make sure the washing machine drain was working properly, and we checked the main sewer line by flushing the bathroom toilet, and running the bathroom sink's water. It all checked out. Ron then added a sewer drain cleaner, and cleaned up the mess. We did talk about some preventive measures to keep the kitchen drain cleaner.

Called Cherokee early in the morning and left a message. The call was returned within an hour and Ron was out to house by noon. Very professional and courteous. The work took over 4 hours to install a new water softener, an instant hot water dispenser, and re-plumb the refrigerator. He had to run to the store for parts but returned promptly. Highly recommend and will certainly call again if the need arises.

Cherokee estimated the job, drafted a balanced contract and executed the work beautifully within 7 working days. Unlike others who were asked for quotes, they weren't overwhelmed by the complexity of the work and considered it a routine construction event. A crew of three professionals remained on the job until it was completed to our satisfaction. They used the best materials and equipment and their plumbing and general consruction skills were exceptional. They encountered several surprises during the course of the work but completed the job without complaint or additional charges.

Plumber was very punctual, courtous and professional. Explained everything and advised what repairs could be made in the future when we asked. He installed 1 new toilet and repaired a bad installation on another which was done by another plumbing company. He also installed a new shower head. Mary, who answered the phone and scheduled the service call was extremely courteous and professional. We will definitely be calling them again in the near future.

Water pressure in my home went from weak to practically non-existant. I called Cherokee on a Sunday evening, left message and they returned my call, came out to the house the next day and did the job. I can't recall the exact name of the part (PRV?) that needed replacing but it was at the main water shut-off/on point in the house. The job took about an hour becaue a hole had to be cut in the wall in order to access the valve. I don't know if the price was fair but in comparing it to other posts on Angie's List I believe it was fair.

Was a great experience. Jeff and Aaron did a great job and worked out well. They made a great installation for us. Everything was brought up to code. We are pleased with the work Cherokee did . We have used them since this replacement and would not hesitate giving them a recommendation to my family and friends.

They were really good. The guy had to come back for installation. He did not charge me for that second appointment.

Called one day in advance to schedule this event, simply poor planning on my part. Mary answered the call, she was very pleasant to deal with, scheduled the appointment and told me they would be there around 130, but would give me a call to verify. Didn't receive the advance phone call, but they did arrive on time, unpacked and went to work. As mentioned prior, most of the sinks required some form of plumbing reconfiguration, so the job took about 3 hours. Next day, everything seems to be leak-free and working as advertised, would call them again for future business...that's the real litmus test here anyhow....

From the beginning, this was a positive experience. From the office to the plumber who installed my hot water heater, they were all very nice, very accommodating, and very professional. They gave me a 3 hour window as to when they would arrive and called 15 minutes early. I hardly knew they were here because they were quiet and unobtrusive. I will definitely use Cherokee Plumbing again in the future for my plumbing needs.

It was a difficult change out that required bringing in an extra person; so the removal and replacement took a little longer than expected. The technicians were courteous, professional and stayed until the job was completed.
